After a fair amount of research I settled on Ken Cole of Atlas Surveying for septic design and he recommended Jim Briggs for the install. His wife Victoria, who runs the office operation was super helpful throughout. We had a complicated yard with a hill and minimal setback. Ken and Jim went out of their way to tuck the 1500 gallon tank and bio-mat system up behind the view shed which required using a smaller backhoe and more time. It also required a substantial retaining wall design and build. Jim was there for all the work and got it done quickly. He was always a text away.
