From the moment Frankie and I spoke, the entire process was easy and stress-free. Having Rafael's handle the catering allowed me and my party helpers to focus on everything else instead of worrying about the food. I don't know when I'll be hosting another party this big, but when I do, Rafael's will be my first call. Thank you Rafael's Catering for helping make her day so special!

The ordering process is simple, the team is efficient, portions are LARGE and they make it easy to modify items, pricing quotes, etc. Delivery and pick up has always ran smooth and the team will assist in packing up all leftovers because there definitely will be plenty. They have delivered to a hall as well as our home, they've set up in our backyard and inside our dining space. They stay communicative with delivery and pick up times, updates and ETAs of arrival. I'd have to say that by now, we have ordered every item on their menu - including the lechon, and we've gotten great feedback from family & friends. Rafael's has set the bar pretty high for quality of food and service. I recommend them to anyone that is planning to host a party and does not want the hassle of cooking, setting up, etc.

As for the food: coming from a large, opinionated family, it's usually tough to please everyone, and we often hear that the catering wasn't great or we should've cooked ourselves. This time, though, every single family member raved about the food. No complaints at all. I know exactly who I'll call for future parties!

I'm usually someone who can only eat a bite or two of cupcakes because they tend to be overwhelmingly sweet, but these were much more enjoyable. They were still a little sweeter than my personal preference, but not in an overpowering way--I almost finished my entire cupcake, which rarely happens. Everyone else loved theirs as well. The pricing felt fair, and the person working behind the counter was very friendly. My only suggestion would be making it a little clearer that the bakery and coffee shop share the same space. As a first-time customer, it was a little hard to tell which business was which. Overall, great cupcakes, friendly service, and definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.

Famous Creations has a bunch of sweets including cupcakes, cookies, brownies, cheesecakes, and custom cakes. This inside of their space is open, and quite empty. The decor is cute, but overall the space feels a little incomplete. I got the Ube Tres Leches after wanting a sweet treat after lunch! Their Tres Leches has good components of a good Tres Leches: moist cake soaked in milk with a creamy whipped cream on top. However, the milk did not appear to be evenly absorbed across my portion of cake, as some sections remained without any milk. The cake also seemed to be the only thing ube flavored, so overall the ube flavor was lacking. The cake in general was yummy, but was not my favorite as an ube tres leches. Their desserts overall look great and their custom cakes are super cute! I hope to try other items in the future.
