I'm genuinely heartbroken to write this review. Unfortunately, my sister and I had a deeply upsetting experience due to a racist comment made by one of the nail technicians. While the technician was doing my Gel-X nails, my sister was seated next to me for her appointment. I cheerfully said, "Oh, this is my sister!" The technician looked surprised and replied, "You don't look alike--your skin is better." Confused, I explained that I actually get more pimples and that my sister has clearer skin. She then said, "No, your skin is lighter, it's prettier." I was shocked, speechless, and disgusted. When I called her out, she deflected, blaming her "broken English." But to be clear--she repeated twice that my skin was prettier because of its lighter color. This was not a language barrier--it was colorism and racism, plain and simple. We will never return. If you're BIPOC, I strongly encourage you to think twice before coming here. No one should have to experience that kind of discrimination. Never again!! read more

My usual go-to nail salon was fully booked for the evening, but I desperately needed to get a new set of nails done. Based on the reviews, I decided to call Divas Nails & asked if they accepted walk ins and luckily they told me to just come in and I'd be helped out. I am so pleased with how fast I was assisted! Right when I walked in, I was attended to. I believe her name was Nicki who asked me what I was looking to get done today and soon after I was put in a chair to get my pedi done. Lam came to attend me and my nails! He did such a great job and I am so happy with them. I got pink French tip builder gel with a Hawaiian flower on my ring fingers. I am so thankful to have found this place. I have gotten gel X extensions here and my toes done and everything is meticulous and perfect and I never feel rushed. They let me pay with a credit card too which is a blessing. Cute, peaceful salon with Asian music videos (Vietnamese?) playing in the background. They take walk-ins too! I haven't been here in over a year. I don't live very close to this location, but when I do come to the area, I definitely like to come here. I had Tiffany this time. I can't remember who I had last time, BUT SHE WAS AMAZING. Tiffany did a great job, though. She was very focused on me as her client. Not chatty with the other staff, which is a big pet peeve of mine. She checked with me throughout the process to make sure I liked what she was doing. I appreciated that. Nothing worse than seeing the end result only to find they shaped them, not how you like, missed cuticle or left them too long or too short. I'm glad I stopped by. Will look forward to the next time I'm in town and can come here. The price is right here, too. $40 regular mani/pedi, $10 for callus removal, and $5 for buffing. You do get a 10% off if you check in with Yelp... so yay to that. But don't do it until you are in the presence of the tech and they can watch. I did it while waiting, then screenshot it in case it didn't pull up again (which it didn't), and they were giving me a hard time about using it. They accused it of being an old picture, and I showed them the time stamp on it, and they still called the manager to "get approval." So for that, I'm not happy and probably would deduct 1/4 star for it. I didn't like the feeling of being called a cheater... but I get it. I guess. They want to make money, but hey, I want to save money. In the end I got the discount so that's good. The place is clean and inviting as well, which is always a plus. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! This was hands down the best pedicure I've ever had. From start to finish, the service was absolutely top tier. The staff was so kind and welcoming, offering us drinks right away and making sure we felt pampered the whole time. I brought my friend here as a birthday treat to get her nails done, and the way they went above and beyond melted my heart. Not only did they sing happy birthday to her, but they surprised her with a candle and froyo! It was honestly the cutest thing ever. We were both so touched. OMG, it was my first time at diva nails, and the experience was great, but for some reason, I am incredibly obsessed with the massage chair. That sent my entire experience through the roof. I've been to a lot of salons and this is hands-down the best massage chair I've ever sat in. That paired with the pedicure experience was amazing. The person who did my pedicure was so gentle, meticulous and nice. This place offers a lot of different pedicure options, including paraffin wax. The place is clean and nice as well. When I mentioned that the water smelled horrible during my pedicure, she knew it was from the pinning and found it disgusting. She went back and added some oil, but it still didn't smell good. I dont usually get my nails done.. really every blue moon. I wanted to get them done for my birthday. When I called I asked for an appointment at 9am today when they opened and asked for prices for both a regular pedicure & gel x set manicure.. was told $28 & $60 and I said "ok $60?". Then received confirmation. I came in on time and was quickly taken in.. got my pedicure the girl was sweet and lovely and I was struggling on what design for my nails. I showed the nail lady two options and ultimately we chose the second, she said it was really cute and I asked, "can you do this?" She said yes no problem. Trying to be mindful because some dont or cant do certain designs which is fine. As theyre being done I realize the pink is off & im pretty sure she chose the pink next to the one I picked but fine because it didnt look bad just not exactly what I hoped for but still cute. As she was doing the VERY MINIMAL french tip I notice it definitely doesn't look like the picture and I was patient thinking she was going to add more but didnt and we ended up finishing. At that point I was a little frustrated but I remained kind because the nails arent terrible but also not what I wanted. I go up to pay and ask for my total and Im told $80 and at that point im TAKEN BACK. I let them know that I was told 60 and then they threw in, "oh well thats the starting price" I tell them thats why I confirmed & that they should relay that to people as people DONT usually know especially given that I dont get mine done often. Regardless i still wanted to know how we jumped a FULL $20. My nail lady, the receptionist & now what seemed to be maybe the owner are all around me and theyre explaining that french tip is an additional $15 and when I got my nails done there the last time I got a french tip and it was NOT that price. (I understand upping prices) but they tried to say its been $15 and maybe 2/3 years ago it was $10.. I ended up looking back at my zelle and it was indeed NOT $80. Regardless now theyre telling me french tip is $15 which is $75 NOT $80. So im STILL being overcharged which is WRONG. Many nail places always LIE about prices and try to sneak in a few extra dollars which is why I always call and ask prior to coming in. So now im being overcharged, lied to & not only that but respectfully these are NOT $75 nails. Theres BARELY a french tip and apparently just one color on the nail is $60 which thats damn near my nails because you can barely see the french tip. I end up tipping for my toes but accidentally gave $80 for my nails which I shouldn't even have paid truthfully but Im not that person. The owner ended up coming out to my car and giving me the $5 because I accidentally sent $80 and did apologize and I will say she was very kind and apologetic and definitely heard me. But the others in the salon just seemed like they wanted an extra buck. As someone who doesnt get their nails done, COMMUNICATE with your customers and dont just assume they know things and if you CANT do a design then say so and stop trying to charge more than what the price actually is. Absolutely upsetting as now I have to sit with these nails that I PAID for that im not even necessarily happy with. (Also the one nail that has the extra design I said we didnt have to do just the multiple lines of the french tip) Like I said theyre not terrible but trying to treat myself the one time and end up with this. Wanted to add this in , its a couple days later .. not even a week and MULTIPLE nails have fallen off. This place is a joke. read more

