Doesn't look like much, but this chicken and dumpling soup was really tasty.

WELL, I should have taken the previous reviewer's advice and NOT gone with the Walleye. I figured, it's been a year now, maybe they have improved. Nope. I just cannot recommend the broiled walleye, under any circumstance. It was not good. The texture was off, it was bony, and as others mentioned before, I don't think it was even really Walleye. Lesson learned I guess! The salad bar was pretty good. Everything was fresh. The chicken and dumpling soup was REALLY tasty! I had two bowls of this to make up for my non-edible fish. The twice baked potato is fantastic. Of all the things I tried, I would absolutely recommend this. Service was... meh. Our server was sweet enough, but she was slow at getting to us, slow at refilling drinks, slow at.. everything. It struck me odd that upon finishing our meals, she didn't inquire as to why I had eaten half of only 1 of the 4 fish filets on my plate. Oh well. There is also a weird "zoo" type thing behind the restaurant. I guess they are privately owned animals and treated more like pets, but they still draw a crowd. Mixed feelings on this. Not a zoo fan personally. But, as long as they are treated well and happy, I can't say too much. Overall - this place is, in a word - weird.

Salad bar open. No one servers, hostess, table clearers had a mask on

I was ignored and treated rudely. I'm guessing because I was wearing a mask and literally NO ONE but me was wearing a mask. Took three calls to even place an order got home and it was wrong. Not a place I would ever go again.

"Walleye" aka pike and NOT what we typically think tastes like walleye plus boney. Plus grocery store frozen vegetables.

DO NOT order Walleye unless you like pike!!! Three of us ordered this and were very disappointed because we were expecting what the menu said was "walleye." This fish did not taste good and it was boney. The vegetables that came with the fish tasted like what we buy in the frozen section at the grocery store. I recommend the restaurant changes this since it was pretty disappointing. Order the perch for fish instead. This was a much better fish option. Also, it would be nice if they did not have a fried option only. Double baked potato was good. Chicken soup was too salty. There is no beer menu which I thought was odd. Also, I personally think the sequence vests need to go. This is a nice looking restaurant and should not have thier staff wear casino vests.... Staff was friendly, however service was slow for how long it took food to come out. Overall it was a good place to come to if you are not in a rush.

    King Crab Legs

Went for dinner at 7 on a Sunday night. We ordered drinks at the bar, received the wrong drink. Order our food shortly after. I ordered King Crab legs, I was informed price had been raised to $65 dollars! I asked the waitress if they were worth and she recommended them, so I did it. We got our table and went to the salad bar, which was great. After we finished our salads our waitress asked if we knew it was a long wait for our food, which we responded we had not been informed when ordering. Ordered another round of drinks and once again received the incorrect drink. At 9:10 we received our food and what a disappointment. My $65 crab legs were a joke. There were 2 half claws on my plate, but one of the claws was void of any meat. If you cannot deliver, take this off your menu! I may get screwed over once, but not twice.

Overpriced, loud place now. I really enjoyed Anellos before but the changes they have made haven't really helped make it a more enjoyable dining experience. There were really drunk loud people in the bar that then came in the dining room. One dipped his cracker in the cheese spread, ate it, then dipped the cracker again. So gross. I told he waitress who didn't care. They charge 4% on credit cards which is a little ridiculous in 2018. The food was good but not good enough for the price.

Good food and drinks. Only downside is how noisy the dining area is. Salad bar is good with two soup offerings.

Ambiance: cute, cozy and intimate lighting which is perfect date night vibe and there were still some bigger parties accommodated. Arrived and it was packed and still not very noisy. Service: Nick was awesome! Knowledgeable, friendly and personable. There's a level of pride in the work that he does that screams unreasonable hospitality (IYKYK) and paced my courses out beautifully. Wine recommendation was on point and attention to others didn't lapse. All tables felt his presence. Food: House salad was easily the best red wine vinaigrette that I've ever had. The garlic was the perfect kick. Scallops appetizer were sweet and perfectly cooked through and the spinach/basil cream sauce that was under and surrounded the dish was amazing (and I don't or at least didn't think I liked basil!). For dinner I hate the halibut and mushroom risotto which was cooked to perfection. The risotto does have onions which I missed and didn't care for but they took care and offered me a separate bed which I thought was incredibly nice. For dessert I had the chocolate cake which was delicious. Coffee/espresso hints and perfect texture of cake to filling. I will be back for sure!

I didn't take a picture of my pasta but got the red sauce rigatoni which is always my favorite. Rich, creamy, with al dente pasta and fresh mozzarella. Service was great and food came very quick. They now charge for bread which is disappointing when it used to be free. Regardless can't go wrong with anything here, so good!

I've been meaning to come here for a while and have heard rave reviews from friends and family. I…read morewas happy to hear that my wife secured reservations for us and another couple to try the restaurant out for the first time. Being the former Basil restaurant space, the interior is more intimate, darkly lit and a sure romantic spot for date night. The waitress was prompt and helpful selecting drinks off of their menu, inclusive of wine, beer and craft cocktails. Everyone at our table ordered a different drink or glass of wine and there were no complaints. For appetizers I ordered a bruschetta, which was served on a very crispy slice of seasoned bread. What was interesting was that the tomato topping (which was perfectly seasoned with basil, garlic and other spices) was served in a bowl on the side to allow everyone to top to their taste preference. It was a nice touch. We also sampled the cheese curds, which held up well to our Wisconsin standards, and a soup which I can't remember the name of but got high marks. Now for the main course. I was not expecting to be mind blown, by my god. The namesake dish, the Osso Bucco, was absolutely phenomenal. The veal was literally falling off of the bone and was easily, effortlessly separated with a fork. I have rarely had meat this tender. On the other side of the bowl was a fantastic risotto and a perfectly seasoned stew of carrots and onions. I did not indulge in the bone marrow, but I have heard it is a delicacy. Altogether this dish was worth every penny, and I will absolutely be having it again. To finish off this fantastic meal we opted for the tiramisu, which was elegantly plated in a creative manner I have never before seen. I enjoyed the wonderful ending to this delicious meal, and when you visit this restaurant I'm sure you will too.

I had the seafood stew, and it was quite underwhelming; it was more of an under-seasoned pasta dish. The bay scallops and shrimp were pretty tough and overcooked, BUT whatever whitefish was in the dish was outstanding. My hubby had a Caesar salad and the scallops entree. Both were wonderfully executed. The dressing on the salad was the perfect amount, lettuce crisp, and just plainly done well. And the scallops were perfect. Elaboration would take away from what was just 'muah.' :) Server was attentive, but not overly pushy. Ambiance was low key, quiet, and warm.
