I didn't feel welcomed and I felt like there was drugs and other weird things going on just wasn't my scene. I loved it when Sarah was working there. That seemed like the time when it was a great bar now it just seems like a place for people would just clicks to meet up. No sense of people wanting to be together as a group and that's just in my opinion and what I've seen as compared to other places I've been in Raleigh. I would love to be proved wrong. Please show me or tell me I'm wrong.. It has been nine months since I've been in the place.

I came in with a very large group of people and the bartenders mode instantly went south, because of the upcoming packers game and how invested she was into the game. She didn't want to take our orders and when she did she was very reluctant to do so. I ordered one drink and when I closed my tab i made the mistake of giving her my card before seeing what i was going to be charged for. I ended up being charged $17 for my one beer and when i brought it to her attention she was cursing me out and telling how much all she wanted to do was watch the game. I kept my cool and tried my best to de escalate i even offered to just sign the receipt just to be over it and she ended up crumpling the receipt up. Im not sure why but im pretty sure she is a tweaker. After this episode she literally told me to watch the bar while she went to the bathroom and im not even kidding she was gone for 10-15 minutes. I really do not recommend this place unless you plan to be verbally assaulted. Or just want an interesting story to tell people about.

This is a quiet and quaint fine dining restaurant located in the heart of Pinehurst. Reservations…read moreare necessary due to strict seating times but it is well worth the effort. Much smaller, didn't have a fireplace, didn't have a view of the charming village and bathroom was also much smaller (see tiny). When I spoke with the person upon arrival and asked she called the GM (owners wife) who explained a guest who had stayed the night before decided to extend their stay another night... Didn't call or email us to see if another room was acceptable. Didn't apologize and definitely didn't tell the other guest they'd love to have them stay but they'd have to change rooms... Not sure where they learned the hospitality industry but that doesn't cut it. I reserved a specific room. Paid required deposit for said room in advance and then you gave the room to someone else. WTF?

The large bar provides comnfortable seating all the way around, no backbreaking bar stools here! They also have comfortable table arrangements to sit at as well as some very comfortable chairs and couches in the back. They do not provide food but are going to be getting some food in the near future, they do have plenty of beer and wine to choose from with a very large selection of beers on draft. I was highly impressed with the attention to detail in what they serve as well as how they serve it. They even have a good selection of unique wine and beer for sale on display in the bar not to mention quality wine accessories, take a look at the riedel glassware for sale. The wine I ordered was served in the proper glass every time, no "joker" wine glasses here! They sell quality wine and proudly present a good selection of wine to choose from. The staff are great! They are great to sit and talk with, very knowledgeable in what they sell and treat you like family. If your looking for an upscale and classy establishment for quality drinks and a comfortable, yet relaxing atmosphere, this is the place for you. Cheers!

Sooooooooooo I…read morethought I would never find a place that sincerely believed that the customer is never right (literally said that, seriously)... We enter this sports bar without knowing that my girlfriend went to their sister company (Mikoto) and had an awful experience... What was more interesting was the bar tenders defensive statement on the business model: They will never return a plate or drink because their menu is exotic and they believe that customers who have money don't complain. Well this 6 digit salary customer won't ever step foot in that tasteless place, yet alone recommend to anyone I know. FYI Customer service is key to any business and the owners climate of arrogance has clearly trickled down to the minimum wage waitress they have... A place like this wouldn't last a weekend in NYC. Oh and since the owner owns the whole strip, you won't dare catch me buying anything at any of those insipid locations!!!

Even tho we planned to arrive well before the band would start playing to have dinner, we were lucky to find a parking place, let alone a table. The interior inside is really lovely. The staff is terrific and the food was very good. I had the pastrami Ruben with the tomato & cucumber salad. Both were very tasty. My spouse had a BLT and a salad which she enjoyed. For dessert we shared the butter toffee bundt cake that has a caramel glaze and is topped with a small scoop of local ice cream. It was absolutely incredible!! We wanted to order another, it was so good! If we're in the area sometime I'd like to stop in for lunch and that mouth watering bundt cake. I would hesitate to come back in the evening, only because as the night went on there were some patrons so drunk that the atmosphere started feeling really amped up in a concerning way, like a fight was about to break out at any moment. It's not a big place inside so it could quickly get out of hand. I can say when something like that happens anywhere, it's not a situation to find yourself in as an innocent bystander. Had it not been for that element it would have been a really enjoyable night out, but alcohol and aholes don't mix well together. I'm still going to rate it high for the delicious food, friendly and attentive service, the beautiful interior, and the great music.

Seat yourself setup, but plenty of seating available. Our server, Madison, was at the table in under a minute with menus, and food came out in less than 12 minutes. She was efficient and attentive without making us feel rushed. This is a gastropub, meaning a casual bar-style restaurant that puts more focus on food quality than a typical bar menu. The space reflects that. Mix of standard tables with chairs, booths, and a small lounge area with cushioned chairs and a sofa. He ordered the Reuben, I had the pulled pork with collards. Prices were reasonable at $12 for the pork and $13.50 for the Reuben, each with one side. We both wanted the cucumber tomato salad, but they were out. The pulled pork came with a red, vinegar-leaning sauce. Not sweet and not strictly Lexington style, more of a house take on North Carolina barbecue. Still flavorful and satisfying. The collards were good with small bits of bacon that added flavor without overpowering. The Reuben was decent, but the toasted brioche bun stood out. Good texture and held everything together the way it should. The pasta side was fine, nothing memorable. Total bill came to $27.26. We both stuck with water, which keeps things simple and keeps the cost down. Overall, a solid stop for a quick, easy lunch. Nothing over the top, but everything came together the way it should. Must order: Pulled pork with collards Heads up: Sides may run out, have a backup in mind
