    a bag of coffee beans

I attended a gathering where the host made a wonderful ganache. I searched the web and found the Callebaut dark chocolate pieces he used to be pricey. But I still wanted to make ganache (for the first time) for upcoming guests to arrive in 3 days. I was very happy to find a great price through Divine Specialties on Etsy. And I was thrilled they shipped (for free!!! : ) my package as soon as possible and I had it in time to serve ganache to my company 3 days later on Tuesday night. That is OUTSTANDING customer service!!! The chocolates were exactly as described, very fresh, and the packaging was triple sealed in plastic wrap and came with an ice pack. I would definitely recommend Divine Specialties to everyone!! Thank you, Divine Specialties Gourmet Chocolates, for helping me host my guests with a great product at a great price!!

Ordered for delivery to FL and chocolate arrived in perfect shape

My local chocolate source has been out of Belgian chocolate for a while, so I decided to take a chance and order from this place on the recommendation of a friend. I am a food blogger/bake as a hobby and the prices were very reasonable for the quality of the product. Best of all, the shipment went from CA all the way to my front door in Miami, Fl and all the chocolate was in perfect condition. Would definitely recommend. They're keeping my (very expensive) hobby alive during social distancing. :-)

Just sharing a few of my goodies I purchased today. So excited to try the chefmaster candy color!

Thank you so much for giving me a tour of the warehouse and showing me all you provide. They have OUTSTANDING Customer Service and great pricing. Can't wait to go back and get some more goodies. Thanks again DS!

Great personal assistance and love that you can order and pick up same day! First time here, and ordering 25lb bulk of Guittard Chocolate.

Shoutout to the girl working that Saturday who answered all my questions about the different filled mochi flavors. They have a pretty decent assortment of Japanese snacks and candies, but of course come for the freshly made mochi. The texture is soooo soft and chewy unlikely the weird powdery texture of many other store bought mochi. My favorite was definitely the ichigo daifuku, although I do wish it came with a whole strawberry instead of just a small piece because the bite with strawberry was AMAZING. Second favorite is the peanut butter mochi and... I've already gone back just for those. They also sell plain komochi that you can eat fresh the same day or freeze and use later for cooking. Annnd I got some kinako mochi last weekend cause I keep going back lol.

Galco's will forever hold a special place in my heart…read more This is the OG grocery store we would walk to in the early 80"s. When they had penny candy machines, a big taxidermy deer head and the kindest owner. He once gave me and my sibling a big paper lunch bag full of candies! I love seeing the original check out stand, the little upper office where the owner would stand and the old fridge area where it once held fruits and veggies now old school candy bars. If you grew up in highland park in the 80s, this was the local market. How I miss those days! Highland Park is so different now! Btw Galco's makes some of the best sandwiches! Also if anyone knows where to get Stoney Tangawizi please let me know!

First: I used to love this place. As a fellow small biz…read moreowner nearby, I supported and promoted this place as one of the long standing coolest stores on the Eastside. It has such a selection of candy from your childhood, and for kids, random unique gifts to keep them busy. but yesterday...all that flew out the window. I approached the sandwich counter and asked the person working (an angry woman apparently) what her favorite sandwiches are. After she took a minute to complain about how she had been making sandwiches all day and her brain is fried and she didn't really have any recommendations for me (and was seemingly annoyed at me even asking) she looked at the clock and advised that I was 2 minutes too late to order a hot sandwich. literally the 2 minutes she took to complain about her job cost me the sandwich. now, if it was my shop and a nice family came in and asked me my opinion on something and I took a minute or two to say the things that she said I would give them a sandwich and make that sandwich be the last sandwich of the day, but instead apparently my money wasn't green enough for her. She shut it down and two minutes later was out the door. she was rude, and honestly it just seemed that she didn't give an F. Today I called the store to speak with the owner and the person who answered the phone gave me the runaround. it was clear that either the workers didn't want to connect me with the owner or the owner doesn't want to hear the complaint. this place has gone downhill.
