The place was very small and I asked the bartender for a drink and he was rude to me. Very short and it was not that busy yet, was wondering what happens when it is real busy how is he then? Maybe cause I lost my southern accent living in Baltimore now but what ever he was rude to me Waiting on my well known rock star friend and having a drink full of ice not much alcohol and it was expensive for what I got I was very disappointed here! Bathroom reaked of urine not clean and very small also. My friend showed up with some women we invited from another club we were at and they had never been here before but he does not get charged any where in this town a cover charge ever! Cause of who he is! He will pay if there is a band to support the band but not a DJ! Sorry how he is! So he left and texted me to come out side and I left also and was very disappointed in such a venue or dive bar and usually those are the best but this one is NOT! I will not be back and neither will he and he even knows the owner and said hi to her he said. There are way better and nicer places in Fayetteville to have a drink with friends. This place is not one of those sorry but true!

Acknowledged as I came in the door? Check!…read moreVolume at a manageable level? Check! Good list of food choices? Check! HUGE list of beers? Check! Check! This was the second time I came to this establishment. Thie first time around was good, even if 3 of the beers I wanted to try weren't available. This trip had a mission: create a new dish utilizing two separate dishes. In this case the Loaded Tots (bacon, jalapeno, sour cream and chives with beer cheese sauce on top of crispy tater tots) AND Mac-n-Cheese bites (fried and served with a spicy aioli sauce). The plan, a successful one at that, was to utilize the toppings from the tots, to cover the mac bites (see picture for results). This creation not only caught the eye of the bartender, Branden (great service btw) who tried my concoction and loved it. But then that of the chef (Al?), who then saw the new dish and was like "now I know". Sadly this isn't a dish that can just be added to the menu. But if it could, oh boy, watch out!! There's also great specials throughout the week, like Wednesday is $2 Off any draft beer. Thursdays offer a discount to beer packs. Come for the food. Drink a few beers. Watch one of the many TVs and have a great time!

I think of them more as a burger or southern food place but they do pay special attention to the art of the que. Very few places smoke wings and most of the ones that do, the wings are amazing. Macs is no exception. If you're a wing person who likes layers of flavor with your wings then you won't be disappointed here. Pairs perfectly with crispy beer battered fries. The deluxe devils if they're still on the menu are really good...deviled eggs with jalapeños on top! I like their tacos as well. They have a brisket taco that really smacks and the shrimp taco hits hard too. Service is consistently good. As far as ambiance, it doesn't really get any points for style....nothing really says "hey we're a speed shop" like you'd see at Quaker Stake or other speed themed bars and restaurants. It's somewhat generic but that's okay. This is one of my go to places when I'm visiting Fayettenam.
