I've been going to Diva Den for about 5 years because the atmosphere is really something special. It is such a positive, encouraging place to be with some of the funnest classes I've ever attended (Dance Party Hustle is my favorite!). Unfortunately I can't go as much as I'd like due to the location, but I still love it whenever I can fit the commute in to my week.

I went to Diva Den a few years back and really liked it a lot. I didn't return for awhile because the location for me isn't that convienient, but when I saw a living social deal, I thought I would go again. First of all they have a free week trial, that they let you use even if you have been there before. I made good use of that, taking two classes almost everyday for the week. I am going to start using my deal, this week which is good for 20 fitness classes, an aerial yoga class, and one pole class. The classes are fun and unique. Just what I need, because doing the same thing over and over again bores me. I really liked the Cardio Strip Teeze class. It doesn't feel like working out, but you sure sweat and the next day I was sore! The Buti and Circuit City classes with Rosie were hard, but I still enjoyed them. All the classes I have taken so far have been great. The employees and teachers there are really awesome. Everyone is so friendly and everyone looks like they are having fun. After my first day there, a girl said to me, "wow, I have never been to a gym before where everyone leaves smiling." I replied back to her, "I think that's because these classes are fun and they don't feel like torture!" We both laughed. Now, instead of dreading going to the gym, I look forward to it!

Rosella the drill sergeant and Keli kill me week after week and I'm totally feeling (and seeing!) the results.

We had never done hot yoga, it was difficult to keep up with the class when we didn't know how to do anything, but we were able to look around for the most part and do everything. Our instructor was very encouraging, created a nice atmosphere and we spotted our butts off. They have many levels of classes, offer a variety, it's really clean and enjoyable.

Although the days of Core Power Hollywood teachers massaging my head are in the rear view, this group of women and one or two men are really excellent and have really sincere energy. They are not robots, many of them are personable and make me feel happy when I enter and leave. I've been a member for 3 months, this is my final 2 weeks as I break for a summer of walking and swimming. Different classes, some extremely hot, some more focused on sculpting with light dumbbells keeps things interesting. The heat and higher rep light weight really works wonders on your physique and your soul. Pulse Pulse Pulse to Disclosure "defeated no more" which is a crazy coincidence considering I played it this AM for the first time in a decade on the way to class. They do a good job keeping the floors clean here, sweeping right after each class. Thanks CP Bridgeport for 3 months of great vibes and classes moving at a great pace. I'll probably re join in the winter.

Classes are diverse and cover what anyone would need, or 99% of them at least. There is an amazing diversity of instructors, and every one of them that I have had I have are warm, helpful and create well thought out flows. Everyone is happy to answer any and all questions you have. Outside of Kate's Gentle Heated Vinyasa class, I stay away from the heated classes. But I couldn't live without Kristi's Vinyasa, Dana's Gentle Vinyasa, Annie's Strong Slow Vinyasa, and Sunray's Flow and restore classes. They give me focus and make me happy :-). The studio also offers a lot of Yin classes and Sarisvati and Rachel are brilliant guides. Provided equipment is wonderful and always clean. Changing rooms are small, but clean and completely adequate. There is a shower available, and members have a place to store their Mats. There are dots to guide Mat placement in case classes are full, but they allow the space to be utilized to its fullest, and if classes aren't full, you are invited to spread out. Yes, I am a fan. However, there isn't another studio in Southwest that offers as much as Seeking Space when it comes to helping you develop a well-rounded practice.

He was patient, offered adjustments, kind, and grounded in his teaching. The studio is in an area with lots of parking. There is a changing room and one stall for a shower if you're needing to jump from hot yoga to a Bubbles N Tea date (which is across the street and delicious). I will definitely consider the drop in class for $20 and the 2 weeks for $40 intro package. I took Laura's class, and she was such a sweetheart and amazing at teaching. I do hot yoga nearly everyday but I was not used to this type of yoga. I got extremely dehydrated, dizzy the second I walked into the studio room, so I decided to lay in child's pose the whole time, just to be safe and avoid fainting. I noticed another worker (I'm not familiar with her name) giving me very rude looks during the class, which made me feel like a distraction despite my efforts of staying safe. After the class, I quickly felt sick and ran to the bathroom where I was excessively vomiting in the trash can (all stalls were taken, it was my only option). It was embarrassing, but it happens. Not one person stopped and asked if I was okay, and about 10 people walked by me. When I went to tell Laura, she was busy so I asked the other worker available. She was extremely disrespectful and told me to clean it up and go take the trash out myself, after I told her I felt extremely dehydrated and ill. She didn't ask if I was okay or if I needed help with anything, all she said was, "Yeah can you take out the trash yourself." Seems like a biohazard to me, and heck if I even knew where to take the trash to. Additionally, I was visibly shaking and my voice and body was obviously showing that. I was utterly shook that she had asked me to do this and her attitude was undeniably sassy. I have never felt so unwelcome and humiliated. I told Laura and she immediately told me to go home and feel better, and that she will take care of it! Thank god for Laura being there or else I would have left the studio bawling my eyes out of embarrassment. There must be policies for cleaning up things like vomit, and I don't think that a visitor is in charge of doing that! If I knew her name, I would contact the studio directly and inform them. I felt so unwelcome after speaking to her and I pray no one else has had a similar experience with that worker. Every other worker was so sweet and helpful, though. I will not be coming back to this studio.

First, I was charged over $250 for what was supposed to be a "trial month," which felt extremely misleading. I canceled immediately after realizing how disappointing the experience was. The facility itself felt unsanitary and very poorly maintained. On top of that, the owner came across as extremely judgmental and unprofessional, which made the whole experience even worse. Also, calling this place a "gym" feels misleading. It's basically small sauna boxes where you try to exercise in extreme heat. Instead of feeling like a good workout, it felt uncomfortable and difficult to even breathe while trying to move. It's not motivating at all. The heat is so intense that it even fries your hair if you're not careful. Overall, I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a real gym or a positive fitness environment.

Access to the sauna alone is worth the membership. They also have a free weight area and a basic universal gym. The bad: it's not very clean. I go to the same sauna each time because of the class I take and I noticed that the glass door was dirty with fingerprints all around the handle and when I came back the next night it was exactly the same, which means they are not cleaning the space every night. I don't feel confident that the equipment is being cleaned, so recommend that you clean the equipment you want to use before you use it, not just after. You have to buy their yoga mat and towel as part of your membership and I already had two at home, so that didn't make me happy but it is what it is. Personally, going every day is causing dermatitis flare-ups, which I'm hoping will acclimate over time and settle down, but overall the benefits outweigh the deficits. I joined for treating OA hip and back pain and to regain mobility and it works VERY well.
