GT was one of the companies recommend by the engineer who designed my replacement septic system. I…read morecalled many contractors for quotes, and they where not only the best priced, but responded quickly and professionally. In addition, they included all permitting, pumping, and inspection fees, so there where no surprise costs. I had difficult access to my back yard and several arborvitae trees needed to be removed. Not only did they carefully scoop out the trees with the excavator, but they helped keep them alive by pouring water on the root balls and put them back in place when the job was done! They worked very quickly and the finished job is much better than I expected (which is why I felt compelled to write this review). The topsoil is nice and flat with very few stones, and all evidence of the huge dirt piles are all cleaned up. I don't normally write reviews, but understand that shopping around for contractors can be stressful with no way to compare other than price quotes. If your in my situation with a bad septic or any other need, hopefully this helps you make an informed decision. I will not hesitate to call GT Excavating for any other site work I need in the future.

All work and inspection was completed by 1:30 on Friday 4/23/21; it was delayed because Wood's technicians didn't realize the battery was not delivered and they had to pick one up. Significant Rain was forecast for Sunday 4/25/21. Foley was not responsible enough to fill the trench back in until Monday 4/26/21. If I had Not placed a tarp down in the trench, my basement would have flooded!

i had hired Albert to do a major repair in 2024. most of his work is okay but he made a lot of…read moremistakes. the shower hose was cheap and dripping I changed to a better quality but it still dripped he refused to fix. he connected a double sink but only one drain was connected he came back but still did. it fix I hired someone else to fix my dripping shower and the drain in double sink. he left a hole on my hose where he removed my outside faucet. my kitchen screen had two holes and a broken blind. when he did base paint on house he painted blinds shelves my two acs. he threatened me when I complained during his work that I could move back into empty house with the bathroom gutted and the house with three large holes in floor I gave him a year and 1/2 trying to fix all the mistakes. things were stolen from me. in a room that had paneling he got sky blue paint on a beautiful pair of curtains that I asked about many times. I am a senior he swore and yelled at me when I complained because he drained my insurance company. he told me I should get plank flooring it was not installed correctly and I am handicapped he told me I could not use my rollenater. it was falling apart . DONT HIRE HIM IF YOU WANT THE JOB DONE GOOD. there are so many other things but too much to answer. He used a lot of cheap items and spread the time but not working every day so he would get more Money I am filing other complaints against him
