5 Stars! INCREDIBLE TALENT AND SUCH A WONDERFUL PERSON! We truly cannot say enough wonderful things…read moreabout our violinist! From beginning to end, he was absolutely incredible, and the music he created for our wedding was more beautiful than we ever could have imagined! First of all, he was SO kind, patient, and accommodating throughout the entire process! We originally approached him with one song in mind, but as our wedding plans evolved, we ended up wanting a blend of multiple songs, including traditional, old-fashioned religious hymns and more contemporary stuff for my walk down the aisle, and our first dance. Rather just playing a few separate songs, he seamlessly wove everything together into something so incredibly beautiful and meaningful to us, it made me cry. He was SO meticulous as we worked through exactly what we wanted, and he made the entire experience feel so easy and special! And his TALENT!!! I genuinely cannot put into words how wonderful the music was. We eloped on the cliffs of Torrey Pines overlooking the ocean. It was WINDY and he performed completely solo, the music was breathtaking. The ceremony location was not exactly the easiest place to access, either, but he made it happen with no problem! It like something out of a movie. Our ceremony also ended up starting later than anticipated, and he was incredibly gracious about the delay. He stayed beyond our originally scheduled time and the flexibility meant so much to us, especially with so much going on. We really could not recommend him more highly, the best out there!

We trusted him completely, and he exceeded every expectation we had. He helped guide the flow of the evening, kept everything moving smoothly, and made the entire night feel effortless. He truly understood the vibe we wanted and made it happen perfectly. The music, timing, announcements, and energy were all exactly what we hoped for -- and somehow even better. We received so many compliments from guests about how fun the night was and how great the music was. The dance floor felt alive and was packed the entire night, the transitions were seamless, and the whole evening had such a joyful energy. What we appreciated most was that he made us feel completely taken care of. We could just be present, enjoy our guests, and soak in every moment without worrying about what was coming next. He is truly an expert at what he does, and we are so grateful he was part of our wedding day.

Sam has been my guitar teacher for over a year now. It has been a great experience! He has helped…read moreme learn styles and techniques like basic blues tunes, jazz standards, and even a few classical duets. He regularly shares his insights into applying new strumming and fingerpicking approaches to the songs that I like. He allows me to use my phone to record him performing the material covered. This has been very helpful, to have his audio model to refer to throughout the week. You can expect to get some great material from Sam. Blues riffs sheets were good exercises for me to get started. These are very cool and a blast to play once you've got them down. Sam will listen to you and offer tips for improvement. I also love being able to bring in a sheet of music, which he will then demonstrate how to play, and, better yet, play it with me. It's a kick when he jams with you over a song! Sam is an effective instructor--one day's teaching will keep you busy for an entire week. He is also a gifted performer. When he plays pieces from his own repertoire, they are so expressive and masterful, they will go straight to your heart. Let Sam light your fire and open up a rewarding new world--maybe even inspire you to become a concert level musician like he is. Tip: drill daily at home around the lessons to show fast enough progress to not get discouraged, and also to show appreciation for the attention from such an awesome musician!

It was truly a seamless and enjoyable night for us. The coordination between SGM Events and Barleymash was outstanding--easily one of the best teams we've ever worked with. Enrique was a recommendation by my cousin for musical master-ship at my parents' retirement party…read more Compared to all my other options, he was the best choice both leading up to the party and during! His pricing is quite competitive for a 4 hour evening party at a hall. I was able to make my deposit through Venmo and also remit the final balance that way which was super convenient. He's also very responsive and answered all my questions/emails during the process. DJ EnRoc is very timely and amenable to requests. I let him know the theme was a "Luau" so he showed up dressed to the theme. His dinner music was perfectly appropriate. He worked with our dancers to play their music and when there was a lull in the show he kept up the energy with a good selection of upbeat Hawaiian reggae songs. He also complied with my request of 2 unusual line dance songs and promptly played those as asked. He made announcements to the party as needed. Once the dance floor started going, he had a good line up and mix of Baby Boomer/Generation X songs to keep the energy and floor going. Lastly, he's a great sport and good at what he does! His range can appeal to millennials as well as my 87 year old grandmother. We'll definitely use him again in the future and encourage anyone who wants great, affordable music/lights/ambiance with great quality to book him!

My fiancé is a music junkie, and once he heard one of Misha's and Jason's sets online was done looking for the perfect soundtrack to our night. We sent over some tracks and artists we were grooving on and Misha created an amazing set. He effortlessly blended our style of music in with some more popular songs and read the room like the professional he is. I only left the dance floor twice the entire night (cake cutting and whatnot), the vibe was so perfect. It's easy to play songs, but this was so much more. I highly recommend Jason as well, having the live sax added this crazy unique element that made the evening that much more magical.

I hired Sensational Strings for my wedding in May and they were absolutely phenomenal!! When I…read morefound out that they donate a portion to 3rd world music programs and donate playing time to different organizations, it swayed me to contact them. While watching my wedding video I thought that the videographer had used a CD because the sound quality was exceptional. They showed up early and prepared to my client consultation meeting and the day of my wedding. I wanted my wedding vendors to match the style of my wedding, and they showed up looking classy, professional, and youthful. (Unlike most white hired aged string ensembles). As my situation continued to change and develop they were sweet, flexible and extremely accommodating. They were willing to travel to my out of the way location.. I asked for several non-traditional pieces and they took the time to arrange the songs to fit for my wedding entrance and exit. Pricing wise, they gave me the best deal I could find, and I loved how they opened the door for negotiating the price down stating "We want to fit with your budget needs." I highly recommend Sensational Strings for their music services. Having just graduated with my MBA, I was impressed with their business setup, pricing, marketing availability, and cooperation with our needs. These ladies knocked it out of the ball park through their quality sound in performance, excellent customer intimacy, and their focus for a better world through music.
