I could have gone with 2 or 4 other photographers, but trust me....you won't be disappointed if you go with David. His professionalism was second to none. He replied quickly if I had questions and his attention to detail was fantastic. David was great from start to finish! Don't waste your time seeking out other photographers....thank you David!

Lupe was professional and friendly from start to finish, meeting us in person, offering text/call or Zoom check ins, and helping alleviate this anxious brides little burning questions via email. Lupe even joined us for a walk thru of the venue so we all felt comfortable before the big day. In each interaction, he was charming and easy to be around, as well as knowledgeable in his craft. Come wedding day, Lupe knocked it out of the park with the flow of ceremonies, key announcements that were specific requests from us, as well as helpful ones we wouldn't have thought of. He made sure all family & friends felt comfortable for speeches, he read cues from the room and during dances to make sure all flowed well together, and the entire time, he had the biggest smile on his face! The music was flowing and hyped all night, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience on the dance floor! Not only does Lupe care about his craft, music and artistry, but it's also so clear he genuinely cares about people. Thank you, DJ, can't wait to send future recs your way!

John responds in a timely manner and holds efficient planning calls where he asks all the right questions to prepare for your big day. I was delighted to receive a link to his planning site where I could select songs I wanted to hear and upload my timeline and details. John is highly organized, takes the time to get everything right and clarifies with you if he has any concerns. As far as execution on my wedding day: many of my guests told me it was the best wedding they had ever been to, and this was in large part because of the fantastic DJ'ing and MC'ing. Our dance floor was packed from when it opened til last call. John even did a fantastic job selecting songs with just the vibe I wanted for the dinner portion of the night. Everyone commented on the great music - across all age groups - and had a blast. John even brings fantastic party lights that really get everyone in the mood to dance. On top of that, John is delightful and kind. John also took care of the sound for our ceremony and did a great job making sure our vows were clear on the beach over the sounds of the waves. Hire John for your wedding or big day. You will not regret it.

Great prices and I would hands down hire them again for another event. The ceremony music was perfectly timed, he was flexible when we wanted to change the order of events (first dance), and played all types of music. He brings all equipment necessary, including the table, which was made logistics very easy on me. Steve was also great at MC'ing for us too. My only, very small, complaint was that Garth Brook's "Friends in Low Places" was supposed to be the last song of the evening. Instead it came on earlier in the night (around 9:30pm maybe) and I had a small panic attack thinking our reception was already over. Haha. I laugh when I think about that now. I highly recommend Rock Bottom DJ, Steve did a fantastic job and really added to our event.

Prior to the event, the communication between Steve, Lynne and myself was excellent. Steve graciously provided me with two meetings, one to go over the details of the event and a second one to meet with the venue coordinator to plan the room layout. He was very instrumental in helping me to plan the timeline for my event, offering great suggestions based on his past experience with events like mine. The evening of the event he arrived early and had one more quick rap-session with our event coordinator, another entertainer we had hired, and myself. He had his own lighting and sound system and in addition to that he made sure that the house lighting and sound was set up correctly for the other entertainer, which was a huge help to me! During the dinner portion of the event he played excellent background music, and as MC he kept the dinner flowing. As we proceeded through the night's activities he also kept things rolling smoothly and was an excellent announcer. When it came time to dance at the end of the evening, he spun fun tunes and kept me dancing all night! I highly recommend Rock Bottom DJ to everyone!
