They are local (part of our Community) which means they have a vested interested in doing good work because everybody knows them. 2. Everybody who has had work done by them has no complaints. 3. They stand behind what they do. 4. They understand your expectations. 5. They have a solid timeline (baring weather). In the first week of working on our home, the siding has been removed, the windows have been replaced, installed an awning over the garage and backdoor, the back deck has been replaced the front deck has been updated. 6. The crews have worked together for years the average appears to be 15+. They have a great vibe... 7. All the crews are specialized. There is a deck crew, siding crew, and an electrician. There is a painting crew and a finishing carpenter. Everything gets run through one person: your project manager. 8. There is NO UP SELLING. There are no "hidden" fees/surprises. 9. The project manager and the owner of the company is ALWAYS available (phone, text or email). 10. Punctuality. They arrive around 8, 8:30 and leave around 6, 6:30. 11. PaintingPlus thinks outside the box so our 1979 house now looks modern and the little touches that PaintingPlus came up with were things I never thought of that make the house "a home". 12. Trust. I am so very glad that we did this. We've had work done on our house before and had a few regrets. This is the first time I don't have that feeling. PaintingPlus is professionalism at its finest. I'm still finding things that were overlooked. They are all little things, but they are annoying little things that should not have been missed upon completion of the work. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. Aside from what's in the images, the communication was pretty lack luster. I would communicate to Valentina how I wanted something done and it would slip through the cracks and have to get redone, which delayed the project. I hired them because they are part of the "Trust Dale" network, but if I could do it over again, I'd hire a different company. The bulk of the work is satisfactory, but all of the finishing details that they missed is pretty disappointing.

The sales person Charlie met with me and took the appropriate measurements, was respectful of my time, and gave us plenty of options. Their professionalism was what sold me on the company--they were not trying to upsell me, or overcharge like other companies would (one other company gave us a 3 hour sales pitch and quoted 20k for the same six windows). Universal gave us a reasonable price and didn't take up unnecessary time. Eugeniy personally ordered the windows to the custom measurements, and when they arrived he brought one to store so that it wouldn't be damaged in transit. He had recommended that we install a new window in our exit door and it was the right call--that entire area looks much improved! The installers were prompt, professional, and the end result was clean, precise, and expertly done. Eugeniy himself came to check the quality of their work and made sure it was done to his standard before receiving the final payment. It is difficult to know who to trust with these projects--if you're looking for knowledgeable professionals who will meet your budgetary and time constraints, with great communication this is the company you want to go with. When it became air conditioning season again I thought there was a problem with the HVAC exterior plumbing. I called Nelson, spoke with Lassito, the General Manager, and asked him to come out and take a look. It turned out to be a "non problem", I was mistaken on the function, "Operator Error" on my part. It was reassuring to know that if I had a problem I could simply make a call and someone from Nelson would be out to look at the issue. I was impressed that they would care about their work enough to send someone out to inspect. How often does that happen nowadays? Going back to my original review, I had a great experience with Nelson Exteriors, from Jake, my salesman, Lyndsey and Lisa in the office to Jeff, the Project Manager for the renovations. They were prompt, courteous and had "can do" attitudes. They explained the process and followed through even with weather issues we encountered. I had rotted wood replacement, siding replacement, new gutters and complete painting. The attention to detail and quality of the work was outstanding. Once we started the remodel process everything was super easy and straightforward. The team did a great job on the work and even touched up the paint in some areas and hung a new light that I ordered. When I had a question about a gap between the waterfall and the wall, they immediately addressed it and the work is seamless - you can't even tell it's a false wall! The team also did a great job cleaning up after themselves each day when they left - they didn't leave so much as a speck of dust behind. I am in love with my new kitchen.

The technician found and repaired the flashing around the chimney. The issue was minor but I'm glad they identified and fix the problem before things got bad. I thought the price was very fair considering the amount of work they did. Overall, thank you for the inspection and repair team for fixing my issue. You guys went above and beyond to fix the repair my issue with minimal interruptions.

Hired BlueBuilt to install new gutters, fascia, and crown molding…read more They removed the old gutters, then planned to leave me without gutters for 5 days. To their credit, they scrambled to get a crew in sooner but had also left a dumpster in my driveway, blocking my garage, and junk in my yard, while I was being told to wait through rainstorms without gutters while other customers take precedent due to "scheduling issues". The dumpster was picked up but the dumpster they brought in was overkill and the removal truck put gashes in my driveway. Additionally, while i was paying for crown molding on the entire house, they initially left out a section that was only later installed (at 6:30am when I woke up to hammering on my bedroom wall) after much pulling of teeth. Also damaged existing soffit the first day, said they would replace, later said they would not, then did replace but scuffed up all of the painted fascia. Brackets for the old downspouts were remove, but the exposed wood was not repainted. I had to ask for these to be repainted and not all of them ever were. They try to do their best but do not have their own gutter crews, did not manage them the crews they had, and did not communicate almost anything to me. Also gave me three different project managers, none of who had much idea of what was going on at any time. Clean up was minimal. I cleaned up dozens of nails in my yard and driveway afterwards with a magnet.
