Mary is absolutely fabulous too. This is *not* the salon for epic nail art or crazy 3d things (that's far and few between in JH) though Julie can honestly really throw it down! It does take some learning of how they work and who to go to in my opinion to have a great experience here - and I can see why out of town visitors may be turned off compared to their own local nail salon at home. Service requested was not what I received. Very unprofessional. I went with my daughter for manicure and pedicure. My daughter received a very nice pedicure, my technician was on her phone for the first ten minutes and then did not give the services I had asked for, but my daughter received them. During the manicure while my daughter was getting her hands wrapped in paraffin, the nail tech put my daughter's hair up and stuck her hand down the back of her shirt trying to give her a massage. She was extremely rough and it was very uncomfortable. I wanted the paraffin and had asked for it, but instead received a lecture on my thin nails. This place was... awful I got a gel mani and reg pedi and the total came out to $110 - like in what world? I had to tell the tech to add another coat of polish because she gave me two very streaky coats of polish and called herself done with my toes. I had to walk to the nail station barefoot because they DO NOT have the disposable flip flops and when I asked for a fan to help my toes dry they were like "we don't have that" My gel mani was a mess! My nails were painted sloppily and when i asked her to clean them up she chopped off my cuticle and I left the salon bleeding and with cut cuticle hanging off my nails. I feel ripped up for $110 and have spent considerably less in places like New York, DC, and Los Angeles for way better service. Do yourself a favor and have a girls night with YouTube tutorials and Amazon manicure products and have your homegirls give you a mani / pedi. Pedicure was fine. Manicure was terrible. Very asymmetrical and lots off fuzz left after the gel was cured. After showing all of the mistakes, I was only give a $5 discount. Wouldn't come here again for manicures. read more

Wow! I skipped out on this salon because of the low ratings and went to the one on Broadway . What a mistake! After that bad experience, I asked a friend who's from town and she told me to come here. Thao took care of my acrylic, gel nails and they look amazing! He was dedicated to every detail and did a beautiful job. He was extremely friendly and kind. The nail tech for my pedi was Ted and also friendly, kind and extremely great with the deluxe pedicure. He was very detailed and caring. I came in for a pedicure hoping for a better experience than I remembered. Unfortunately things are still the same here. You are constantly pressured to spend more even after kindly rejecting. It's seems as if they get upset that you aren't spending enough so they don't do a good job. All I wanted was simple white toes but that seems like too much of a difficult task. I was constantly communicating that she was not doing my toes correctly. When I pointed out to another employee that my nails were filed crooked he said "no one is going to see it". The owner Kim was super friendly and did a great job of my pedicure. She even let me bring my French Bulldog into the salon (she happens to have one too)!. Eventually, she and the other nail techs learned that I'm Vietnamese American and asked me a ton of friendly questions about when my parents got here and where I was born and if I spoke Vietnamese (I speak very, very poorly). I go to the register to pay and whoever rang me was UNPROFESSIONAL and RUDE! She asked where my parents live. I said "In CA. Near Orange County" which has a huge Viet population. She then says in a snarky tone "Why you don't speak Vietnamese, you from Orange County?!" She just ruined my experience there. I would go back to Kim but will refuse to be rung up by the rude nail tech, who just took my credit card and didn't bother to tell me how much she was charging. read more

I've tried all the nail salons in Jackson over the last decade...Diva remains the most consistent. When getting a speciality service they try their best and the summer work is what you would get in LA or San Diego as a lot of the techs work seasonally! They're very good!!! I have been going to Divas for years and it has steadily gotten dirtier and dirtier and the people care less and less. It took 1 1/2 hrs to do a pedicure because the owner's husband couldnt stop jumping up to answer calls and look around. And despite my obvious displeasure, no one apologized and, along w a gel manicure that they did while the pedicure was being attempted, it cost me $75! I wont go back. They arent the only ones in town and even one of the workers told me to try somewhere else! It used to be spa like. Now it is less than a dirty factory feel. read more

