Josette K, I have a service dog and I take her in all the time. They are very friendly to her. Are you sure they "said" your dog smelled. There could have been a miscommunication. If you do bathe your dog every week like you say, it most certainly shouldn't smell. I could understand if you skipped a week or 2 and took it in they might say something. They never say anything when I take my dog in and are always kind, considerate and accommodating. But she is definitely bathed often, as a service dog should be when taken out into public, just as people are. And we do have to watch what we feed her so she doesn't have bad gas. People don't want smelly dogs anymore than they want smelly people. Especially when people are there to relax and be pampered. Jmo. read more

I'm handicap I have a Service dog. I've been there now three times they tell me my dog smells. They say they have allergies. Every time I go in there they make it to where I am so uncomfortable. I have to leave. My dog doesn't smell. He gets a bath every week he's a standard poodle and he doesn't shed and he doesn't have dander and I'm allergic to the planet and everything I eat and that's not a joke. It is very true I have never felt so un needed wanted. They have made everything so hard on me if your handicap don't go there if you have a dog, don't go there if you care about others don't go there. read more

My time is as valuable as the next person so I usually schedule my appointment four weeks in advance for my manicure and pedicure. Once they complete the pedicure they have you move to a table for your manicure. I moved over to the table for my manicure as requested. It seemed to be taking the girl a long time to come do my manicure so I looked around for her. To my surprise I see her working on another customer while I sit waiting for her. Only nail place in the area open sundays. Worked in a pinch. Guy that did my fill was nice and charged fairly. Younger lady that did gel for my niece was FaceTiming someone most of the time she was working on my nieces nails and missed certain requests. She charged us $70 for her gel French manicure with chrome and two small bow designs. They charge 3% for using a credit card. Was very hot inside with no airflow which made it uncomfortable to be in there. read more

Visiting the area for a week and wanted to treat my daughter and myself and was strongly disappointed with the service. Pedicure was rushed, polish was not cleaned up nails not cut even. Starting price for basic pedicure was $30 does not include scrubbing or massage , up charged fee for that. Another up charge was 3% for paying with a card and 3% if you place the tip on card. Save your time and money go to any other spa in the area. Top it off the staff was rude. read more

Everything about my first visit here was great. There was a very friendly and calm atmosphere. One thing I wasn't prepared for was how long it took. My appt was for a mani/pedi but after an hour and 15 or so minutes my lady was still working on my pedicure. I had to cancel my mani because I had another appointment elsewhere and I didn't want to be late. I will definitely go there again but I will allow a lot more time. read more

I would rather leave zero stars, I called asking for a mani/pedi made an appointment and waited 20minutes upon arrival, then when I showed up asking for a gel ombre they literally LAUGHED and said they didn't do that.. a nail salon, that doesn't know how to do nails? I guess I walked into an episode of Punk'd Then my nails where were supposed to be black, and they are NAVY BLUE. I will NEVER return, and unless your an elderly woman who only ever gets a French manicure, I suggest you don't waste your time here. read more

This is the 3rd time I have been here since salons and spas opened up again in AZ. Techs: 5 Quality: 5 The first couple of times I felt safe. Both employees and customers were masked. Customers were directed to every other spa chair and nail station. I observed chairs and stations wiped down after customers. Today was packed with customers and while the employees were masked, out of the dozen or so customers there today, I was the only one wearing a mask. I did not see chairs or stations wiped down between customer nor spaced apart as before. Sadly, I no longer feel safe and will not be returning. read more

I love to go see Mai for my nails! She's someone you absolutely have to make an appointment with...but she's reallllllly good so you'll see why she's always so booked with other appointments..She does the best dip ever! She's thorough and fast and makes it look super simple to do!! The quality of Mai's work is outstanding!! I'm super rough on my hands and always in water with my job and they definitely hold up to the challenge of my daily routine and normal ruff ness.. thanks again Mai for being awesome and for being up here on the mountain!!! I walked in, was barely greeted. Asked for a gel pedicure, asked to wait 5 to 10 minutes. Was called to chair for pedicure. Waited a few minutes ( no big deal) Not one person in that shop had a smile on their face, in fact everyone looked pissed off and annoyed. No music, no tv, it was totally silent. Girl sits down to start pedicure. I asked for the Luxury pedi ($40.00) A good pedi should be at least 45 minutes, especially if you are getting the scrub, callus remover and stones. She cut my nails down as I requested, started cutting cuticles with no cuticle softener, then came the scrub, a total of 30 seconds on both legs. She then placed my feet up for the callus remover, my heals really needed it. This woman literally used the (what I call a cheese grater) for about 3 seconds on each foot. Yes I timed it because I was already pissed by this point. Once that was over she rinsed and put lotion on. Again another minute (maybe) for each leg. When she was finished with that... She rinsed the lotion she just applied off.....WHY? What's the point if you are going to rinse it off. She went back to grab hot stones, she placed them on my legs, one leg at a time, ran them up then down on each leg totaling about 5 seconds for both legs. Everything she picked up to use she threw back in container as if she was bothered by me being there. At the end of my pedi she files the nails again.... getting rid of the polish on the tips. I understand if someone is having a bad day but the entire shop??? I paid $55. (Because I get gel polish) for a pedicure that took not even 30 minutes. I am seriously pissed off. I will NEVER recommend this shop. To top it all off a woman called while I was there, Owner placed her on speaker phone so the entire shop could hear her. She was very sweet, stating her name and said happy New Year. Which guy replies with ok? What do you need? She proceeded to tell him that her and her friend would like 2 full sets at 11:00 on Saturday, to which he replied ok. She asked if they had an opening at 11 and he said "see you Saturday and hung up" The owners of this place need to learn some customer service skills and possibly clean their shop, as I sat there, I noticed so many things. They do NOT clean that place and the front desk area looks like a tornado came through. Not to mention someone went out the back door to smoke and it all came through the shop. I usually never leave reviews but this time I could not help myself. You guys are seriously the worst nail salon I have ever been to in my life, and I have been going for over 30 years to nail salons. I can clearly see this place has more bad reviews than good ones. YOU SHOULD PROBABLY PAY ATTENTION TO THAT! I SHOULD BE REFUNDED, BUT WONT EVVEN STEP FOOT BACK IN THAT PLACE. read more

I had a person today, named Kevin. Granted he had only done nails for two weeks. He made a mess of my nails, they were short and jagged. He had to put 4 nail extensions and he still cut them to short. all I was suppose to have was a fill and a simple polished and was charged $48 which is over charging. I made an appointment a week in advance so why did they give me a rookie. I will think twice about going back. Not happy. read more

Disappointing. They were busy and I felt rushed through, like I was an inconvenience. My entire upgraded pedicure took only 30 minutes. The "hot stone massage" literally lasted 30 seconds at most. I was asked a question at one point and after answering, they started speaking and laughing with each other in their language. I honestly don't have any idea what could have been funny but it felt very rude and disrespectful. The woman doing my pedicure seemed irritated and annoyed the entire time. I love Sassy Nails! They always take time to do what needs to be done, like an extra foot scrub to relieve my dry cracking heals. The shop is updated with new pedicure chairs and new nail stations, just beautiful! If you go, you should call ahead for an appointment as they get very busy. read more
