Chill neighborhood bar with a great list of beers. They have a lot of regular tables as well as high tops and it wasn't super crowded at 10pm on a sat night so it was a nice vibe. We got fries and Buffalo wings to nibble on, and they were tasty! Def will be back as regulars!

The Dive Bar has a large selection of beer for happy hour! The servers were quick and polite so we had multiple rounds trying different beers! They have daily happy hour specials which includes food as well. I definitely want to try their Monday burger special next time I visit.

Dive bar is cool, friendly, nice draft beer list. I only went for a drink I didn't eat but the food looked really good. It was a nice local spot to have a drink, hangout with friends and watch a game. Next time I'm definitely going to have some food. Yea nothing wrong with this place I would go back for sure.

First impression: Your typical neighborhood dive bar. Has plenty of TVs, plenty of people stopping by for a meal after work. The crowd is pretty diverse with people doing happy hour, coming to watch the game, blow off steam after work, meet up with friends for a drink, etc etc. After the Halloween Parade, my friend and I stopped in for some late night noms and a drink for her (not me I had work early the next morning). We ate at the bar and the bartender was really attentive (answered all her questions about the different beers they had on tap and helped her pick one out). Service was fast, prompt and no nonsense. For a quick late night meal, it was perfect. The Noms: I ordered chicken wings, bartender helped me pick out the carolina BBQ flavor, which was really good. The celery sticks that accompanied the wings were fresh and crisp, even at the end of the night. The food was a guilty late night meal but so worth it because it was no frills and everything you want and need at the end of a long day of work and night of Halloween festivities In Conclusion: I've come here for wings often before the pandemic but haven't been in almost two years due to lockdowns and pandemic restrictions... but glad I found my way back. 10/10 would recommend.

I dig and we dig. Ample selections of beers from all caliber. Food is also pretty good for a "Dive" bar. Service.... I mean seriously.. it's great. The ladies are always happy even with unruly customers. The bar guys are quick to respond and while I don't need a smile from them, maybe others do. Ha.. They check for Covid.. so bring ya sh1t ready.

Literally wandered in after a 4 hour happy hour at Calle Ocho up the block... Immedietly loved the place, a replica of a Belgium pub that I stumbled into years ago in Ghent..lots going on here, loved the festive lights. I can't remember the last time that a tap list was not overloaded with PIA's, and to create a flight out of Belgium beers was like a walk down memory lane! Duvell, Le Choffee..all old familiar friends prior to the US Craft Beer invasion. I remember when ordering a le fin du monde or a grimbergen double was as interesting as we were able to get. Friendly bartender, trivia was about to begin but it was a school night and we had a long journey home. Mama's Too is a block away as well... Looking forward to returning soon

single men drinking at the bar on a weekday afternoon. Crowd gets much larger and more diverse at night.

The food was good and drinks were too. The space and workers were also very accommodating. Clean bathrooms and everything. My place of employment wanted to book somewhere to have our holiday gathering after work for December 2025. I visited U Bar in person in late October to inquire about such an event for approximately 70 people. The host informed me to get in touch with the owner due to such a large amount of people and just wanted to ensure that it could be accommodated as needed. I had no problem with that and she gave me the business card, I bought some grilled chicken pasta Alfredo and headed home. As soon as I got home I spoke to the owner Eddy both via text and call. We spoke about what accommodations I would need, he said no problem. I reiterated to him that it was something that would be very informal and he told me that since it was on Friday, he would honor the "college Friday" deal that they have for college students for myself and colleagues as well. As you can imagine I was all for it, he booked it for December 19th at 4pm. He told me that he could open earlier for us, but just for the downstairs section which was perfectly fine. No hassle. After the call, I got an automated text stating that my reservation for "15" people had been booked and confirmed. I called him back immediately and told him that the reservation was for 70 problem as discussed, not 15. He told me not to worry that it'll be fixed in the system eventually but that I didn't have to worry about the glitch. I said okay fine. Keep in mind, this was late October this all transpired. Fast forward to December 11th 2025, I got an automated text stating that my reservation had been updated to 70 people. Not sure why it took a month and a half to "update" the number of people but I didn't care as long as the agreement we had had been met the day of. Then the VERY NEXT DAY on 12/12, I got an automated text stating that my reservation for 12/19 had been canceled altogether. Feeling understandably confused and annoying, I called U Bar at least 6 times to speak to someone to clear up what the confusion about the reservation is because I'm only a week out from the date of the event at this point. NO ONE picked up the phone but they were definitely open at the time. Remembering that I had Eddy's number from speaking to him prior, I called him to no answer but then texted him to explain my grievance. He then proceeded to respond back and say that the restaurant, managers as well as HIMSELF had been calling me prior to because I had two reservations booked. Now, keep in mind, I didn't actually make the reservation on my end, HE, the OWNER, made the reservation based on our conversation. I explained how disappointed I was that the reservation would be cancelled without notice. He informed me that he would speak to the manager about the situation. He hasn't gotten back to me. I then spoke to my best friend who had the idea of calling the restaurant and sneaking a merged call where I could speak to them. He did in fact get in contact with someone at U Bar (I heard it myself) but then the line disconnected. He called back immediately and no one picked up. No one there ever called me about having two reservations. I tend not to even believe that I had two reservations because ... 1. I never booked any reservation there on MY end. 2. Why didn't I receive an automated message about the "other" reservation that was allegedly booked as I had gotten about the one for the event? 3. The owner alleged that I had a reservation booked for both 12/12 (the day my original reservation was cancelled) AND 12/19 the actual day of the event. But even if I did have two reservations, what difference would that make? Am I not allowed to reserve a spot on multiple days? What would one reservation have to do with the other? None of it makes any sense. They will never see a DIME from me and what's worse is that I was ACTUALLY looking forward to my colleagues and I really visiting this place and getting the same care that I initially felt back in August. Now, I pray for the day this place becomes a parking lot. Unbelievably unprofessional.

