5 stars because I believe they have improved. I've been going back and forth between Diva Nails and another place for over year and I always get better results from this place. I've included a few pictures for reference (milky white set is the most recent). The simple gray set was $45 and that's their base price for a new acrylic set plus gel polish. The lavender gel polish with gold flakes was $50. And the milky white set was $60, because they used acrylic powder for the milky look plus the glitter. (Note: all of the sets were done by different ladies and none of them were Kristy; plus I was a walk-in client) Based on all of my experiences with Diva nails, I wish they took the time to drill off the extra acrylic powder around my cuticles and under the nails for a cleaner finish. I notice that they do go back and file and drill a bit under the nails, but I always leave with a couple nails that could've had more work done to them. So with the most recent set, I did ask the lady to file more and remove excess powder under my nails, and she was more than happy do it as she was doing my pedicure. They were also great at following the CDC guidelines. They took our temperature before allowing us inside, seated each client 6 ft apart, and provided hand sanitizer and masks. Plus, it's pretty clever that they use portable clothes racks with plastic shields to further protect the clients and themselves. SET DIDN'T EVEN LAST A WEEK. I have been getting my nails done for years now and I understand that you take the risk when it comes to long nails that they can be more easily broken. When I am at fault I will gladly pay for my nails to be fixed. I got my nails done last Wednesday 6/12/19, it's now a week later 6/19/19 and four nails have fallen straight off! As you can see from my nails they did not crack or leave pieces behind they popped straight off nail intact as if the glue was no good. It's super frustrating and a waste of time and money. I called to complain and they offered to fix them for me (at the time had three broken nails) right after this phone call yet another nail popped off. At this point I've decided to go somewhere else and get a brand new set. Will not be returning! read more

I went in this morning with my sister for the first time and had high hopes because of all the great reviews and really nice IG post! I asked for an ombré french tip with sparkly ring fingers. They told me it was possible even though I had short nails but I had to do the dip powder. At the end I was really disappointed because it took her almost 2 hours and there was no French tip it was just a nude color! *See photos attached* My sister also went as well and they messed up her coffin shape. *There were also two other ladies there complaining of the shape that they had messed up* At the end we didn't end up paying for the HORRIBLE service! Some lady who I'm guessing was the manager was yelling across the room saying that "this is the correct way" so I responded "I'm not going to argue with you across the room" When I went to pay for my pedicure she threw my credit card at the table and I told her she was rude and then she proceeded to say "never come again, we have your face on the camera" I have NEVER experienced such bad customer service!!! I've given this place too many chances. I went in to get a full set & a pedicure for my upcoming graduation ceremony. I decided to give this place another shot but it will definitely be the last time I ever come here. As shown in the photos, the lady who worked on my hands placed the tips way too high, looking very unnatural and unaligned with my nail. My nail is not even entirely covered in powder. My cuticle on my finger was cut & bled out badly & all the nail tech does is giggle and say "sorry." The other lady who worked on my pedicure was doing well until I saw she used the same NAIL FILE to scrub the bottom of my feet and to scrub off white nail polish she got on the top of my foot. Let me tell you, it was not a pleasant feeling & it was unsanitary. I then get home and notice that my toe is bleeding onto my white nail & down to my sandal! That was the absolute last straw for me. I'm done coming here. It's unfortunate that I spent a good amount & am insecure about my nails for such a special occasion. I was not given anything for the inconvenience. Beware going to this place. This place was my go-to nail salon for MONTHS. The employees were super nice and welcoming in the beginning, but slowly & surely, they started becoming obnoxious and rude to their customers. Don't get me wrong, the work that was done on me was phenomenal. The more times that I visited, the more that I noticed they were having customers come back saying their nails broke after a couple days. I still stayed as a regular customer, until I found out the one guy who did my nails absolutely the way I wanted it, Brandon, wasn't working there anymore. However, I have been treated rudely as I kept coming back. As a regular customer, you would think that they would still appreciate you for coming in and trusting them to handle you, but I slowly started noticing that they were becoming rude and careless with their customers and didn't care what quality was given, as long as you paid the full price. Here are some photos of the amazing work they have done on me, but I will not go back to such a poorly-mannered salon. My bestie and I get our nails done pretty often, so we do know what to expect and how the service should be done. 1. My bestie went in for acrylic fillings and new paint color. The nail tech burned her fingers multiple times. My friend said, "Ouch it burns." The nail tech never said sorry and continued to burn her. Even after the burning, she was lacking attention to detail and quality. Filling did not have round smooth edges and the nail painting was sloppy. As you can see in the 3 photos. And then to make the experience even worst, my bestie was cut during a pedicure. At least this nail tech was nice enough to say sorry. MY EXPERIENCE WAS....just ok. Both nail techs that did my pedi + mani was really nice and sweet. Most nail salons don't use brand new heel scrubbing tool on a client. But here they did, which I really like. My gel manicure looks good. And my Pedicure looks good. Overall, this place is ok. Its over priced for lack of detailing and quality in services performed. Will we come back? Maybe not. I called early today and asked for an appointment at 7pm since I had a lot to do today. At 530 I called and asked if I could come in early and they said yes they had an opening. I got there @545 and @555 they sat me in a chair with nobody at the station. I thought they were in the back and were going to come out. It's now almost an hour and nobody has come to do my nails. When I asked they said she was almost done with her client. 2 girls have sat in other techs stations and are getting full sets, they came in after I was seated at the station and I'm still waiting. Now @7 I'm finally seeing someone. I wish they would have told me to wait at home and I could have gotten more things done and not just sat around. I finally left @8 after getting there @530. I'm glad with how my nails turned out but not for the price. I was told 27$ then 5$ for matte top coat. Then was told it's 40$ because of the coffin shape and color acrylic. read more

