A friend referred us to Sherm's and Tim sent Andrew over the next morning to Bernards Landing where we were staying to diagnose and repair the boat in short order. We were able to continue enjoying our vacation on the water AND I didn't have to worry about how I was getting the boat to a ramp to get it home to NC either!!! If you are vacationing or full time resident and need a shop be sure to check out Sherm's

I don't care how long this guy has been in business. The lake should have filled them in as well…read more Tim is not to be trusted. He damaged my boat costing me 10,000$. I think he did it on purpose. He did not sell my boat in 2023, listing it as having 1360 hrs when it only has 136rs. A boat doesn't just brake by sitting there. It had not been out on the lake since 2022. I had no issues with it.Tim winterized then summarized it. A week later after Tim summarized, I had another company pick up the boat. But they couldn't turn the boat on because the power switch was cracked off. The screen was blue and the power module had a little electronic piece that was broke with the feet bent.

I come here pretty often like at least once a week. I'll list the pros and cons and try to be as…read moreinformative as a customer. Pros- -One of the largest indoor range at max 100 yards for rifle and 25 yards for pistol. -Friendly Knowledgeable sales staff that can help you answer any questions regarding firearms. Not to mention everyone there is passionate about the 2A. -The range facility is pretty modern and clean. -Good selection of rental guns and ammo to purchase. -You can get your CHP class requirements along with other qualifications here. -This store is able to accept class 3 NFA transfers. So you can pick up your SBRs and Suppressors here. Along with doing all of the necessary paperwork. Cons- -The prices for services such as FFL transfers and range use is slightly more compared to others. Also a lot of items such as ammo and some guns you can definitely get cheaper elsewhere. -Gunsmithing services wait times regardless of work will take about 4-8+ weeks. Unless you absolutely need an expert I encourage you to attempt the job yourself. If you end up blowing up your firearm you'll need a professional regardless. -Gun selection in store for purchase can seem limited. The online store has more selection but I'd encourage you to come in or call before buying it online to verify stock. -Communication can definitely be better when it comes to informing customer about their transfers or any issue regarding appointments. Overall it's a decent place for firearm related activities. You really don't have much options though. But just know that this place can be busy therefore if you come at such time it may feel you're being neglected.

The center was clean and it wasn't too loud like other centers I've been to in the past. They offer Monday specials and other special events. Good music. Affordable skate rental and laser tag, arcade and play zone equipment for younger children. The snack bar is affordable. We will definitely be back for the next homeschool skate and are so grateful they are willing to sponsor such a great event for homeschooled children in the valley.

Located on Orange Ave in Roanoke, Virginia, with its main shop in Grandin Village, this bike shop…read moreoffers a wide selection of new and used bikes, as well as the very popular electric bikes, bike parts, biking accessories, such as helmets, wardrobe, backpacks, waterbottles, bike computers, sunglasses, among other bike related items. Besides their bike sales with competitive prices, and complimentary tune-ups after purchase, they also provide quick and efficient bike repairs for various issues, including flat tires and broken hubs. But besides the vast selection of bikes to choose from and efficient service, I was highly impressed by their knowledgeable and friendly staff who offer excellent guidance and attentive service to all who enter their shop. I was able to meet with the person in charge of sales, a young and friendly gentleman with an amiable personality, who has been with Cardinal Bicycle for over five years. He was very helpful in showing me around and explaining their available products and services they currently have available. And I was able to observe him deal with other customers who came in while I was their. One in particular was a gentleman who came in with a beautiful blue bicycle he had bought from there years ago, had sold it, and then after a few years, bought it back from the person he had sold it to. From looking at the bike, I could see why he had missed it. It was amazingly beautiful. He had brought it in for a tune-up, right after having bought it back from the person he had sold it to. I invite you to view my photographs and videos accompanying this review to get a better sense of the place, its merchandise, and even the people which I have mentioned in this review. Roanoke, Virginia, being the Mountain Bike Capital of the East Coast, not only has many local bike lovers, but also many tourists from all over the world who come to visit for the great biking opportunities that this region provides. The region hosts prestigious competitions such as the USA Cycling Endurance Mountain Bike National Championships. It also prides itself of having vast trail networks. Riders have access to hundreds of miles of trails, from the beginner-friendly loops at Explore Park to the technical backcountry singletracks at Cavins Cove. No wonder the International Mountain Bicycling Association gave Virginia's Blue Ridge the rare and prestigious Silver-Level Ride Center status. The bike shop also has a Community Bulletin Board where it has information from places that teach you how to ride a bike for the beginners to future competitions for the advanced. In conclusion I highly recommend this bike shop for all your biking needs and thank all its employees for the exceptional customer service that they provided me with during my visit.
