Fried potato salad with braised pork and soft egg and cucumber

This is the best restaurant in Lincoln I've been to. The service was amazing. Our waitress was super helpful at making recommendations and was very attentive. The food all tasted extremely fresh and I appreciated how much detail went into every dish. A great spot for special occasions!

Everything about the experience was amazing. Our server was incredibly friendly, professional, yet very casual at the same time. All of the flavor profiles are so unique and bold! The serving sizes are also pretty big. I can tell all the food is very good quality and fresh. We got three appetizers to split and left incredibly full and with leftovers. We got the focaccia with whipped feta, pomegranate, persimmons, and prosciutto. The flavors worked very well and the focaccia was nice and buttery, but overall it was just a bit too salty for me. We also got the crispy potato and pork confit. That was one of my favorite dishes all night. They do the potatoes so well - they're perfectly seasoned and the pork was incredible too. The last thing we got was a fried chicken dish. It had Asian flavors and had a really nice kick to it with kimchi and gochujang. I think the fried chicken and the pork dish tied for both my favorite of the night.

Okay Lincoln NE, you have a great food and drink scene along with a university. Out first night we when to @dishdowntown The small plates we shared had great flavors that was balanced, seasonal and unique. The beets with peaches and cherries were paired with grassy arugula sauce and just a little bit of heat. The potatoes with chorizo and hollandaise were fired within an inch of their life which is PERFECT!! The pickled mustard seeds added just the right amount of vinegar. Favorite of the night was the duck and corn croquettes. They were fried with a soft filling and the smoky plum sauce was a great combination with the sweet corn.

We hadn't been to The Dish in over 10 years, and we were so pleasantly surprised by what we've been missing! The food was phenomenal, and the staff was even better. We'll definitely be back, long before the next decade!

This was one of the best culinary experiences I've had. You wouldn't necessarily expect a James Beard semi finalist of a chef to be behind a restaurant in humble Lincoln Nebraska, but my goodness, everything I had was amazing and the service was great. I flew in to visit Lincoln for the third time for work, and this will be on my list of places to come back to the next time.

One of the few truly fine-dining experiences in Lincoln, eating here is always an experience. Even the little items get a good deal of attention. On our most recent trip the item that made the most significant impact was potatoes that were fried. As simple as that sounds, these potato slices were amazingly crisp and flavorful. Highly recommend!

Had a great dinner at Dish while in Lincoln. One of the main reasons we went was because it was across the street from where we were staying, but I am so thankful our location brought us there! We didn't have a reservation, but got in around 5:00. I ordered the Regina George and it was refreshing and delicious! My friend and I shared 4 small dishes - beets, green beans, croquettes, and potatoes. Everything was good, but the beets, croquettes, and potatoes were all delicious. I would highly recommend stopping by if in town!

My bill for one entrée, one drink, one dessert. Pretty expensive, especially the $21 drink. but all in all enjoyable.

I sat at the bar and had phenomenal service. I got the Aragon burger with a tallow fries, covered in bacon jam! I will have to say, this is one of the better burgers I've ever had in my life. It came out very hot, juicy, and cooked perfectly. The sauce is super yummy. But it's a grilled onions that really make it. The fries came out hot, crispy, and very tasty. This is a phenomenal restaurant with some very good food. Unless you're lucky you get a seat at the bar, I'm sure reservations are required.

I liked the ambiance of this place as we walked in. It felt very intimate. We had reservations but…read moreprobably didn't need them... wasn't sure if that was a good thing or a bad thing. Service was very good. We were seated promptly and asked if we were ready for the next course at appropriate times. We had the 3 course dinner with the summer salad, lasagna Bianca and steak. I personally thought the salad was the best! The array of flavors was very satisfying from the crunch of the pine nuts to the smoothness of the ricotta to the tanginess of the dressing. Would highly recommend. The lasagna was good... but very one note... and that note is "richness". It didn't really taste like anything more, which in effect made it not much different from an ordinary lasagna I could make at home and not pay that much for it. The steak was not well seasoned, which I wouldn't have minded but the cook was a bit beyond the medium rare I asked for. Overall I probably would be back to try something else. But dish is still superior in terms of fine dining in Lincoln in my opinion.
