    I just picked up my new car that Jeff and Drilon helped me order, and I'm absolutely over the moon happy. Yes the car is great, but the customer care, excellent follow up, eagerness to answer all of my tedious questions and absolute professionalism of the entire team has made this experience better than a dream. I drove 60 miles to work with this group, and I am so glad that I made the trip! Thanks to you all, and Jeff, I already felt like an expert behind the wheel this morning after your thorough tutorial yesterday.

    I brought my truck to Moore Tires for oil and brake work. They said the ECM was bad and had it…read moretowed to Sterling Chevrolet for replacement. Over the next two weeks, the truck was towed back and forth between Moore Tires and Sterling Chevrolet multiple times for ECM programming and brake work. I paid Sterling Chevrolet $2,267 to replace the ECM and one caliper, hose and fluid, but the truck was now not drivable -- hard shifting, idle issues. During this process, the truck sustained driver-side body damage at one of the locations (Sterling police report filed), with repair estimates between $3,100 and $3,800. I first noticed the damage while it was at Sterling Chevrolet, but neither shop noticed or has admitted responsibility and Sterling Chevrolet has NO parking lot video. I later reinstalled my original ECM myself and the truck ran fine, proving their diagnosis and replacement were unnecessary. Sterling Chevrolet agreed to refund the $2,267 in exchange for a release, but more than two weeks later I have received neither the release nor the refund, despite repeated follow-ups. They never follow up and charge credit card fees, sad excuse for humans

I have always been treated well and felt like a preferred customer (in spite of being just a pretty average consumer.) All service needs my vehicles required were taken care of promptly. All questions I had were answered fully...never experienced "manspeak" ...in a venue where it could abound! Like this company very much!

However what occurred to day put me at ease and also managed to be a good stroke of luck with a 2016 Mazda CX3, the pleasant surprises did not end there, they where also ridiculously fast but in the best ways and very professional, and waiting for my arrival when I arrived, so good that while I was skeptical going in I would easy recommend them to any one after today, and that is something I never thought I would say. He was helping me find exactly what I was looking for and then he began to appear as irritated as I asked more questions. I told him I needed to call my wife first and he seemed very annoyed by that. Then as I asked more questions he told me "this isn't rocket science." and it seemed he was more interested in making a sale than helping me find something suitable. I told him I'm elderly and I need a car that is accessible enough for me and my wife but he sort of chuckled. He then told me he's helped me to the best he could but he really didn't. I ended up walking out and taking my business elsewhere. Never in my life have I witnessed someone so unprofessional. Thank you Michael for the terrible service!

    I searched Cars.com and found a desired vehicle at Bocker Auto Group in Freeport, IL…read more Unfortunately, the dealer was located an hour and a half drive from my home. I called and asked if the car was still available, and the receptionist politely connected me with the sales manager, Gary. The car was available, and he said he would have it ready for inspection whenever I arrived. Upon my arrival, the lady at the service desk cordially escorted me to meet the sales manager who in turn introduced me to Marvin Allen, his sales representative. Marvin was the most pleasant and personable car salesperson I had ever met. He showed me to the car which was parked directly outside of the showroom, allowed for an extended test-drive, and upon returning to the dealership, patiently described in detail the history and all of the features of the vehicle. And, when it came to including and dealing with my trade-in, a more-than-fair offer was presented and accepted. During my visit, I was also introduced to the owner and interfaced with other sales representatives. In my honest opinion, everyone was exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. If you happen to find a used vehicle that you're interested in at Bocker Auto Group and want an unbelievably great purchasing experience, go there and ask for Marvin. Personally, it was well worth the trip, especially while I was driving back home in my newly purchased SUV as a truly satisfied customer.
