4/13/23- ordering a collection of goodness here with no requirement to order a minimum of 1 full meal per person. Several photos of the inside. More to come. Good from Nepal. They have a large 5 feet tall by 10 foot painting in the wall. Looks great. Total of 5 stars. Very customer service. Naan bread was good as well. Would suggest coming here for the good food and service. It's 1:30pm and packed in here which is a great sign as well. See the business card for location as well. Best

Best Indian food I've ever had. It's a bit small inside so you might be close to the other tables but it's worth it. We got there right at 5pm and got seated right away.

Yum! This is a must if you're in Dublin. The food was amazing and the staff were wonderful and attentive. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu it's all delicious. Make sure to try the tiger beer with your dinner!

The food was delicious but the service was neglectful and sometimes unfriendly. Presumably they were busy and understaffed. Maybe get it as takeout/takeaway.

    Momos

We got to Diwali just in time. Got seated right away and the server was great. Then boom, the place was full, but the service was still great. The momos were so delicious. I could have eaten three more servings. My lamb dish was delicious too. I'll definitely eat here again

I came here on a Friday night with some coworkers. The owner told us it would be a 15 minute wait but we ended up waiting outside for about 45 minutes. It's quite cold in Dublin so I was not pleased at all. The restaurant is also quite small. We were very cramped and basically encroaching on the next table. Oops! The staff is pretty nice. I guess they knew we were waiting for so long so we did get some free food and flaming shots out of the whole experience. I got one of the korma dishes. It was not bad! It was a bit sweeter than I expected (probably because they added rose water?) and it was a bright yellow. I would eat it again though. I probably wouldn't wait over 30 minutes next time though.

We had onion bhaji and veggie samosas to start, then two spicy Nepalese lamb curries with mushroom rice and naan bread for mains.

Being an American I've heard plenty about how South Asian cuisine is better across the pond. Being…read morea fan of Asian food in general I was determined to try Indian cuisine at least once during my trip. Considering how expensive it is to eat in Dublin and considering how close this was to my hotel I had this twice and was impressed with my food both times! The restaurant space is quite small to eat in and most of their orders are for takeaway. The plastic containers used for takeaway is quite sturdy and I'd be reusing them again if I was a local. Service was great. They threw in a single piece of veggie samosa for good measure as a typical order comes in a set of 3. They even put in a little chutney sauce for dipping. There's plenty of potato and some peas in the samosa. I ordered one chicken and one lamb dish. I love spicy curries so I ordered the curries that come naturally spicy. The curries are made to order so expect at least a 10 minute wait while they cook your dish. - Chicken Madras (Curry from southern coast of India cooked with fresh coconut and curry leaves, €10.50). Madras is a British interpretation of curry found in South India. It is red due to the chili powder and there's usually a "milk" base to it, similar to Thai curries. The chicken pieces are big and there's plenty of curry left over to finish the rice. - Lamb Jalfrezi (Stir-fried lamb with onions, peppers and tomato flavoured with carom seeds, Stir-fried lamb with onions peppers and tomato flavoured with carom seeds, €11.50). Jalfrezi is Indian-Chinese made spicy because the meat is cooked usually with green peppers and onions. This dish was properly spicy and there's a good amount of lamb meat. There was enough curry left over to finish the rice. This was made by the suggestion of a local who overheard me asking for a recommendation for preferred lamb curries as I had chicken. This is reasonably priced comfort food considering how expensive it can be to eat out in Dublin. If this were in the US this would easily be my go-to place for Indian food to go.

