The changing room was a little basic but the soap in the showers was wonderfully scented and moisturizing. The changing room was also very well heated which I appreciated. Only minor complaints: no lotion in the changing room?? the lockers were a tad small for all the winter gear I had to remove and I would have liked water after steaming - maybe a water bottle outside the door??

The salon was clean, sanitary and comfortable. My manicurist did stop during my manicure to get another client started with soaking off their gel. However, it didn't feel rude, rushed or disrespectful, not to mention the pedicurist continued working on my pedicure and I never felt like either technician missed a beat. The job generally felt rushed- this would be okay if the quality was also fine. One of my gel nails chipped within 24 hours of getting them done. Massive disappointment. The pricing was not bad at all, especially for a touristy area. But I guess you get what you pay for- cheap prices + rushed services = issues with product which I unfortunately faced. This place, I believe, would be solid if you're getting a super simple mani pedi last minute, need a single or two nails repaired, but would not suggest for full service if you're looking for a quality over price.

Several of our nails weren't completely painted and there was bubbling and lumps on many. There was no buffing so the edges were all rough from the emery board she used to file the nails almost completely down (no clippers). The manager was quick to respond and stated she would discount my service and I would see it in a few days. She was appropriately responsive and apologetic. That was on July 14. It is now August 7th and the manager has stopped responding to my messages and we have not seen any refund in our bank. It is disappointing that she has not acted in the good faith she promised. I suppose since we were traveling guests she realized that our return visit wouldn't be affected. My family does plan to return to the Resort the salon is located on, but we will not be using the salon again. The gal that performed the service was VERY friendly but stated she was a massage therapist. I was informed when I booked that I would not have a nail tech, but that we would love the results. I was not expecting a full and beautiful mani/pedi for my daughter and me, but this experience wasn't even decent. Again, the gal was very nice. But the value of the service fell far below the price. I do not recommend this salon unless you are with a known specialist. And even then, I do not have faith that management will professionally handle complaints if your experience requires any intervention.
