He didn't hover over me or try to sell me things I didn't need, and when I came to the counter he even offered me a less expensive product that he felt was better performing! Their paint samples section has a chair and table where you can sit and plan your color schemes and it's near a window so you can view the samples in natural light. I would definitely recommend this small local store to a friend over the big chain stores like Home Depot any day!

The staff--Kevin & Noah--were both incredibly helpful. The not only helped us pick out colors/best paint type, they were able to scan and match a chip we peeled off of a door frame (per their suggestion at our first visit) for touch-up painting, which saved us a lot of time and hassle. Service was friendly and truly hard to beat. Location itself is a nice place to shop--new and immaculate. They even have a Keurig station for free coffee/tea (and a nice water cooler) for while you wait, which I certainly availed myself of as they were mixing up our paint. One thing to keep in mind is that I thought it seemed a smidge pricier than other larger/chain/paint shops (of course, it's been a while since we painted, so perhaps that's just normal now). Was helped by a guy who clearly did not want to work, and who made me feel that helping me out was really a big favor on his part. (At one point I even saw him roll his eyes to another sales person, after I asked if exterior paint would be a better idea for my furniture project). Home Depot in the city will not cut lumber, and Lowe's in Brooklyn won't cut lumber as small as I needed it. This place had perfectly cut planks, $2 each. The staff was friendly, eating breakfast as I was making my transaction but helpful nonetheless. Plus it's in walking distance! I'm not sure I'd recommend traveling for this shop.

And I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. If the paint job was over a year old then I'd understand the quality changing but it's not even a year yet. I'm going to have to repaint every floor with new paint. Unfortunately we used it on multiple floors. Costly and a waste of time.