Crazy how inconsistent customer service and their pricing can be within a 3 month span. Today's manicure just felt very backwards from beginning to end... to top it off our nail tech kept arguing with me when I questioned why she was doing one nail at a time rather than do the entire hand and reducing my time under the UV machine. She argued when I asked why she was started to paint and do my nails without first doing the cuticles etc. saying that this is how they all and always do it. I frequently get my mani pedi done... infact I have frequented this location a few times since December and have only had two unpleasant experiences this one being the second. The first wasn't too bad, the girl was nice but my nails were all different shapes and cuticles were cut where I was left bleeding. Also, I typically get the mani pedi and I do the spa packages... I have never paid more than $120 for both and this of course doesn't include tip. Today, for the bio gel hunny bunny manicure it was a charge of $55 + 1 if you use card. If you do a package they were going charge another $30. When did this change? Last time I came I got the $35 mani package, got up charged $15 to make it gel. If I would have wanted bio gel at that time it would have cost an extra $5. They need to be transparent with their pricing. They need to retain customers and they need to not engage in active going back and forth with the customer. I repeatedly had to ask my nail tech to just finish the work as I just didn't want to engage because she could tell I was upset. I was there with a friend who I was trying to have a conversation and I commented that this was a very strange way of doing my nails etc. She and other workers began to talk in their language to what I can only assume is to talk about me but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. I kept the name of the nail tech out for her sake but this isn't the first time she has been argumentative towards me. I chose to say something today because I hope they improve in all mentioned above but especially customer service. In response to the owner: I respect all salon pricing. Infact, I previously took the time to review your facility. However the change in price is significant. I definitely know I don't have the ability to walk in to any place and pay what I think I should pay. I'm a little disappointed with tonight's service and your response. Best of luck. read more

I got my nails done on Monday the nail polish started chipping by the 3 day not even last a full week. I paid 98 dollars for very short nails and one color for both toes and nails. read more

Can I give a 3.something - like a 3.8. It wasn't totally 4-stars but Diva nail came through in a clutch! They were able to take me day of and gave me a Gel-X set (pictured below). Service was friendly. I received a lot of complements on my set- which lasted over three weeks. They looked clean from the top, but the bottom/underside had a lot of overhang, which I wish the lady would have drilled off, it looked sloppy. Also some of the nails were initially out in crooked (they were fixed), but one nail had to be pried off like two times after the glue had already set and it was painful as #*}^! If it wasn't for this Divas would have blown me away. But like I said, I did receive a ton of complements on my nails so it wasn't so bad. read more
