The perfect full set, personalized design from B!
    Amanda P.

B and the crew are the best on the mountain. I love that they have a calm atmosphere even when they're packed. B always remembers his clients names, and is sooo polite on every phone call or visit. The pedicures are the best priced and the best quality. And the hot stone massage is always the perfect temp!

Firstly this is the filthy nail salon I have ever been in! They are very rough with the way they push and pull your hands and feet. Very few workers understand English, I thought I was in a different country. The dead bug did keep me company while I was taking the polish of my nails. I don't get how they possibly could have 4 stars just for the filth alone. I count on yelp reviews to find good restaurants, nail salons, hair salons, etc, etc, etc. I will be here in Show Low for another month and I will NOT be coming back here!

These are my nails after 4 days - it looks like I've had them on for weeks and already need a fill. I paid $52 for a manicure included and I did not get one. He skipped completely over everything and just started on the acrylics. The guy who did them burned my nail beds with the drill bit (his pressure was way too hard) and the LED lamp seriously burned and was very painful when drying my gel polish. When he trimmed the glue-on tips to the coffin shape he kept cutting my actual finger with the little scissors he used. The polish is not opaque and you can see through it in the sunlight. Not a fan - won't be going back, especially not to pay $52 for this experience again. 2 stars because I did end up liking the color and overall shape.

I don't live in Show Low so I didn't know where to go for nails. I totally scored with this place. The employees and the owner are top notch. Everyone's nails were so beautiful that I had to take photos!

    Example photo

Went here because I really needed a fill and a couple repairs on my set and my regular place wasn't open. Showed up for my 4:30 appointment right on schedule and proceeded to wait until 5:20 before I was seated at a station. Waited another 10 minutes before a tech came over to work on me. Showed him what I wanted, asking "do you have the pink powder to do this?" He replied yes. Began drilling my nails, getting up to leave repeatedly, constantly paying more attention to everything going on around us then actually doing my nails. Uses the clear acrylic powder to fix my nails, I'm thinking he'll probably go over that with the thin layer of pink powder the way my normal salon does when I fill a clear set with pink. Nope. Does a half assed job slapping acrylic on my nails, sends me to another desk to have someone else finish. She barely files anything, and goes to slap some paint on them when I ask if she can please use the pink powder. She acts like she had no idea what I'm talking about. Tells me she'll have to redo everything and that I should have said something before. (I did but the guy was paying more attention to everything in the shop) I ask if she can just do a thin layer of the pink over the clear and then clear coat it. She tells me no, to pink out a pink gel color. She paints the pink on horribly, talking crap to the girl next to her the entire time. And then then wanting to get out of there, I go to pay and they continue to tell me how it's my fault that I DIDNT TELL THEM. First off, if you know nails, you know the example pic I showed was pink acrylic, even without me having to say it, which I did, I will never be back to this shop. Completely sucks, both services and the people. Acute Nails is the place to go. The example photos I showed and what they gave me. Notice the horrid paint job, and no attention was paid to my cuticles.

B is amazing and I won't let anyone else even touch my nails. I've seen him work magic. The rest of his staff is amazing and very very professional. No other place on this mountain can compete.

I absolutely love this place! B (the owner) is absolutely amazing and highly skilled! It can be hard to find a nail tech who can do true nail art. B is one of several who is skilled enough to do art here. I also get my pedicures done there and their warm stone pedicure is absolutely amazing! Best part of my month is the pampering I get at Divine Nails & Spa!

Where do I start with the " Luxury pedicure service" I received yesterday. First the nail tech did not speak one word of English, come on are you serious if you can't communicate with the person who is working with you how can you possibly convey anything to them ? It was so awkward! Someone else came to finish my service idk why but she seemed agitated with the person who was working on me , they hung over me for ten minutes of my pedicure speaking in some language I dont know but it was NOT RELAXING! The woman polished my toes and was angry my feet weren't filed well & were still callused & dry looking . When she put my flip flops on she messed up the polish on both my Big toes because she didn't wait even 1 minute to let them dry . Then she decided to only fix One and leave the other a mess , why would you give me such bad service and be okay with it ? When she polished my 1 toe again she shoved my shoe on immediately and said I was done and motioned for me to get up , I'm sorry did I not request and pay for the " Luxury pedicure"... do not recommend this place and will Not RETURN

Got a pedicure at this place today, the nail tech was so unfriendly and seemed almost inconvenienced by me being there. Everything turned out okay except she was so rough with the grater on my heels that she actually broke the skin and I was bleeding through the whole service. She tried to hide it the whole time and didn't even apologize. I can't speak for the other people who work there because a lot of them seem very nice. I just came at a bad time I guess. As someone who works in the cosmetology industry myself, I would not come here again.

