On friday, my electrical headmast (the pole where the electricity line comes into your home) rusted out and fell over. I called FKEC to let them know. They showed up within 40 minutes. Looked at the fallen mast and suggested to have the power cut off from my home for safety. Which they did immediately. We discussed how to repair this and they suggested I speak to one of the local Electricicians in Key Largo. I had done business before with Wire Nuts and called their emergency line. I think it's Steve's wife who answered and immediately got with Steve and he was on his way. Within another 30-40 minutes Steve was here (on Friday at 8:30pm) to review the issue. Assess the repair. He felt comfortable that his team would be able to fix it on Saturday and he confirmed it Saturday morning at 7:45am. By 8:10am his crew was working to repair the fallen electrical mast and under the beating sun got it done by 1pm. KLEC came in within 35minutes of my calling them and set up the power. I had electricity to my home by 2pm in less than 24 hours from when a major issue occurred and all because people are responsive and care about the folks they serve. My sincerest appreciation to FKEC and Steve at Wire Nuts for being great neighbors!!

The mechanics were working on about three cars, two of which (mine included) posed some diagnostic problems. The conversations reflected a serious level of professionalism and a genuine interest in figuring out what was going on. On top of that, I received honest advice. My car doesn't have a long time to live and, indeed, will be unsafe to drive before long. The mechanic told me not to put much more money into the car and to have it looked at frequently for safety reasons. He also discounted the cost because the results of a diagnostic test were unclear. I was treated with professionalism and courtesy, as were the other customers who came through.

My biggest problem was the customer service. The mechanic (whose first language was not English) had problems locating the proper jack fitting for my Tesla. Then he claimed that the tire could not be repaired. It was a simple plug fix but he wanted to either patch or replace the tire. It was only resolved when a manager became involved. Very nice lady manning the front desk but again seemed confused. Might be a one off but I probably would not recommend if other options are available.
