Yas is my best kept beauty secret. Even though I already have long lashes (as a result of my mom cutting them when I was a baby), one of my guilty pleasures is getting eyelash extensions to make them look more fuller and dramatic. I don't even need to wear mascara anymore! Yas definitely knows how to deliver and I always get a ton of compliments on my lashes! My lashes feel and look natural (they've never felt "heavy" to me), but she can arrange them depending on how you would like it. Application takes about 1.5 hours and my lashes last about 3-4 weeks at at time. She operates during after-work hours during the week (after 6PM) and Saturdays, which is super convenient for me since I work during the daytime. Her prices are very fair and booking is also easy and convenient. I'll definitely be a repeat client here! read more

It's been several months since I saw Yas. After the first session, things really went down hill because the lashes were not staying. I explained to her that curved lashes don't stay on as well as straight ones on Asian lashes. She did touch ups for me, but then she did something really unprofessional, particularly since she was not trained to do so... She attempted to "volumize" my lashes by adding several across my natural lashes. I know that she intended to try to make my lashes look fuller, but she overused glue; and in the end, she caused significant lash loss. There should never be hard chunks of glue used to attach lashes, no matter if the stylist is trying to build volume or not. Furthermore, she said she was using Extremelash but I later found out that she had not been trained and certified to do their volumizing method. Had she been certified, she would had used their finer lashes required for that technique. I don't have an issue with non-Extremelash products because I've done well with the Korean brands, but I do have an issue when someone is not forthright. I had to see a dermatologist and take months off due to the damage done to my lashes and lids. I brought her in the chunks of fallen, glued lashes (I'll attach the photo), which she wanted to keep. She said she could either refund me for the full or give me lash growth brand that she had...but after being convinced that her lash serum would help and that I take a break, I told her that I would prefer to use Latisse, which is medically approved. Then, she said that I needed to return her serum and that she would not refund me, cover the dermatologist co-pay and not cover Latisse. That seemed to be what I felt was the right thing to do, but she refused and was defensive...At that juncture, there was no point in communicating with her. I am very sad about all of this, as I know she is a nice person. But there is a different between someone being nice and someone being professional in how they handle their mistakes, particularly when it comes to a service that deals with your health and potentially your vision. I realize that I need to stop being vain in wanting to even have lash extensions... I have had my lashes done since 2009, and I NEVER ever had an issue with any stylist or product until I went to Yas. I still have major bald spots and gaps in my lashes, so be careful when you decide to go anyone. I highly recommend My Touch of Beauty if you want to go to someone trained with Extremelash that is professional and experienced. read more

Yas is amazing! Came here to treat myself to some birthday lashes as recommended by my BFF, Annie K. It was my first time getting individual mink eyelash extensions done and I thought the process would be long and arduous, but she sure proved me wrong! She finished within about 30 minutes and I was looking GLAM. She's quick, but at the same time super meticulous. She helps you decide which length of extensions to choose from and she talks to you throughout the whole process. She makes you feel at ease and is sweet overall. She gives you tips on care/upkeep and will gladly add more pieces if you don't think they're full enough. Mine didn't start falling off until about 3-4 weeks. If you are in need of some glam lashes, everyday lashes, etc. look no further! read more

It is hard to find a lash stylist that you really really like. I would definitely recommend Yas to all my girlfriends!! She is super nice and does a careful job on your lashes. She literally fit me in last minute and during her own break time. The lashes are long and voluminous without making my eyes look heavy. Love love love. And her prices are definitely affordable compared to other skyhigh lash bars. Her office is located right about Dr. Yousefi's surgery office on the corner of Nutley and Maple Ave. It's very stylish and nice inside and cool!! Even in 98degree weather outside her AC was blasting and felt super nice after driving in traffic in the heat. I almost don't want to advertise her too much because then she will get too busy!! But seriously, if you are looking for a new lash stylist go to Yas! read more

Yas the girl who does the lashes is warm and kind. Her gentle bedside manner made the experience so much easier. I've been getting lashes for the last 2 years and my current lash girl is pregnant and needs to take maternity leave. I've had lashes done all over the country and this was one of the best experiences. And the lashes were gorgeously lovely The place was a bit hidden away: The studio is actually located inside dr Jamal Yousefi's office. read more