Everything we tried was super tasty, the spices were balanced, the presentation was great, and not too spicy for our pallet. Chicken Biryani rice (€29.9), with a bready top that was taken off by the server, side of yogurt, side of masala sauce. Super tasty dish 10/10. Potato cake appetizer (€13.5), super tasty, it was topped with complementary sauces, well balanced between savory, sour, and tart. Excellent appetizer. Puri Chaat? (€15), They didn't list it on the menu, I asked for it and the chef was nice enough to create it for me. Super tasty and not too spicy We also go the slow cooked Wicklow lamb to go (€28.5), the meat was super tender, the flavors were excellent, some of the best Indian flavored lambs I've ever tried. The price for two people without drinks is (€104.65), which is on the pricy side, but the flavors and experience was worth it. All in all, I tried this place about 6 years ago and it was great and I tried it again and they still kept their high quality tasty food. Definitely recommend

Well.. I do say…read more. That was simply the best meal I've had out in donkeys years. Truly the dogs pyjamas. It's no wonder it's in the Michelin guide, no Burger King or kebab Princesses here, let me tell ye. Not the usual 3 in 1 I got for, but this night was a special occasion.. a celebration of love and good fortune of which I am eternally grateful. A ham sanger and a wank would not suffice this Valentines Day to be sure to be sure. I brought my love through the open legs of Ananda and up to her warm bosom for an Indian embrace. All in after a tamarind cocktail to lube us up for an evening of meat slapping and spicey divilment. It was Saint Valentines birthday, after all.. Another entrée young Rajesh! We were here to spend. I had just landed a new high paying role with a formidable company and was in a feckless mindset brought on by the sexual ambience and perky nature of my lover. The service was uplifting, they hilariously all wait patiently about 2 foot away so as not to intrude and wait to be called, even though they know exactly when ye need another cocktail. Lol. Makes you feel like a real (Burger) King summoning his servants to dispose of your freshly filled nappies. Another tequila young squire! The food..a delight for all the senses, "tudo perfeito," my luscious Latin lady would later go on to whisper in my ear at the nightly climax. Usually, I'd fill a doggy bag to bring home for Max, but on this occasion, we left the plates emptier than a french synagogue in 1943. Massive portions busting with more spice than the brasserie in front of me around my wifes neck desperately trying to secure in her enormous tits. Fuck! And the dessert? Awf.. shtap. It was like sucking the Easter rabbits nipples drizzled in chocolate syrup. Take my money! I demand to pay! And pay we did. Then, a quick nip to the ol' head for a pipe squirt and a tingley poop as per usual after a west End Indian, not this time, though. Even my farts smelled like freshly cooked rosewater, cinnamon, and saffron biscuits. Needless to say.. when we got home, I took my partner's unmentionables off one leg at a time, persevered, sweated, and reached the tunnel of solitude until.. ugh.. silent grace and a peaceful dawn befell unto me, and we reached a sense of true oneness. Thank you, Mr Ananda, for more than just a meal, a new outlook on existence itself. For you I will gladly sleep in a wet patch.

During our research before we left we saw a video talking about Bunsen. Just seeing the high quality of the ingredients made it one of our must try stops in Dublin. As we do when traveling, we start and end the day eating throughout the day. We popped into Bunsen to finally try the legendary burger around 4:30 pm. Because we were there at such an odd hour, we were the only people there. When you visit Ireland, the pub culture is real and most pubs start to get quite busy around 5:30 pm. Since Bunsen isn't a pub and wasn't located in a particularly touristy area , it didn't surprise me they were empty at that time of day. What stuck out the most at first was the super friendly service right from the door. We were sat at a small banquet of tables against the wall and checked out the menu from QR code link on the table. We were there for their original burger so that is what we ordered. No sides and water to drink. I couldn't be filling up too much yet. It was pretty early after all and we had a lot of places to stop yet. The menu isn't huge. They focus on doing one thing well and keep it at that. I like a restaurant that doesn't try to be everything. Our burger came out within 10 min and it was juicy, hot and fresh. Presented beautifully wrapped. We shared this one burger because, we knew we had lots of food to eat later. Immediately after eating the last bite I wanted to order another. It was really that good. Such perfection! This will be the burger I compare all others in Ireland to.