    Outdated, worn environment

I would not recommend this business. If you prefer a professional service in a substandard setting than this places for you. The decor is outdated, very worn, and the place is dirty! On a more positive note the receptionist.

My nails, done in my wedding colors! I was greeted with that pretty bouquet, as well. Such a lovely surprise!

First, I want to address the reviews below mine and say that you should read what they have to say…read moreand completely wipe it from your mind to save your IQ. If you're a business owner, popular amongst the community, and have to schedule hundreds of appointments weekly - you'd be on your phone as well. Also, why are you complaining that he's on the phone while YOUR NAILS are in the lamp? You want him to stare you in the eyes and tell you how much the lamp is awesome? You're just mad at the fact you can't be on your phone while your nails are being DONE. Second, the crew within Acute has always provided solid customer service. They'll accommodate to your every need so long as you're not a rude ass customer... which apparently some of you are. I'm sorry, did that hurt your feelings? Want me to go Walmart and buy you a box of straws so you can suck it up? Then you have miss certified nail tech... okay so what the hell are you doing in a nail shop if you're certified? Doesn't that mean you have tons of friends who also got certified and would love to do your nails for free? What a bullshit review. Anyways, enough of those idiots. Point is - challenge them with a design, ask them for advice in regards to your nails, ensure you respect them, and make sure you know what you want so you can schedule an appointment in advance. They won't fail you unless you're a rude ass customer. But in that case, that means you deserved it because you suck at life.

Never had that happen before. Honestly this is the WORST establishment I've ever been to. The guy doing my nails kept getting up and walking away? Pretty annoying. And he was so rude. I kept my hands on the table, only got on my phone when he walked away, because what else am I supposed to do, it was like 6 times. But he wasn't friendly, my first red flag should've been when I walked in for the appointment and he asked if I wanted a fill or full set and as I was talking he walked away saying "I'll look at it when you sit down". Then don't ask a question if you're not anticipating an answer? I should've turned around right there. Then sitting down as he's cutting my nails off I said "I figured it would be a full set because they're pulling up underneath" and he said "I could've filled them but you want a full set" 1, I prefer a full it's faster 2, he started cutting the nails off before looking at them. Also, I'm not sure what was wrong with him, but he kept forgetting what he was doing IN THE MIDDLE OF WORKING ON ONE HAND, he would move to next steps leaving one or two nails not files or buffed. He left 4 fingers unworked before I said "you forgot this hand" When he was applying the pink power, it's not all the way to the nail bed, I had to ask him to add it to the full nail. And he was rude about it. I didn't check his work after he added it because he was so so soo rude with his comments. Even after I got home, it's the thinnest layer of acrylic. You can see the natural nail still. The remaining fingers, he made sure to add acrylic to the first knuckle of every finger. I'm not even exaggerating. He was peeling acrylic off my fingers, my skin, and his hands and gloves because he used WAY TOO MUCH. As he applied the powder to my nail, he dropped a glob of acrylic on my nails, so much so that it dried as it was falling off the nail. When he didn't catch it with his paint brush and plop it back on top of the nail then smear it around. New experience for me. But there is SO MUCH dried acrylic underneath my nails, it's disgusting. I even asked him to clean it and he said he did. But again, he was the rudest person I've ever had "help me" with something. Wasn't worth the fight at the time, looking back, I should've. It was the strangest thing I've ever experienced in my life. He also couldn't keep his eyes open and he had to keep blowing his nose. I honestly think he was on something other than oxygen but I'm not a doctor. I will not be returning. Save yourself the headache and go to the other nail place in the same parking lot. They're better at their job.
