The night before I wanted to go in and went on to their Instagram page and press the message button and was able to schedule an appointment for the next day. It was definitely presently surprised that they had an opening on such short notice. They were very accommodating so I was super excited to go. Friday morning came and 10:30 a.m. rolled around I walked in and Miriam was waiting for me. my appointment was for threading and an eyelash lift. Miriam threaded my eyebrows and did her best to make them look like twins rather than sisters LOL. She did a bit of correction from when I had over tweezed them weeks before. She wore a mask, I wore a mask, she did not wear gloves as they prevented her from properly threading. I was perfectly fine with it. She did wash her hands and use hand sanitizer each time she got a new piece of thread because my eyebrows were clearly too thick LOL. Needless to say, I'm allergic to latex and most of the places I've been to in an attempt to get eyelash enhancements, to help open up my small eyes underneath my glasses, hasn't worked out too well. As a result back when I was in Arizona I used to go and get a lash lift so I was really happy when I noted on their Instagram page that they offered to service as well. Anyway, Jasmine walked in and let me to the back room where she had me lay down on a massage like bed, face up, and explained everything to me that she was doing it. She did the right eye first, and put a bit of the solution on my eyelash as a test to ensure that I did not feel any discomfort or worse, burning. As expected, everything was good and well. We proceeded on to the additional steps for both eyes. I was especially surprised when she asked me if I wanted super curly lashes or just minimal, it definitely takes some skill and you'll see what I mean when I describe the process below. Needless to say I wanted the most curl I could get out of my super straight lashes so I was pleasantly surprised when she took the time to lead each individual lash up where it needed to be. This was by far the longest part of the process, roughly 5-7 minutes each eye) and wasn't unbearably uncomfortable. As long as you take a deep breath in and out...you'll be fine. After about 20 to 30 minutes or maybe less, the process was done and I had these beautiful curled eyelashes, that were mine and that will last up to eight weeks. She even asked if I wanted them tinted to help them pop, however since it was my first time going opted not to but next time I'll definitely try it out. okay so if you never heard of a lash lift it's basically a perm for your eyelashes. You find someone who's qualified, make an appointment, go in, lie back and relax it's your lash artist supplies silicone pads to protect the skin of your eyelids and then applies a solution on your lashes to make them reach sky high. kind of the same concept as waist training but on your eyelashes, instead of regular straight eyelashes this helps train them to curl up. In my experience, a good lash lift will last you anywhere between six and eight weeks. as with any thing else, they require a little bit of maintenance but nothing like eyelash extensions. It's always best to avoid using an oil-based makeup when you've had a lash lift because of oil can disrupt the solution and make it harder to stick. At the same time using waterproof mascara can be an issue because it often needs to be removed with an oil-based makeup remover, so keep that in mind. personally, once I have my lash lift I don't do anything else to my eyes except for extend my eyeliner out a little bit more. I like to have a little wing. That's about all I have, if you're in this area or are interested in a lash lift and having not ever gotten one, I would definitely say give Jasmine to try. She has a gentle hand and is super meticulous about making sure each one of your eyelashes, even the ones close to your tear duct will get the same treatment as the others. The only reason I gave them for stars was because I was expecting a call or text back in reference to getting my eyeliner redone and never did. read more

Definitely my new go to spot for threading! Not to say it will always be like this, but I went at around 1pm on a Thursday afternoon and there was no wait. That was a nice bonus. The lady who threaded my brows was very nice. She made me feel very welcome and that she appreciated my business. The business is also very clean and nice looking. They had soft music playing in the background as well. This isn't an area of town I'd necessarily frequent in deep south Henderson (Horizon Ridge Parkway) but I'll be making the trek whenever I need future threading. Priced a little higher than other places @ $12. I usually spend $9-10. But for an additional $2, it really is worth it and that's coming from a guy who's really a penny pincher. Requested an appointment online through Divine Threading's website late Saturday evening. I indicated that I wanted to book two appointments for myself and my 15yo daughter. By opening at 12PM Sunday afternoon, Harita called me to confirm the appointment with her. We have only ever had eyebrow threading done once before at a different shop, pre-Covid and that experience wasn't pleasant. I decided to give threading another chance and I'm so glad we did. Harita was absolutely wonderful. She was very helpful in informing us what to expect and asking for our preferred shape while also giving us suggestions that would better suit our face and eyes. I noticed a couple things that I'm not sure if they did pre-Covid or if it was implemented due to the pandemic, but I was so glad to see a sign in sheet with hand sanitizer and rather than having the thread in the technician's mouth it was looped around her neck. To be honest, the whole thread in mouth thing was probably the reason I wasn't a fan of threading in the first place. We will definitely be back to see Harita! I've been getting my eyebrows done since high school so I get really particular about how I like them. Recently I've been losing a lot of hair and because of that my brows haven't been growing as fast as they used to. I moved to another state a while back and so it's been a while since I got my eyebrows done in this area but I remembered I had gone to their centennial location years ago and had a pleasant experience. Interior: The henderson location is smaller than the other one as far as I remember, but it's super clean and decorated so classy and sophisticated. There's a television and magazines for when you're waiting. You can even ask for a drink while you wait. I'm super big on having the right type of music in a salon setting because people go to salons to relax. It wasn't too loud, although I'd have preferred more of a spa type of playlist but that's me being picky. I didn't venture to the back but it looked like there were two or three rooms for their other services. Services: I had my brows done by Maryam and she's fantastic. She was the only one working at the time so there was a little wait but not too long. If i don't come in with an appointment, I'm usually expecting to wait anyway. The price is fair compared to other places. I don't really like chatting it up with the provider while they're working on me so I liked that she wasn't pushy to make conversation. Anyway, I was scared cause my brows haven't been growing but she assured me it'll be fine, she even left a few hairs to keep the fullness and allowing them time to grow longer. I have also gotten a lash lift by Jasmin another time and I had 0 complaints and so many compliments. Went here because they had a groupon for a full leg wax and what seemed to be a few good reviews. Walking in it looks clean. Get into the room and the bed is dirty, still heel print from previous client. She handed a Terry towel wrap to cover up with and it had stains all over. She starts waxing me and let's just say awkward. No music no conversation I was in the spa version of the quiet place. I will say I did enjoy the cleanse and lotion rub afterwards. Once this lady finally finished I pay, tip and go home.. Well upon my husband's further inspection my calfs feel like I have stumble already. There is patches of hair everywhere on my thighs, random missed long strands on my calfs. Total waste of an hour. For the price I wont EVER go back.. I was blessed with Roya as my lash professional at the Henderson location. She is super understanding (I was late AND had to interrupt the session to use the rest room, which means removing and then reapplying the eye shields), has an eye for detail, is conscientious in application and basically transformed my bald eyes into alluring beauties. I have made a total of 4 appts here. The 1st was for henna, and everything was all set until I receive a phone call the day of my appt. telling me they over booked and they don't have anyone available. Then divine called me back to say they have a "friend" that could do the henna if we wanted to meet with her. At this point I had already found another place and was so grateful I did! Needless to say I was extremely disappointed with Divines customer service. Months later I decide to give them another chance and book for eyelashes. I revived a phone call the day before my appt. asking if I can come in later because, surprise they can't schedule accordingly. For a second I thought man maybe it's just me and crazy how they can't get their timing down. I did end up going and she did a beautiful job. I booked for a fill 2 weeks later and was stuck waiting past my appt. time. Frustrated but I stayed because it was for my wedding. Again beautiful job. I made appt last week for today at noon, and guess what? They told me I would need to wait 30 min or so because they overbooked! Never again! read more