Yas is by far the best :) she does a fantastic job on my lashes. Very professional and so sweet. I have been going too her for about 3 months now and will not go anywhere else! If u want full natural looking lashes that last for as long as 3-4 weeks go to Yas. Her prices are very fare - she deserves much more, that's why I never forget to leave her a nice tip! Oh and she also does facials ! For only $50 and it's so relaxing and she made my face look clear and beautiful for my wedding day! read more

Yas was a referral from a friend and she is amazing. Just saw her today and thought she deserves plenty of referrals so I am giving her a 5 star. She is very flexible in appointments, her emails, and text is quick to reply. We had some hiccups on the address. The one listed on yelp is totally wrong. The building number is 502 not 331. Overall, yas is my new permanent Lash stylist! She is quick and meticulous. The lashes are natural, full, curly, and voluminous. Thank you Yas! See you in few weeks. read more

I had the same issue as Erica, and around the same time as well. I get so scared about my lashes and wish that review was around before I went, but all I saw were the few positive reviews. First, I asked for a half set, and when I opened my eyes, I had a full and was being charged for a full. Thought it was so weird that it only took an hour and she had done a full set -- but, it was because she was gluing together my real and multiple false lashes in clumps. With clumps of glue that I could feel sitting in my lash. I had to go get them fixed at another place, who removed some and replaced with individuals where it was really bad, but still some of Yas's lash clumps were intact... After a few days, I ended up using coconut oil to gently try to remove the lashes completely, as I couldn't stand it and was so nervous if they fell out on their own it may take my real lashes, but I definitely have a few gaps now (I guess where some had fallen out on their own). I went back and she gave me back $20 which I'm now thinking should've been totally refunded considering what a damaging thing she is doing to her clients' eyes. If you have these clumpy lashes in now from this place, try oil! read more

I frequently get my eyelashes done but wanted a place closer to work! I found Yas on Yelp and I am SO happy i did! She squeezed me in for a last minute appointment today and I'm very pleased with the results! My lashes look very natural and I've received many compliments already. Yas is extremely friendly and professional. She is very meticulous and it took about an hour and 15 minutes to complete. The prices are competitive to others. Thank you, Yas! read more

Yas does her work and she does it quick. Not only is she friendly but she's just downright awesome. It doesn't take long to get an appointment (and she's quick to answer emails and texts) compared to other lash stylists in the area and her pricing is very competitive. As much as I hate to give up this secret gem, I do feel that Yas deserves plenty of referrals so that's why I'm reviewing today :) You won't be disappointed with her work. read more

I am Jas client since one year ago. She is awesome. My lash extensions are beautiful and with a natural look. I am perfect since I wake up until I go to sleep. I just need a little bit of make-up like foundation and lipstick and I am ready for all my day.The extensions last for 4 weeks sometimes for a little longer and after that you would need a touch-up. I highly recommend to try her treatment. You won't regret!:) read more

I wish I could give a zero. I have had xtreme lashes before and these were nothing like them. First, I asked for them to be a little longer than my natural lashes so they could look natural. I came out of there looking like I was ready for a drag show. Yas used so much glue on my lashes that it irritated my eye lids and there was nothing I could do about it. She also clumped a million lashes and glue onto one lash and even after the lashes were off I still had clumps of glue stuck on the few natural lashes I had left. I don't know if she is certified to do this or not but I asked her if she does xtreme lashes and she told me she did. Bottom line... If you want to have eye lashes after getting extensions do not go to Yas. I had practically nothing left. I was so disappointed and upset I didn't even contact her for a refund. read more

Yas Soroush is an extremely talented esthetician. I absolutely loved my eyelash extensions. I couldn't believe how long they actually lasted (3 weeks!!) and they didn't feel like the fake lash strips you glew on yourself. It felt super natural and looked amazing. Yas did an amazing job. I have small eyes and short, sparse lashes and I was nervous that the extensions would look fake on me. However, she found the perfect fit for me and was super happy. I got these done right before I went to Cancun and I felt like I did not have to put any eye make-up on the whole time I was there. In addition, the price is reasonable.