The bartenders often have a weirdly grouchy "bro" energy that makes you feel like you're bothering them just by ordering a drink. Last fall, one guy was even playing music that sounded like a Christian radio station. The lyrics literally had the word "Lord" in them. It felt less like a neighborhood bar on the UWS and more like I'd wandered into a roadside bar somewhere in the Bible Belt. Another bartender always seems completely checked out. It's hard to flag him down, so we end up sitting there with empty drinks until he eventually notices. On our most recent visit it was a beautiful day outside, but we decided to sit inside since we were planning to order a bunch of food and settle in for a while. The basement was musty and dark and all the windows were shut. We politely asked if they could open a window or turn on the AC for a bit just to air it out. The response was a flat "No." That was it. When we asked why, he said if he did that someone else might complain, and then he just walked away. He kind of just waived us away, it was the weirdest interaction. That was the last time we overlooked the attitude. We normally like to hang out and spend $120-$150 here, but at that price we don't want to feel like we're an imposition.

It was a rainy Sunday so I was definitely happy seeing it wasn't packed! They have the main dining room and then the rooftop. I love how the main dining room has these massive windows that they keep open so it is a nice breeze coming thru and lots of natural light. We of course had to splurge on the bottomless brunch which I believe was 25$ for 90 mins and the choices are phenomenal. I love me a mimosa but I get tired of the orange juice flavor and let me tell you they got plenty of flavors to choose from. They have mango, passion fruit, strawberry, raspberry and peach!! And you could choose from either frozen margarita, mimosa or sangria. As for the entrees, I had the chilaquiles while my friend had the vegan chicken sandwich with home fries. If you know chilaquiles they are fried tortillas smothered in a delicious green or red sauce topped with fried eggs, cotija cheese, crema and red onions and what I got was definitely not that. It was looking more like nachos which I'm not mad at! As for my friend's sandwich, I am not vegan whatsoever but I love to try new things and that sandwich was delicious! So crispy and flavorful. I had never seen a vegan chicken sandwich on a menu before so kudos to them! The home fries were also amazing. Tons of paprika and caramelized onions. We definitely over stayed our welcome and left with our tummies full and heads buzzing ;)

We had the unfortunate idea to grab some food here as we enjoyed some games (btw it's $15 a person to play indefinitely as long as they have space for your group). We ordered the burger, chicken sandwich, Cajun fries, hummus and pita and tater tots. For such a spacious location, they must have a play kitchen because most of the food was inedible. The "best" thing about my chicken sandwich (three tenders- was not even a patty) was the brioche bread. The "best" thing about the hummus was the pita. My friend took two bites of the burger and felt sick. We thought we had been pranked but felt sad about throwing so much food away. Just don't do it. I don't want to think about this food ever again. This is a great grab and go/delivery alternative to Wonder, at much higher quality. The first time I ordered just aioli garlic fries to try the place out. they were hot, tasty, and a generous portion- just what I was craving coming home late. I then tried their special cheesesteak w brocolli and provolone which was also good and ordered chicken tenders for a friend. I tried my friend's chicken tenders and they were great so ordered those for my 3rd visit. They usually come 4 large tenders to an order with a sauce of your choice. A testament to their taste- I ate 2 and saved 2 for the next day and a family member visiting got to them before I did, and then asked where they were from to order more! I appreciate being able to have a selection of sauces to choose from and the portion size for the sauce is a larger cup than most places. The first time I ordered the tenders for my friend they had been sliced into- but that has not happened since and those tenders were especially large. It was their initial opening period and my guess is they did that to ensure the chicken was thoroughly cooked. The tenders were still hot and not dry.
