Cam was very personable and this is a great place to buy appliances (my daughter has bought a few from them and has not be disappointed). Fair prices (better than Lowe's or Home Depot for a better fridge), prompt delivery and install and haul off old one - and at a very reasonable rate. John Masters who delivered and did our install was also on time and kept me informed on his arrival time. Nice guy, did a great install, very careful, explained stuff about the fridge to my hubs before he left. Seamless transaction from beginning to end. Kathi Palacios

We just bought it 3 days ago, and he refuses to give us our money back!! It's been a nightmare dealing with these guys. My Samsung washer is now not spinning good so I decided to use them again since the first time 7 or 8 years ago. The repairman was at my home 4 times with incorrect parts. He kept blaming the business that he picked it up from. 4 times with a wrong part.! The first three times the part was a small electric piece with 2 wires and the 4th time a large box with the housing that has magnets attached. I asked him why he didn't know the difference in part sizes. He just kept blaming the parts vendor. It is very obvious to me he did not know what he was doing. I called two different numbers on the receipt trying to reach the owner or manager. One number is just a voicemail and the other number is the repairman answering "hello" not the business name greeting. There were so many red flags but since he had half of the money in cash ( to avoid the 5.5% cc fee) I felt I was stuck with this repairman. After having an ugly conversation (ugly from me) he returned my 250.00 cash. He wanted to put my washer back together but I refused. Did not want someone that didn't know what he was doing to do anything else to my appliance. I'm very lucky to get my cash back. This is the most unprofessional repair business I have ever dealt with. So very frustrating and disappointing. I have wasted over a week with this nonsense. Terrible experience.

Commerical products in our home... I feel so luxurious. I will always recommend West Appliances for any new appliances. I replaced all of my floors, painted the entire shared living areas...but something was missing..... Fire. I had my home built sans fireplace. Mistake. So I set out to correct it. And if you want a fireplace, you need a mantel. And if you're building an entire wall as your mantel, you need some really good pieces of wood to really make it pop. Enter the Mill. If you have ever shopped for live edge slabs, it isn't easy, and it can get pricey. So when I found this place on the googs, it had good reviews, and wasn't too far from my Ma's place. As you can see from the pics, this place has a variety of peices, and it is entirely dependent on what he has in at the time. He gets new pieces every so often too. If you're looking for something in particular, give him a ring and let him know what you're looking for. I've bought about a dozen pieces at this point. I'm buying wood in the raw and finishing it myself, but he also has chairs, tables and other finished products too if you're in the market for something like that. His prices are good, selection is good, and he's good to work with on getting what you need. Give him a shot. One last thing, gps doesn't seem to get the directions right. The mill is is next to and part of an appliance repair shop. Look for the sign, it's right next to the chicken joint. GPS had me a few blocks away, but you can't miss the appliance sign.

I did not, however, think I'd be returning so quickly to do just that: replace a dishwasher that had gone kaput. When the control board and pump failed on my existing Bosch dishwasher, I knew exactly where to go so that I didn't have to pearl dive in the sink any more. I came here once, looked around, took notes and then went home and did my research. When I figured out which model would best suit me, I came back to buy. Lee assisted us again, as he had helped us with our oven. Very knowledgeable and informative, he helped me figure out that getting a model one step up from my initial choice was really a no-brainer (price difference was negligible and features were more comprehensive and intuitive). Prices here are extremely competitive and part of the reason that I returned here was because of their superior installation crew. Now, these are not your builder-grade or builder-supply store selection of dishwashers. I did not, however, go over the top price-wise with my purchase. I feel I got a quality machine at a very fair price that was expertly installed, exactly when they promised it would be here. Highly recommended. I would not hesitate to return should I need to replace another major appliance.

Knowledgeable and Trustworthy!…read more I have a 15+ year old refrigerator that neither the refrigerator or freezer were working. Akai inspected the entire unit and indicated the issue was the defroster in the freezer wasn't working and needed to be replaced. He quoted me what I thought was a very fair price but before I could say "Shut up and take my money!" he added that when he had unplugged the unit & plugged it back in, when starting up again the compressor sounded a bit suspicious. Thus he indicated I could go ahead and pay him to install a new defroster in the freezer, but it is only a matter of time before the compressor craps out and then replacing it would be over $1,000 and not worth it. So get this....he proposes that I defrost it the old school way by unplugging it, opening both the freezer & fridge doors, placing towels in front of the unit, and allowing all of the ice to melt and then just mop up all the water with towels and my wet vac and that would solve the problem for now. And in a few months when the issue occurs again I can just repeat the old school defrosting method until the compressor finally goes kaput, and then get a brand new refrigerator. Sure enough, I proceeded to do exactly what he recommended and lo and behold the fridge & freezer started working properly again. And I am all too happy to repeat every few months to squeeze every last bit of life from this old fridge until I have to get a new one. Akai could have very easily kept quiet about the compressor sounding sketchy and that it could fail in 3 weeks, 3 months, or 3 years and gotten a nice service order for replacing the defroster since he had already devoted the valuable time & effort to come to my house. However, he instead chose to be completely honest and forthcoming which is not as common as it should be and is very appreciated. I have saved his contact info and the next time I have any issues with any appliances he will be the technician I call. Knowledge and experience is great and there are a lot of qualified & knowledgeable appliance repair companies out there. However, also possessing honesty and integrity is why I strongly recommend Akai for any appliance repair issues.

Akai was able to work me into his schedule that same day, which I very much appreciated. He quickly diagnosed a frozen fill tube and set to work thawing it. Ultimately, he was able to clear the line and force the ice maker refill, but cautioned that it might not be a permanent fix. Given the refrigerator's age, there could be additional issues preventing the ice maker from behaving normally. However, replacement parts for the model I have are costly and difficult to source. That proved to be the case in this instance, unfortunately. Even though I'll be using ice trays for the time being, I was very pleased with Akai's honest and professional service. I would not hesitate to recommend A & G Appliances to my friends and family.
