I wish I could give a negative star rating as this was the worst dental experience I have ever had! He believes in saving teeth? Hogwash! I had a cavity that was below the gum line so Dr. S said it needed to be pulled. When I questioned that decision, he just shook his head impatiently and proceeded to pull the tooth. The tooth was healthy enough that he had to put all his body weight into trying to yank out my tooth. I already have severe dental fear, so it wasn't long before tears were streaming down my face. This really pissed him off, so he snapped at me saying; "Do you want more Novacaine!? He repeatly hurt me and by the time he was done I was near hysteria. They were so eager to rush me out of there so the people in the waiting room wouldn't see, that they told me I could pay later as they hustled me out the door. read more

Great staff. Friendly and knowledgeable. I neglected my oral care for a few years because I had bad experiences with other dental offices, but I knew I had to get things on track before it got too bad. Dr. Streit was able to identify the issues I had, and get them all fixed for me. He works quick and efficiently, always making you feel comfortable as a patient. He tells you what he's doing as he works so there is no surprises. The office also does sleep medicine which was a pleasant surprise, because I found out I had sleep apnea. With Dr. Streit's help I was able to get an oral appliance (kind of reminds me of a mouth guard) which I wear at night to help treat my apnea and let's me sleep better. I definitely recommend this office. Great group of people and I'm glad I found them. read more

My first experiences with a dentist (more than 60 years ago now!) were horrific. When my mom decided to bring me to her dentist instead, things were somewhat better, but I still dreaded going. Fast forward into this century: due to my mom's dentist retirement and divorce robbing me of insurance and income, I had to go without regular checkups for 18 years. Several visits to various dentists in Snohomish County for semi-emergency repairs were all I could afford--and those visits were incredibly painful and unsatisfactory. Needless to say my teeth were not in good shape. And then, in the summer of 2019, because of a referral from a friend who swore by Dr. Zach, I called them when I suspected an abcessed tooth. They got me in right away, and also went the extra mile to comfort me when I needed it! In the past year or so, I no longer dread going to the dentist. They've taken care of several of my dental health issues in addition to cleanings, and I am not only impressed with their top level of care, but with their efforts to make it all as painless as can be. The dental hygenists and the front desk staff are so caring, helpful, and always patiently answer all my questions. I am so glad that Dr. Zach is about half my age, because I consider him and his team to be my dental care providers for life. I'm now actually looking forward to my next slate of appointments because I know Dr. Zach's team always takes good care of me, and my teeth will be so much improved with each visit! Part 3 i suppose. I cant say enough about this Dentist Office. I always get massive anxiety when i go. Started out they helped me with a bad case of TMJ. Each day it gets better. I went back for a full ck up. Keep in mind i went to a Gentle Dental in Lynwood desperately needing a night card. They told me i needed 6 crowns and would not make one for me till they were done. I was more worried about the pain i was dealing with day in and day out. I made calls and thank God i found these kind professional people. Dr Streit and staff are amazing. Two crowns down. No numbing agent due to allergies. No pain whatsoever. Dentist is now a no anxiety experience for me. So grateful. read more

I have to post this review so people who have similar problems can be aware of the potential outcome. I came to the office for a cavity fill. It was a big cavity that I was already warned by another dentist that I might need a root canal. I did discussed with Dr. Streit, and he said that the cavity was not deep enough so it didn't touch the nerve so no root canal was performed. However, I repeatedly told him the cavity tooth was very sensitive before the fill and and feels like a big gap or hole in between the teeth with sensitivity after the fill. He said the sensitivity will be gone in a couple of weeks and the bite was okay. Meaning that he did his job regardless how I felt. How could he do that? I felt something wrong with it and discomfort bothered me ever since he finished the fill. It turns out he was wrong. I went to Endodontics Northwest and Dr. Colic told me that the bacteria was already infected the nerves that's why the tooth was super sensitive. I had to suffer the sensitivity for almost whole year because I had to travel abroad and when I come back with all the COVID situation. I went back to check up the problematic tooth and he was simply said that I needed a root canal without a proper apology. I went back last time for cleaning and complaint about the gap/hole in between the teeth. His stuff did another X-ray and said yes there is something still wrong with that tooth but he was rushing to get off work and only scrap couple of the front teeth. He didn't finish the cleaning process and didn't come up with a treatment plan. Dr. Streit was not warm and caring and makes me feel like I was not welcomed personally. I wish I could be treated with more respect from the doctor. (The front desk stuff was awesome.) But most of all, as a patient, I have to pay the cost for his mistake and suffer for the consequences. All I wanted was just a doctor save me from the pain, he didn't. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and put my trust to him so I went back there three times. I used my dental benefit with him and now I have to wait until my dental plan renew so I can find a new dentist. Major disappointment. read more

