This is one terrible insurance company, all they care is get…read moreyou on their plan. They put couldn't even fix they own mistake. They ask when policy like to be start, of course, continue with when old policy ended, so there would be no gap in between, I even send them copy of my old policy with their request. A week later declaration of policy come - with 4 days earlier than old policy end. So, I call them pointed out mistake, sure they said they will take care it, no way, not only I have to call time to time to check progress, 2 month later solution is cancelling the one with wrong date and start new policy and I need to pay extra for 4 days of difference. What a drag, they purposely drag the time to respond so make you stay on, not to cancels policy even they know the mistake was made. I have to be the one pays the problem you created by your carelessness, what a sham, Way they handle the mistake totally shows how they care about their client. How if when time comes really needs to claim through policy, you are doom, cos they don't give dame. You can skip this company, plenty other companies doing much better job then they do.

They make it pretty hassle-free to get taxes done for a reasonable price. Even during the pandemic, I appreciate the safety precautions this office takes and it's still as efficient as before. Appointments aren't required. No one is physically allowed into the office, but you can still walk up to the office during tax season and pass over all your documents to the front desk. They'll handle it while you wait around outside and have a few chairs spread out for those who want a seat. As a returning customer, it only took me about 30mins on a Friday afternoon to be in and out of there this year with my taxes filed. Parking isn't plentiful around this part of town, but there is a small shared lot underground. Make sure to grab your parking validation before you leave so you can park here for free.

Located in Chinatown, it's kind of far from my house, but we like them that much that we will drive all the way to downtown for them, and since your in Chinatown, you can get dinner around here too. Located in an older multi story building, under ground parking is available, and free with validation. Escalator has been broken for years, so take the elevators. There are two accounting business here, on the 2nd fl., and right next door to each other. Rober Chiu is the one on the left. Just an average size and average looking office, nothing special as far as the decor goes. We originally used Mr. Chiu, but after years of using him, he was busy one time, and we ended up using another accountant within his office. That's when we met his assistant, Miranda, she is just great. She speaks both english and chinese, she is very nice, friendly and attentive, she is extremely smart and helpful. She's always aware of new tax laws that are out. We haven't stopped using her since. Going on about 16 years now. Great service, free parking, what more can you ask for? We will be back next year, 5 stars from me.

I had to go here because i was referred by my mom as I just bought a house to get the most tax return. This lady Winnie had no idea what she's doing as we lost money filing our taxes due to her inability to comprehend the best way to get the most tax returns. I had another accountant confirmed that we should've received more from our tax returns. She also quoted us a price for their service, and ended up asking for a higher price later, and they got offended when we corrected them. Also, We asked her a lot of questions because it was our first time owning a home and her manager Valerie ended up complaining to my mom that we asked too many questions and we were unpleasant customers. Valerie, we pay for your service and we should ask you questions if we don't understand something. If you guys quoted incorrectly, we should have the ability to correct you. You need to learn to be more professional and take better care of your customers if you ever want to grow your business. I will pass this to warn many people on review sites as well as friends and family. Please avoid this place at all cost, but if you do decide to go here just be smart at what they are telling you and be an active listener because they will try to cheat you and blame everything on you.
