Stop your search and book DC! Dominic and his team are some of the best in the business! We used their DJ (big shoutout to Jason, he was incredible!!!) and videography services. We planned our entire wedding from out of state and they made the process seamless from start to finish. All of our guests (spanning multiple generations) had a great time and were out on the dance floor. The DJ/MC can be one of those wedding items that people push to the side but trust me when I say just how important it is to have an experienced company who listens and understands what you are looking for. Your guests will most likely not remember the florals and linens you obsessed over, what they will remember is having a good time and that begins with the DJ! Four months after our big day and I still watch our wedding video a few times/week because I can't get over how DC captured every moment so perfectly. (Our families were in tears the first time watching it!) Steven worked effortlessly with our photographers and at times I forgot he was there because he was so unobtrusive during those moments you want to be in and enjoy. Please DO NOT hire them. Our wedding was in July 2025, they were an hour late to our wedding and we have yet to recieve our edited photos and videos. It took months of constant communication on our end just to get any raw footage. They do not respond back to any emails, texts or phone calls. There are many many other couples who are currently experiencing the same situation. We are very sad and disappointed. They should be ashamed of the lack of professionalism and dishonesty. read more

DO NOT HIRE!!! We hired DC Events and Design, paid in full prior to our wedding, and were told--both verbally and in our contract--that we would receive our completed photos and videos within 6-8 weeks. On the day of our wedding, we received a brief 1.5-minute video montage. Since then, we have received no additional photos or videos. The day after our wedding (8/23/25), Ernie and Fiona sent an email stating delivery would occur within 8-12 weeks and that previews would be shared within one week. Aside from the short montage that we had already received, those timelines were not met. On October 30, 2025, we received a general email acknowledging significant delays and communication issues. While the message expressed awareness of the problem, we have still received no deliverables, no specific timeline, and no meaningful follow-up. As of today, it has been 17 weeks since our wedding. We have also attempted to schedule and attend a phone appointment with the vendors (most recently on 12/19/25 at 1:45 PM PST), which they did not attend or respond to. Repeated efforts to communicate directly have gone unanswered. read more

We have been extremely disappointed with DC in regard to our photos and videos. We were married in late August. Initial communication promised photos within 8-12 weeks. That would have been early November. It is now mid-December, and we've had zero communication from the company, and no updates on our photos. We were hoping to send them out as Christmas cards, but that obviously isn't happening at this point. Absolutely WOULD NOT recommend. read more

We made the mistake of hiring DC Events and a Design to DJ & Photograph our wedding which took place at the Barns @ Cooper Molera on October 16, 2020. I am writing this to make you think twice before you do the same. At first glance I thought DC would take great care of us, I came on here and saw all the 5 star reviews, and by getting a DJ and photo package it would save us the trouble of dealing with another vendor. Fantastic! We entered into a contract with DC almost a year in advance on 10/17/19, but unfortunately for us they were unable to deliver on their end of the agreement. When we were given the link to view our photos on December 1, 2020 we noticed there was a problem. We didn't see Nicole's parents speech? The speech that we gave.Where was our cake cutting? Our first dance? Father-Daughter Dance? Mother Son Dance? The photos we took with our guests? NONE of them were in the gallery. Confused we reached out to Dominic to inquire about the missing moments. Imagine our shock when he called to inform us that something had happened to their SD card and the photos were GONE. How could they have not noticed this and said something up front? How could they shoot a wedding without a backup card? And HOW would they attempt to make it up to us? After we sternly declined his attempt to reconcile the issue by offering us additional photo albums, Dominic eventually agreed to a 50% refund on our photo services. While we felt the refund should have been paid in full we accepted his offer and wanted to put this behind us. Thankful that we still had some cell phone photos of these moments taken by our guests. Yesterday however, Dominic decided to downplay the loss of the bulk of our reception to a small 15 minute mistake in a comment he made to me on instagram. This of course left me fuming, and as promised this review is a full and accurate account of our experience. Do yourself a favor and do business with someone who values you as a client. My family has been in the wedding industry for over 30 years; we have never met a photographer who doesn't shoot with a backup. ** I really didn't want to include anything positive in this review, but to remain honest Marcus was fantastic as our DJ, and played everything we wanted