I am a very nervous and restless dental patient (had a bad experience years ago at a different provider). Dr Streit and his team are great. The facility is ultra clean and I appreciate the technology they use, which seems like a significant upgrade from other dentists I've been to. The staff is very friendly, professional and provide explanations of everything from dental procedures, options, billing, etc. I recently had a dental crown placement that I had been dreading for days. Dr Albert & Team at Distinctive Dentistry are world class.... And I have been to quite a few dentists in the Greater Seattle area and Los Angeles. I came back from a 6 month+ backpacking trip to Panama with a chunk of of a tooth missing. Bit into some hard chocolate and it fell out. The rest of my family already sees Dr Albert already and they recommended I go there. Ended up needing a root canal done (sigh!), but the pain was so bad that it needed to happen same day. They got me squeezed onto the books with a fantastic Endodontist in town who performed the work... and then I came in to Dr Albert's practice for the crown placement. I was taken care of Dr Zachary Streit... and his assistant in the process. They did a great job. My problem is 100% fixed. Along the way they did a great job of explaining everything and letting me know what the expected outcome would be. I came back in about 2 weeks later for a new patient process (exam, x rays, etc,.) and a cleaning. Again, Dr Streit took care of the cleaning itself... we got to crack a few jokes.... and now I am on a dental plan over the next 6 months for some preventative work to make sure I don't end up in big trouble again. Their staff is some of the friendliest I have ever encountered... always offering me a bottle of water (room temp or chilled) for the road. In addition to all this - they also have an automated mobile reminder service that text messages you a reminder of your appt about a week beforehand. So in case you were ever wondering about it, just scroll through your text messages and you are good to go. This clinic deserves more than five stars. I have been a patient of this clinic since childhood. Today I had my upper wisdom teeth removed. I decided it was time and that I could stall no longer. As hesitant as I was to have the procedure, I had confidence that Dr. Streit would perform a swift, painless extraction. My two upper wisdom teeth were removed in less than 10 minutes. The preparation was close to painless. My total discomfort was 2/10. I am extremely impressed with both his technique and professionalism. I will recommend his practice to anyone and everyone. My two year old daughter and I are fairly new to Dr. Streit's office but I feel as though we have been going there for years. The staff is absolutely wonderful and Dr. Streit is THE best dentist! Having a major phobia of dentists, it had been decades since I stepped into a dentist's office. I broke a tooth on a Saturday, splitting it down the middle, and was in a lot of pain. After calling around, Marsha got back to me on a Sunday morning. She gave my cell number to Dr. Zach Streit. Dr. Streit called me from his cell phone shortly thereafter and said he could help, he understood my phobia and he would like to have a look, he knew he could help me. The next morning he sat down and talked with me about my phobia, asked if he could have a look, and talked me thru the exam. The tooth was broken and had to be extracted. He explained what they would do, that he would be sure I felt nothing, and would lightly sedate me. I was aware and could respond to questions, but otherwise felt nothing. Dr. Streit and entire his staff were very warm, friendly and compassionate. They calmly and confidently talked me through the whole procedure, and now I will be going back to start to catch up on getting all of my teeth back in shape.
