Jaime knows curly hair. For YEARS I have been fighting my curly hair. Just got my hair cut and for the first time l actually love my curls. One of the best haircuts ever. It wasn't just the cut, it was the product she used. And she didn't push it on me, I asked about it and it made a night and day difference in my hair. I come out here for the summers and Brooke (my stylist) always did an excellent job. Plus she's a very kind-hearted person. This summer, 2021, I've been unable to get a reply back regarding getting an appointment. I even stopped by there one day during the week and no one was around ... peeked in and did notice that all of the usual salon equipment was still present. Most pretentious while also being a parking lot basement salon. The waxing lady yelled at me for being late, even though I called to confirm on the address since they're kinda hard to find being in a post war bunker below the street (under the alleyway). Once I finally found the place, I told her I was sorry for being late (moved here last month) and I could totally understand if it wasn't feasible. Her response was, "Well I only have 20 min so I'll do as much as I can, but I won't know until I see you." She ushered me into the room and started laying into me about how I should just take what I can get because she had other apts and personal plans and how could I not know where they were and how did I not receive the confirmation email (pulled up my contact info, shoved it in my face to ask me if it was correct -yikes-) and how she was about to call me because I was late (which would have been great since I was lost, which she made a point to put me down for opening the wrong door when I arrived *how could I not see the open sign*). Mind you, it was a handful of employees sitting on chairs waiting for something to do. Wowza. I politely declined. Didn't feel like letting that angry lady near me with hot wax. read more

Brooke is absolutely amazing! She is super intuitive with color, cuts, and styling, and is hands down the best person to go to for natural-looking highlights (or vibrant colors!) in the area. I have had some awful experiences with highlights in Jackson and Brooke took the time to figure out exactly what I was looking for, and fixed what I thought was pretty un-fixable color. She is such an awesome reminder that hair is supposed to be fun, and that you're supposed to walk out of a salon smiling and feeling great. My husband has even mentioned that she does awesome color work (and that is not something he would usually point out). She is also an extremely talented stylist (check out her wedding styles!), and is one of the nicest and most heartfelt people that I know! If I could give her 10 stars I would. read more

I cannot describe how wonderful this salon and the ladies who work here are! My wedding planner suggested this salon for my destination wedding that took place a couple of weeks ago. I called and spoke to them and set up appointments for on site hair and makeup for myself and my step-daughter the day of the wedding and mani-pedis for us at the salon the day before, with eyelash extensions for me as well. We had no trouble finding the salon and we were ushered right in to a clean and relaxing salon with lots of laughter between everyone. The lady who did our nails (forgive me, I cannot remember her name) was absolutely friendly and charming and wonderful. She was very gentle with my step daughter, who had badly sprained her ankle and was on crutches. Jamie, the owner, was to do my lashes while my step-daughter got her mani-pedi. She got in and started asking me questions and determined that I had not ever had extensions before and that it was for my wedding the next say. To her credit, she was hesitant to do the lashes as there is a slim possibility of an allergic reaction to the adhesive. She even went so far as the show me pictures of that a reaction looks like. It's awful! She said she didn't want to be responsible for ruining my wedding, which I whole-heartedly appreciate! After some discussion she offered to do a small trial run of a few eyelashes just to see if I would react and if I didn't, she WOULD COME IN TWO HOURS EARLY the next morning to do my lashes before my hair and make up appointment. Thankfully I didn't have a reaction and true to her word she came in early and did my lashes and they were GORGEOUS! After my eyelashes were done, I went back to the condo and Brooke arrived to do our hair and make up. She is absolutely the sweetest thing that ever walked the planet. She made it such an enjoyable experience and we both looked amazing! After a lovely two week honeymoon in remote Montana with no internet or cell service we headed back south for a couple of days before flying out to head home to podunk SC. It suddenly occurred to me I had no idea where I was going to get my eyelashes filled in back in BFE SC. The salon closed 20 minutes prior to us getting into town so I sent Jamie a text to see if there was an off chance she could see me the next day (the day before we flew out). She called me back right away and it turns out that she was booked. So what did this Angel of Eyelashes do? She came in early for me. Again! She even sent a text the next day saying how nice it was to meet us and wishing us safe travels as we headed home. I have rarely ever experienced such wonderful customer service and all around just amazing experience. If you are a local or are in town visiting I cannot reconmend this place enough. My husband and I love this town and we are already planning our next trip out here. You better believe I will be back in this salon when we get here!! read more
