Over the next two weeks, the truck was towed back and forth between Moore Tires and Sterling Chevrolet multiple times for ECM programming and brake work. I paid Sterling Chevrolet $2,267 to replace the ECM and one caliper, hose and fluid, but the truck was now not drivable -- hard shifting, idle issues. During this process, the truck sustained driver-side body damage at one of the locations (Sterling police report filed), with repair estimates between $3,100 and $3,800. I first noticed the damage while it was at Sterling Chevrolet, but neither shop noticed or has admitted responsibility and Sterling Chevrolet has NO parking lot video. I later reinstalled my original ECM myself and the truck ran fine, proving their diagnosis and replacement were unnecessary. Sterling Chevrolet agreed to refund the $2,267 in exchange for a release, but more than two weeks later I have received neither the release nor the refund, despite repeated follow-ups. They never follow up and charge credit card fees, sad excuse for humans

I have always been treated well and felt like a preferred customer (in spite of being just a pretty average consumer.) All service needs my vehicles required were taken care of promptly. I was told they found one with 88,000 miles or for $500 more one with 62,00O miles. I said the lower mileage engine. They said it would be in in 2 days. It took 4 days. Then they called and said the engine looked good but it was a 3.0 out of a Cadillac not a Captiva. It would cost me 5 more hours of labor to put it in. They had it 2 weeks before it was done. 2 weeks later the Captiva breaks down and I have it towed in to Ken Nelson. It has a broken front axle shaft. It was delivered to them Monday afternoon. I called them Friday did not hear from them until Tuesday a week later and find out what's wrong with my Captiva. They had it 2 weeks again. Then I noticed it has a major exhaust leak right behind the engine. I took it in at 915 am to fix it. I was there until noon. They had reused the gasket instead of putting a new one in Jeremy said it was his call. When I finally got my Captiva no one said I'm sorry it took so long. I did not get charged for this repair but I guess my almost 3 hours of item and having to cancel my client wasn't that important to them. I also have a eco button that is not working but was working when I took it in to have engine replaced. I have to take it back again to get that fixed. Jeremy said it would be no charge for this to be fixed. They had my Captiva for 4 weeks. I am greatly disappointed in their service. I took it to a dealership expecting a higher caliber of service. Especially at$115 per hour.