My husband tried to surprise me with a pedicure at Diva Nails. We went in this afternoon for the pedicure When I sat in the pedicure chair and felt the water in the basin, it was COLD. DH's basin was also cold. When we pointed it out to the staff, the acted like were were asking for something very special in requesting warm water for our pedicures. Their excuse was "we were busy earlier." We got up to leave because there is no way we were going to have a pedicure in cold water. The staff then said "5 minutes and we will have hot water" so we decided to give it a shot. Twenty minutes later, after they filled the basins with water from the water fountain (yes, the water fountain you drink from), we sat down again. The water was still cold. I told the manicurist about it and she took on a major attitude, like having warm water for a pedicure is an unusual request. Then a very rude receptionist told us not to come back if we were going to be difficult. No worries, Diva Nails. We won't be back and will tell everyone we know not to go there. Having warm water for a pedicure is a must, and I really don't care how busy you were earlier. read more

I was visiting Jackson on holiday- Typical Asian nail salon. I was in and out in about 25 minutes for a regular manicure with polish. I did have hangnails still left on my cuticles and all my nails began breaking deep into the quick one week later. There is a very small selection of colors. read more

I've been to almost every nail salon in JH and this was the worst experience I've ever had. One of my friends nails looks awful and wasn't done properly (colors are mixed and the previous dip wasn't removed). They attempted to upcharge for the pedicures and then when we disagreed that that was not the correct price the younger man pulled up security footage which still didn't prove the price. He then accused us of lying and threatened to call the police while we were trying to pay. Not to mention we had an appointment for 4 pm and none of us got started for at least an hour after that time. Save your money and your time and go to Pro nails, they are great! read more

I went in at the beginning of spring break(April 2021). The woman who owns the salon did my pedicure which honestly took max 15 minutes. She cut it short so she could get other people in. It was by far the worst pedicure I've had. Oh and she charged me more than she told me it would be. I will never go back. read more

They took time doing my nails and didn't rush it, and I was able to book an appointment the day before and get in and out fairly quick with a manicure and a pedicure! I've been in 3 times now and the first time I paid $40, then $45, and then this last time $50 for gel... I was okay with paying the money because when I left they looked nice and he did it fairly quick.. 3 days later one of my nails totally broke because he drilled to much and then the day after one chipped. I've worked at 2 high end spas and we charged $35 and it would last for 3 weeks! Not even a week in and my nails just look terrible. Their main concern is getting as many customers through as possible, when it should be providing every customer with a quality mani or pedi. I asked the woman doing my nails to please even out the tops of my nails 3 times, because they were slanted. Every time she was visibly annoyed. After the 3rd time she scoffed at me. Even after 3 times of filing the tops of my nails they were still uneven. I got tired of getting attitude for asking for what I was paying for to be done correctly. They speak to each other in their language and don't even ask how you are. While I was there a older man walked in asking if they sold a product that he didn't close correctly for his wife and dried up. They told him they didn't sell that and very rudely just walked away from him and ignored him afterwards. I would happily pay more for better service. read more

This is a busy salon where people seem to go for fast and inexpensive service. If you want a full massage and a quiet relaxing atmosphere, it will probably cost double in this town and you will have to go elsewhere. I got a standard manicure with polish and it looks great! Avoid at all costs. Last evening I stopped in and chose the $50 "Deluxe" pedicure from their menu with pedi's ranging from $35 to $65. The pedicure was fine - no complaints. When I went to pay the exact same thing happened that they convinced me was a "mistake" the last time I was there. The cashier said "your total is $60." I corrected him and told him I chose the Deluxe at $50. He replied that I had in fact been given the Super Deluxe and that the technician must have "misunderstood " me when I came in. Fool me once...... I paid the $60 and reduced her tip from the $10 I would have given her to $5. Problem here is that they are used to dealing with tourists on ski trips who they think they will not get repeat business from. They can easily rip these people off with their insidious sales techniques and not suffer any consequences. I live here permanently and will never visit the salon again. Unethical people. read more

It was my birthday yesterday so a girlfriend and I decided to treat ourselves to a mani/pedi. It was the worst experience I have ever had in a nail salon! We were seated next to each other for our pedicures which was nice so we could chat. But just after they started our pedis two other people came over and started on our manis. I don't mind them soaking off my old gel polish but I sure don't like being rushed thru a pedi with them doing my entire mani at the same time! It was hard to keep up with directions from two different people while trying to have a conversation with a friend. There was NOTHING relaxing about it! And after all was done my friend had polish all around her skin and cuticles! I also want to add that not once since we arrived did anyone speak English other than to ask what we wanted!