exactly as we discussed with him. Absolutely do not recommend. We hired Ernie and Fiona for our wedding and deeply regret it. Communication has been abysmal, timelines were completely ignored, and we're still waiting on a finished product we paid for in full. Our wedding was on October 5th, and per the contract, our video was due within 6-8 weeks. We didn't receive anything until January 28th--months late--and even then, it was an incomplete version. We submitted our revision requests the next day (January 29th), as their own email instructed. After that? Silence. We followed up on February 12th and were told it would take a week. Followed up again on February 28th--no response. It is now well into April. We have been more than patient. This has been an exhausting and upsetting process when this should have been a joyful keepsake. Instead, we're left with an unfinished video, no vows or speeches, ignored emails, and a complete lack of professionalism. We are now preparing to take legal action and pursue this through small claims court if we do not receive the final product as contractually agreed upon. Save yourself the stress. Dominic and his team pay such close attention to detail, prior to our big day we spent time going through timeline of events to ensure our photographer could get all the shots we wanted. Grace was our photographer for the day and she was on time and so professional, she is extremely personable and fit right in with our friends and family. We received a sneak peek within a week of our wedding and all our photos in less than a month. Grace's editing is beautiful and we loved the natural light in all our photos, she was so great at giving instructions for posing. Dominic the owner of the business was very responsive to our emails and relieved our worries regarding Covid-19. We originally wanted videography only from DC but our original wedding photographer from another business told us she could no longer photograph our wedding. I asked Dominic if he had a photographer available for our date and he was able to make it happen! Dominic was also flexible to my requests for hour changes. A week before the wedding he let us fill out a list of shots that we absolutely need from the wedding. Our photographer was Drew and videographer, Brandon. Both were great! My husband and I were convinced we did not need or want videography of our wedding. Sounds really silly right? Thankfully our married friends convinced us otherwise! We found DC Events & Design after watching what felt like hours of wedding videos online. We picked a video randomly on their site and as luck would have it, it was actually a video of a wedding at our venue. We were absolutely blown away by the quality and the cinematography. This "wedding" video could have easily passed for a silver screen movie trailer. We watched a few more videos and we were certain we had struck gold. We knew we had found the one after chatting with the owner Dominic who was warm, thoughtful and professional. We choose their midrange package to receive a highlight reel of the day and added an extra hour of videography to accommodate the timeline of our festivities. The entirety of the booking and payment processes were easy and we never had any trouble getting a hold of Dominic for questions. We had the pleasure of having Steven Darling video our actual wedding day and he was everything you could want and more! He worked hand in hand with our photographers and was thoughtful of his presence throughout the day. He took a variety of shots and angles for the day and even broke out a drone for aerial footage. We received our wedding video 6 weeks after our wedding which is an amazing turnaround. There is no better way to describe it than to say that it was perfect. If we can offer any advice for your wedding: get videography, a highlight reel is the perfect way to big day and of course: go with DC. read more

He did an amazing job accommodating all of our music choices and clearly worked hard to make our day a very special one. My husband and I just got married last night at Rancho Canada in Carmel and I'm already writing a review for DC Events and Design because they were just that awesome. Dominic was my videographer and he was so amazing to work with. I have heard SUCH great things, but yesterday I truly experienced what a talented guy he is. He was there for every moment..capturing even the small things that I know I will cherish later in our Highlights Video. He was so sweet..listened to what I wanted..made sure everything was as I wanted..and was so smooth in all the video shots as to not "disturb" the moments I had with my bridesmaids, mom, maid of honor, etc. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone looking for a videographer. I personally got the platinum package and I'm so happy I did. Because of Dominic I'll have the best day of my life to look back on forever and ever. Our DJ was Brian. He was so so so great!!! He, like Dominic, listened to what I wanted, explained our wedding reception timeline so well, kept my reception so that it ran smooth and flawless. He played all our songs. Wow, where do I even start?! Well, we hired Dominic to do our videography, but after I realized that he was capable of doing videography, a Photo Booth, and a DJ, we were sold! Dominic and I spend quite a bit of time on the phone, during our first conversation, and he asked questions that really allowed him to get a feel for what we were looking for in a videographer. I sent him several sample videos, and I told him my likes and dislikes, as far as wedding videos go. He was able to beautifully execute everything I requested, and he really went above and beyond to make this experience as memorable and effortless as possible. Dominic was climbing on couches, crouching in the dirt, running up and down stairs, and all with a brilliant smile on his face. All of my guests raved about his dedication, professionalism, and charisma, and Dominic even provided me with a recommendation for a wedding singer named Mark Banks (for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner), and MY GOD we were blown away. Upon the receipt of my wedding video, I felt this sense of completion and overwhelming joy. He really listened to everything that I said, and the final product was just utter perfection. I also received a slow motion video of all the madness in the Photo Booth, which I have watched at least 20 times in the last 3 days. HILARIOUS! The photo booth itself was AWESOME, and trust me, my hubby and I are Photo Booth veterans, and this booth beat them all out by a land slide. The clarity, lighting, props, and attendant were all wonderful, and the prints we received are plastered all over our refrigerator. Brent was our DJ, and I was soooooo pleased with him! He was very professional, kind, attentive, and polite. He kept us on track with our timeline, without ever interrupting a conversation, or "bothering" me. He played all the songs we liked, and the correspondence I had with him, prior to the wedding night, was professional and detailed. I HIGHLY recommend him! Overall, DC Events and Design really made my big day extra special. Dominic has fabulous ideas, and a creative eye that really helped pull everything together in such a magical and whimsical way. DC Events and Design did an amazing job for us from start to finish. They started out by giving us great suggestions on venues that they had been to in the past then took care of our engagement photos. Cole was a trooper and hiked around Garlin Park, he was patient and made the session fun and enjoyable. (especially for a guy that doesn't like his photo taken). We got the photos back earlier than they originally quoted and they were amazing. DC Events and Design also handled our wedding photos, video and DJ services. Cole was again great and seemed to get the perfect pictures. After the ceremony and family and bridal party photos were done, I honestly forgot that they were there through the entire reception. They did a wonderful job at getting the best photos and not being intrusive. We got our photos on time as promised and they were magical. Brian was our DJ and he did an awesome job. We had a lot of songs from different genres that we wanted played and he blended them all in seamlessly. His communication and attention to detail was perfect. Our video came out great and watching it in HD is awesome. They caught the best moments of the entire night. Pictures are wonderful but the video is something I will cherish forever. (Get the video, you will regret it if you don't) I am so glad we chose DC Events and Design. When we were selecting a videographer for our wedding, I watched a lot of really bad videos and then I found DC Events and Design. They had a large selection of their work online and I watched every one and fell more and more in love with their work. Each video was perfect and unique to the couple. From the first email with Dominic, I knew he was a rockstar. He was very quick to respond to my numerous questions, professional, knowledgeable, and very friendly. Although I had never met Dominic in person before the big day, I felt like I was inviting a trusted friend to film our wedding. They were very accommodating to our needs and our budget. We did a highlight video of the wedding and Dominic suggested taking 5 minutes to stage our getting ready shots - and you would never know watching the video. I loved that special touch that really highlighted the special moment with my mother, sister, and my best friends getting ready. From that point on, I only remember seeing Dominic twice when filming. It was magic to then watch the video because he was there for everything. He blended in, and guests who watch the video where shocked they hadn't noticed him! My favorite parts of the video are that he caught all the little details - the things that brides obsess over for months and months planning, the flowers, the table decorations, the venue - I have it forever captured beautifully on film. I cannot thank him enough for that. I trusted Dominic to do what he does best and he did just that - everything from the editing, panning shots, music selected was perfect. He captured our love, our very special day and all of our friends and family enjoying it with us. I keep watching the video over and over and know I will for years to come. We hired DC Events and Design for photography and videography for our small wedding in July 2021, and Dominic and his team were everything we hoped for. Prior to the wedding, they asked for the key shots and moments we wanted to capture and we're happy to report they got them all and so much more. On the day of, the photographers helped us coordinate with the wedding party and other attendees to capture group photos, and helped us find good spots to do photos as the married couple.
