2+2+2 French toast, eggs, sausage
RoseMarie H.

Love this little diner. Food made to order. French toast is very good soft and moist, smoked sausage gives the lumberjack taste. Overall a really good breakfast spot. I ordered take out the dining area is small.

Ain't nothing better than being hung over on a Saturday morning and craving carbs to soak up the booze. Not this Saturday. I found myself up early with the birds hungry for worms so i headed over to Dixon diner were they have never let me down yet! It was packed(usually every Sat and sun morning) so i got bfast to go. With a kitchen as small as one in a studio apartment, they somehow manage to get the food out on time and hot! My fav is the bfast bowl or pretty much anything with a side of Hunters potatoes. Pls do yourself a favor and stop on in. Friendly staff all the way around.

Burned corn beef hash

Wrote down order and they still got it completely wrong. Even burnt my food. Most places will offer to replace it free at a future date, no the cashier said i had to bring order all the way back then wait another 20mins for replacement, even offered to send in pictures of burnt corn beef hash. After taking off burnt pieces was left with 2 spoons of edible hash.

Came here on a Saturday afternoon. This is definitely a hole in the wall. I meant in the middle of the parking lot because that's where this small diner is located. I grew up here and I've never taken the time to stop in for anything. Just the day before I was asking the guys in the barbershop where are the good burger places in the area (just in case I overlooked a few places) and a few ppl mentioned this place. But anyway, this place has a small country diner feel to it. The staff was friendly. I was immediately greeted by the young lady behind the counter when I walked through the door. Saw the bacon cheeseburger on the menu, put in my order to go, and it was cooked right in front of me. Also, came with a side of non-wrinkle fries with a smooth touch of seasoning. Can't beat it for $8. This may not be a gourmet hamburger with the bakery bun, different unique toppings, etc... but it was a good old fashioned handmade hamburger. The taste of the meat was a little bland for me. Perhaps seasoning the burger with some sea salt and other seasonings, along with a fresh bakery bun. The meat may have been ground chuck 85/15 because it wasn't as greasy as 80/20. A few minor changes as I mentioned would easily bring this burger to 4 stars. However, I would give it 3.5 stars. But 4 stars overall because the prices are affordable, nice staff, and this place has having that old school country diner feel.

I've eaten at a lot of restaurants in my life, but nothing compares to the experience we had. Yes,…read morethe food was phenomenal. Yes, the ambiance was perfect. But let's be honest: this place runs on one thing and one thing only, Josh. From the moment we sat down, Josh didn't just "serve" our table. He orchestrated it. The man moves like a hospitality ninja. Water glasses never dropped below the halfway mark. Empty plates disappeared as if teleported. He anticipated our needs before we even knew we had them. At one point, I casually considered ordering another drink, and somehow Josh was already walking toward the table with it. Telepathy? Probably. When we asked for recommendations, he didn't just list menu items, he delivered a passionate, Oscar-worthy monologue about flavor profiles, textures, and life-changing sauces. We ordered exactly what he suggested, and I'm convinced my taste buds ascended to a higher plane. If Josh told me to try something I've sworn I'd never eat, I'd trust him without hesitation. The food itself? Incredible. Perfectly cooked, beautifully plated, and clearly crafted with care. But somehow it all tasted better because Josh brought it to the table. I'm not saying he seasoned it personally... but I'm also not ruling it out. He handled a packed dining room with the calm confidence of someone who was born for this. Other servers were great but it was hard to notice anyone else while witnessing Josh in his element. It felt less like dinner and more like watching a masterclass in hospitality. By the end of the night, we weren't just satisfied customers, we were Josh fans. If this restaurant has any sense, they'll put his face on the menu, the sign, maybe even the building. Five stars for the food. Five stars for the atmosphere. Ten stars for Josh. We'll absolutely be back, mostly to see Josh.
