Pineapple Ale

Overall: A hidden gem! Latitude 35 is a must go during my visits to Fayetteville. By luck, Lynsey has been my server each visit and she is WONDERFUL! Extremely kind, personable, and humorous. Food: All hits, no miss. I've tried the shrimp wrap, fried pickles, ultimate fish sandwich, and shrimp tacos. All were made with notably very good quality ingredients. I recommend the shrimp tacos or shrimp wrap paired with Flat Rock pineapple ale. Ambiance: I must say, the inside and outside seating areas carry different vibes. I always opt to sit outside, very laidback and beachy. During my last visit, Latitude 35 was hosting a bingo night. I will certainly be planning my visits to ensure I don't miss out! Such fun!!

Have been a repeat customer for years - never disappointed. Enjoy the drinks, great food and service. Live music and indoor / outdoor seating. Great spot for a unique night out.

I am updating my review, because I have been coming here for almost a year now, and I feel like it isn't only four stars for me. I have worked my way through a large portion of both the brunch and lunch menus, and I have gone for drinks on the back patio. Everything I have eaten here is really tasty, and has nice presentation. The staff is always on point, with my fave being Ellie. I love all the benedicts (especially the southern- that fried green tomato with the pimento cheese is divine), the pancakes are amazing and huge, gotta show some love to the grouper fingers, and the pickle chips as they are both crispy and never greasy. I also like that I have asked for things to be added or subtracted from a dish and that has never been an issue.  The bloody mary's at brunch are some of the best around, so good that if you show up before 10am on a Sunday, and it's virgin; it still tastes great! The vibe at night is laid back and the patio is always buzzing with music or bingo or trivia. There really isnt one thing negative I could say about Latitude 35, its even in a cool part of town with several walkable things nearby. Love it!

Lyndsey F. is a sweetheart , and very attentive. She brought us a delicious quesadilla!, none left on the plate! The mojitos were average but the flavors were there... w/ extra shot of Rum! Baaahaaa.... Overall, a good experience!!

Absolutely love the service here! I come with friends regularly for lunch and we are rarely disappointed. The brunch items are reasonably priced and portion sizes are good as well. I love getting a good Bailey's coffee and mimosas are average. This place is pet friendly and they have recently enclosed the back patio to accommodate for the fall/winter weather.

Can't go by these hours or the website. Turned away at 9:08pm.

Good neighborhood spot in Haymount. Covered outdoor dining in back--a pleasant option. Food is never great, but it is good.

I came in search of the cuisine of Trinidad and Tobago, a distinctive mix of Caribbean and Indian flavors. It was a pure takeout with not much to offer inside and it was a reasonably nice day. I ordered a veggie combo, not being entirely clear on what it would amount to. I ended up with a whole lot of rice and a couple of premade dishes, one with chickpeas, and one with potatoes. I was not impressed with his combination and would have preferred more variety and more vegetables which are common to the cuisine. I didn't want to order anything additional because that was already a ton of carbs. The flavors, including a house, hot sauce, were distinctive. If I came back, I would place a more customized order as they did have a wide variety of vegetarian/vegan options. It would be nice to see them in a more downtown space, as there is some need for variety in this area.

Everything was fresh and well seasoned, the portions were very generous and the staff is friendly. The adult beverage menu looks very good but they do not have their liquor license yet so sadly I couldn't order an adult drink but I was tempted!! Lol The first visit we ordered the ackee and saltfish rolls and conch fritters as appetizers. For our entrees we got the Curry Shrimp pasta, and Curry Chicken with rice and peas, cabbage, and sweet plantains. I also ordered a side of roti to eat with my curry chicken. All the food was soooo delicious! The portions we big enough to have enough leftover for lunch the next day.. it left me craving for more hence why I'm here again 3 days later! Lol UPDATE: sadly the second visit experience was not as good as the first. The calamari appetizer was not very good at all, nor was it as described on the menu. It was over fried and not a big portion for the price. I ordered curry goat roti which should have came boneless, I was given bone in curry and told it must have been an error in the menu because they do not serve boneless meat. The curry was mostly bone, I actually swallowed a bone (OUCH!) I asked for curry chicken so I could actually enjoy my meal. I am very sad and disappointed in this experience today. I really was so excited to come back today.

Our server said he usually served as the bartender, but on this light business night he was handling our table. They stressed that that the dishes were not spicy, but when they heard we love our food to have a little zip to elevate the flavor, he proceeded to bring out a few homemade sauces that were just right. Everything we had was excellent in every way. I'm writing this a week afterward so I'm not going to get into the specifics since I might not recall them with enough clarity. All I can say is that when we passed by the area again driving back from the Christmas holidays, we checked and they were closed, otherwise we would have returned. It seems to be a family run business and we thanked the chef before leaving and "mama" came out from the kitchen and gave us a hug on our way out. Wish I could go back soon, but we live in Florida, so we don't pass by that area often.

When I arrived had to wait about 10mins, not bad. Great decor and it's very spacious with lots of seating. The Okra soup with goat and fufu and 2 Oxtail patties. The Okra soup was really good, I like it spicy so added some of the pepper sauce I was offered. Different cultures makes fufu and tis was the first time having the African version, it was good. Oxtail Patties was the star, really flavorful and has a nice crisp, I also added a bit of the pepper sauce...delicious. A bit on the pricey side so if you're looking for something economical this is not it. I enjoyed the meal and it was enough to share with a 2nd person if needed, if you're doing that though I would suggest adding another fufu.

They are sliced very thin so it appears you are getting a lot of meat but you're really not. Even with them being sliced so thin, they were tough as rocks and not tender at all! The beef patty was good but I'm pretty sure it was commercial so really not way to mess that up. There's only to-go available at this time. Overall, wasn't return or recommend.

Worth of food! So much food! When the guy handed me the bag with my food, I thought he'd put a brick in it or something, it was so heavy. Lemme talk about that rice, though. I wasn't sure what to expect from the peas and rice since I've had it a bit dry, I've had it mushy, I've had it this way and that. A&M's peas and rice might be the best I've had. It was almost succulent. Granted, there were oxtail on top and, therefore, oxtail juices had seeped through in some areas, I'm sure. But even the places that hadn't been touched by the oxtail were....juicy? I don't even know the right term to use. But it definitely was not mushy or watery or dry or bland. Very good flavor, and tons of it. The cabbage was also a great consistency, which is hard to do when you're making a large quantity of cabbage. That wasn't mushy either (overcooked), nor was it hard (undercooked). It still had a bit of a bite to it, which is how I like my cabbage, so it was delicious to me. The roti skin was hot and ready to go, packaged separate from the rest of the plate, of course. Great flavor, a bit flaky, which I like. I wrapped a bit of everything in about half of it (peas n rice, cabbage, oxtail meat), and it held together really well. The ratio of items was what I'd expect: tons of rice, a side corner of cabbage, several oxtail on top of the rice. I could have actually done with a little bit less rice and a bit more cabbage, but I'm not complaining about how they packaged it. Great food, nice establishment in an empty shopping plaza. FYI, they have a free chicken platter on one of their special nights (can't remember which one, and there's a $5 admission to get in). I shall return!