So I posted a few months ago when I first started coming here and I wanted to write something new because literally this place is AMAZING! You walk in the door and are always greeted/recognized. The staff is super friendly and the environment is really laid back. However the true gem of this shop is KRISTY! The woman literally puts the artist in nail artist ‍! Everytime I have come here I could not be treated better, guess that's why I keep coming back. I'm always satisfied with my shape, color and over all appearance with my nails and I leave with them looking on point! And if I don't like something guess what I just tell them and they fix it right then and there! I get cuticle treatments like every 3 months and have never experienced them cutting me or cuticle tearing afterwards like some places. These ladies not only know their stuff but take time and pride in their work. 5 stars for the service I have personally have received, but I have been here multiple times where I have witnessed poor service to others. This is my go to nail spot when I want acrylics. I don't have a specific lady (maybe I've gotten lucky) but they have all done a good job. The issues I've witnessed: -Kristy being super late to a lash appointment. I understand Vietnamese so I hear them telling the customer in English that she'll be there any minute, but then they talk in Vietnamese and say that she is going to be really late -One of Kristy's customer had a chipped nail and came in to get them redone. Kristy was busy so another lady did it for her and said it would be $5. The customer said Kristy told her it would be free of charge, but the worker pushed back, saying Kristy didn't fix it (and Kristy didn't step in) so the customer ended up paying -My sister actually had a terrible set of acrylics from one of the male workers. But to his defense, she's very particular and wanted it super sort and a different shape. So communication issue on their part? But he was getting pretty impatient and unprofessional with her Overall though, with these inexpensive Vietnamese places, go with low expectations. You pay for what you get read more

Only persists on asking if I'm getting designs on my nails. She had me stand there and didn't offer me to sit until I asked more than once mind you I had to already drive all the way over here. Came in without an appointment one afternoon. Place is pretty small, about four pedicure chairs and five seats for manicures; however, the place is super clean and modern! They are currently running specials where they give you 30% off services! Everyone is super friendly, especially the owner Kristy! They have a wide range of gel colors, powder colors, glitters (try out the rockstar glitters or pixie dusts), Swarovski crystals (like literally every shape and color), etc. If you don't know what you want, don't be afraid to ask for suggestions! Btw you can show they any picture you want and they will easily be able to replicate it! Nancy filled my nails and did a wonderful job shaping them! It was $31 (after the discount it was $22) for a fill, $5 for the coffin shape, and an additional $20 for the two nails with the designs on it. I hate writing bad reviews, but when your fingers are BLEEDING and CUT OPEN, I think it's necessary. I came back today because my gel nails that were done last Monday were peeling off from the bottom and some were chipping. I called and the owner Kristy was kind enough to say that they would redo the nails that were coming off. So the lady who did my nails last Monday redid all of my nails today, but I could tell she was PISSED OFF. She took the nail file and angrily scraped the file against my nails AND SKIN very harshly and fast to take off the underlying gel nail polish. It was VERY PAINFUL. After that she sloppily applied the gel nail polish on my fingers and AGAIN used the nail file to SCRAPE MY NAILS AND FLESH RECKLESSLY. I saw bloody cuts everywhere and she quickly wiped it away with a cotton ball. She also split open the skin on my left pinky and I saw that one burst and gush open with blood. I could tell she got scared and tried to wipe the blood away. It was PAINFUL and still stings. I had to put Neosporin on it after I got home. Let's just hope I don't get an infection. I would NOT recommend getting your nails done by this lady who is in my opinion rude and cruel. (She wears a lot of makeup and has a daughter who is probably around 10) Last Monday when I first came, this lady didn't do a very good job of painting my gel nails, but I wasn't complaining because I only paid $30 for a mani pedi with gel on the hands. I was thinking "you get what you pay for." But a few days later, some of my nails were starting to peel off because I guess this lady painted over my skin around the nail too. Honestly I had some streaks and bubbles on the nails and some were uneven, but I didn't want to complain because for this price, I don't expect much. But after coming in today and having my fingers abused and cut open, I think it is acceptable for me to complain. Also when I first came in, this lady angrily said that I had come two weeks ago, but I actually came exactly last Monday. I could've show her the date on my receipt but I didn't want to piss her off even more. Anyways the owner Kristy seemed very nice and I wish she had done my nails instead. I don't recommend having the lady who did my nails. She doesn't know how to paint nails and I think I would have done a better job than her. I went into this salon to get a full set, and gel pedicure. They had to remove my previous nails, which I know most places will charge a fee for that, but the price I paid for the quality of work I received is ridiculous. $110 for: Acrylic nail removal, full set, and gel pedicure? Money wasn't the issue, but the fact that they felt it would be okay to charge that for subpar service. I had to end up filing my nails by myself to get them looking normal. They were short, and no bling nothing. I've paid that price and come out with long nails that are beautiful. Not short basic nails. I had such a nice lady help me, her name was...ugh I can't remember but she was super nice & made me feel so good. & the owner is really friendly & funny. When I came in they had a special but it was still pretty pricey. Customer service is good it's just the wait & the space that is bad. This nail salon isn't big so it gets crowded pretty easily. I don't write reviews that often but I loved my nails so much today I had to. These sexy nails got me feeling some type of way!!!!! I'm so glad that I found Diva Nails! Kristy is hands down the BEST. I've been to quite a few nail salons in my area and I would say she is my favorite of all. She is an expert at shaping my nails making my hands look feminine and slender. Other places don't shape them correctly and I hate how large the nail looks. At Diva Nails I don't have to worry about that! Kristy is always so careful to ask "Is the shape okay?" and "If there is something you want me to fix let me know". She also has tons and tons of gel polish and matching regular polish to choose from. I always walk out feeling happy because she gets them right every time.
