I have no idea who came up with this concept, but, it is an amazing experience. I was in the area for an overnight stay and needed something to do. I stumbled across this establishment thanks to Yelp and decided to go. Upon walking in, I was drawn to the fresh popcorn sitting at the check-in desk. (can you tell I was hungry? LoL) As a heads up, they don't serve food, however, the Nachos and Cheese from the bar will hold you for a little bit. The environment is absolute fun. I'm talking all your favorite old skool games. We were so happy to find Stop Button Bar, it had some awesome 90's games, pinball and other games. They also have a full bar and the sweetest bar tenders and staff! The place is very nostalgic. Although they don't serve any food, they do have a small bar in the back in which they serve very cheap drinks. You can even bring the kiddos with you up till 9 PM. The idea and concept is pretty cool. My issue is that, being my first time visiting, our bartender, the Asian girl, seemed rude and it seemed like me and my friends were annoying to her. She would have a serious face when we'd try to order drinks but when a group of guys came up, she was all smiles towards them so not sure what that's all about. My second complaint was that our drinks seemed like nothing but juice. I got 2 "Health Potions" 1 "Wonder Woman" and 2 out of the 6 "Rainbow Road" shots; didn't feel a thing. Tonight is their soft opening and they certainly still have some kinks to work out but otherwise it's a great concept. They have similar venues in Raleigh but nothing here in Fayetteville. They are still waiting to get some games in but it's pretty neat. Play old school arcade games and drink beer. No food. There are 2 rooms one with arcade games the other has comfy chairs with consoles you can play games like super smash bros etc. A bar in each room. You have to pay for their membership even if you don't play any games but to play costs more at walk in and all games are free! I'm sure we will be back. read more

Super cool place! You get to play all the retro games for as long as you want! Sometimes there's a machine with a faulty stick, but it's hard to complain when it's on a machine older than me! They kick the kids out at 9 pm I think, so if you arrive late it's less crowded. read more

We came around 5:30PM. Not to busy and enjoyed our time. Front door guy was really nice and explained everything to us, because it was out first time. As we walked to fine the back bar, I was surprised when I saw the bartender holding an infant in her arms. She was extremely rude and slow. It seemed as if my group was bothering her. My 5 year old son accidentally locked himself in the restroom and I asked for assistance. She smiled and was shaking her head. I replayed with he is 5, I need the key. This is probably my favorite place in Fayetteville. One price gets you unlimited 1UPs.They have all the classics. The bar in the back is preety dam good too. (selection wise) also in the back are group consoles from Wiis to PS4s with games you can check out for FREE. The have a couple of Fortnite connected ones too! Bottom line Awsome place. Came here with some friends on a Saturday night and had a ton of fun. Lots of machines to choose from as well as consoles to use. Pretty respectable drink menu as well, good amount of beer and the drink specials are pretty great. A machine or two didn't work, but that wasn't a problem seeing that there were so many there. The one thing that I would say that they need to change is how the consoles work... it's pretty apparent that the business and staff hasn't really figured out how to make the system work perfectly, which I would expect from a place that isn't even technically open yet. Only bar that I've been to (and I've been to a few of these now) that just has you pay the cover charge and then the games are free. Most have you buy tokens or straight up throw quarters in PLUS the cover charge. One hundred percent would recommend, doesn't serve food, but has an excellent drink menu. read more

I love this bar! I can go with my husband, drink awesome themed drinks, and play video games all night. The one problem I have though is sometimes I put in a game and it wont play because it has to update on the console and I have to choose a different game. Would suggest checking your games at the end of the day to make sure they are all up to date on your consoles or at least throughout the week. There are enough games to choose from though that this wasn't a big problem. Karaoke on Thursdays is the best night to go. This is a very decent retro arcade spot. Alot of classic arcade machines ranging from Pacman all the way up to NBA jam and console games. Weekly tournaments with giveaways. For my first time going it was packed from a fellow car meet on the other side of the property. Some of the games need to be fixed but that's a small grip when there's plenty to enjoy. It operate as a private club which is great because you do have to deal with idiotic nonsense from drunken people. Since we are on the topic of drinks let's talk about the bar. They do have a drink menu but I wouldnt suggest you take a look at it because most of the drinks/shots on there are funny rendition with mixed energy drinks that do not mix well. The bartenders work hard I have to give them credit even tho it's not a full service bar they try there best to get things done but at the cost of there quality of drinks. I had a vodka and cranberry and watched like a 4th of the bottle being poured and maybe a little bit of Cran which I'm not complaining but when I sipped I could tell that this alcohol was diluted before.. Now I don't know if this was done on purpose to make sure there's no rowdiness happening but other arcade bars I have went to in the pass have always made up in the bar area.
