Been going there for approximately 2 years and having my haircut by Jared most other the time. Fantastic experience (the guy vibe in the place is a welcome change from going to my wife's place. The first time there two of the barbers were arguing over who would win in a fight - Godzilla or King Kong - mindless fun - I cracked up.). There was no communication during the haircut meaning he didn't ever double check that I liked what he was doing, nor did the barber at any point during the haircut have me face the mirror so I could see what was going on. I just had to trust him. Luckily I ended up with a decent haircut, and it was what I asked for, and the particular barber was very talented. So if you're very picky about your hair I would avoid. I need to show these guys some love because I'm surprised nobody's dropped a positive review for them yet. I came across District Barbers when googling barbershops in my area that provide haircuts by appointment (because my regular shop didn't provide a way to book an appointment during these times for whatever reason) and I'm so glad I found them. Usually I go to Yelp to see the reviews of the place but I didn't find any, but I did see pictures of the work they did and I thought they were pretty good so I took a chance and booked a cut with Jared. When I came in, the shop was clean, Jared and Chris warmly greeted me, and you could tell they took the necessary precautions for the re-opening. Jared took the time to ask me how I wanted my hair and gave suggestions/explanations on different styles and look that would fit me (I welcomed it because he obviously knows more than I do it about hair). It could be because I was loooong overdue for a haircut but I got off the chair very happy with how it turned out. I usually have a "good enough" approach to haircuts but I can tell when something exceeds my expectations - the result was also validated when I got home and got the (rare) approval from my girlfriend. At the end of it all, Jared even gave me his card so I could tell him if at any point I was unhappy with the result. He mentioned during the cut that they had only been open for 8 weeks before they were forced to shutdown becuase of the lockdown - so if you guys want to get great haircut, go out and support these guys! read more

Lets face it, you can really get a hair cut just about anywhere nowadays, but if you want a true experience, and want to deal with true professionals, then just make Jared or Chris your guy. You can go in for a cut, and instantly book your next one 4 weeks later, their online system is too easy. Great vibes in the shop as well, good music always on, TVs going, fantastic location. Just got the worst buzz cut/beard trim ever, they left about an inch of my the bottom of my beard. I should have known when she never asked how it looks or if I was happy with it as I have been here several times before and had a good result.
