The liners used for the pedi basin leaves you feeling secure in keeping health standards high. The pillows to put your arms for rest while getting a manicure or fill is nice to keep you comfortable. Just tried them out because it's close to where I live and I wanted to see if it would be worth the shorter drive. The nice thing is appt not needed and I was seen within minutes of walking in. The…read moreluminary manicure is supposed to last longer so I thought this was a great option even though it's more expensive than a traditional manicure or gel. First off the luminary manicure has very limited colors, all beige, skin color and very light pink. I was concerned my natural nails would show but Zoe said they would t (they do from my perspective) but that was ok. In reading the info it said the luminary gel was a soak off option so it didn't damage your nails, not so. I am adverse to the drill file and that was used for the cuticle and top of the nail and when I get them redone that is how they "fill" the luminary gel just to let people know so they are not thinking there is no drilling. Both those thing were not the problem though. She asked if I wanted all my nails even up to my broken nail I said no they were even up to my broken nail, she basically said they will grow out by the time I need a fill. Irregardless that's not what I wanted. That's not the real problem either, it was frustrating but not the issue. As I was walking out, I noticed the underside of my nails were filthy. I have never paid $70 for a manicure and had the underside of my nails not be cleaned. I was picking the attached that was after I picked the dirt out from under my nails. there were areas of cut cut. There were several that were not straight or filed properly. You can see the attached pictures but there's areas next to my cuticle. They don't look good for manicure. It should've looked much better than it did. I could have had this caliber of service at my local nail studio in the strip mall. This was suppose to be a high end manicure and that was not the experience I had.
