Nice facilities, but poor management. Unprofessional communication about our child and unskilled leadership.

Run as far away from this school as you can! They are deceitful, incompetent, and worse, they put…read moreyour children at risk. The problems at this school began when the previous head of school, Mr. James, left. Since Mr. James left we have experienced the following: 1. The School LOST our child - On one occasion, our child left her classroom and the school did not know where she was. To make it worse, they never informed us about the incident and had to learn about it from another parent whose child left the classroom with my child. I was told by other parents that this was not a singular event. After the incident, the school (after refusing my request to fire the teacher) agreed to never assign that teacher to supervise my child ever again. This agreement lasted for several months until the school started assigning that teacher to watch my child again. Additionally, when I confronted the head of school about the event, he informed me that he did not tell me about the event because I was pregnant and he did not want to "upset" me. 2. TIME OUTS - My child kept complaining that a particular teacher would separate her from other kids and put her in time outs. The time outs would occur on a chair that was away from other kids. 3. TELLING/MAKING MY DAUGHTER FEEL THAT SHE IS A BAD GIRL - My child told me that a particular teacher tells her that she is a "bad girl". 4. TICKS - The playground is full of ticks. After finding two giant ticks on my child, I informed the school of the problem. They did not respond to my email or treat the playground for ticks. Since then, I have learned that other children have also come home with lots of ticks. 5. DEPOSIT - When I informed the school that I was leaving, the school told me that they would be returning my entire deposit. I believe they did this due to my experience and to deter me from speaking out against them. Well...low and behold, I never received the deposit and when I confronted the school several months after I left, I was told that they never said that they would be returning my money despite me having the emails to prove it. The school's (almost) saving grace are Ms. Puja, Ms. Savi, and Ms. Varshini, who are caring teachers. Unfortunately, the administration's incompetence and carelessness is too much to overcome. If you are interested in a Montessori education, I have heard good things about the Guidepost Lawrenceville location. Just please for your mental health and your children's safety DO NOT enroll them in the Princeton Meadows school.

Not only did the Guidepost Montessori staff accommodate for the needs of the child but they were also very welcoming. It is not always easy having a guest come into your classroom. The toddler classroom is a beautiful learning environment for all of the children in their. I have seen many toddler classrooms that are chaotic. The children here are independent, regulated, nurtured, and challenged and these are toddlers! The teachers do a wonderful job and it is so nice to see.

I'm writing this to share an honest experience for other families who may not fully understand how…read moreprivate school policies can impact them during difficult times. My children attended this school and were happy there. It was the only school they had known, and they had built relationships, routines, and a sense of stability within that environment. When our family experienced financial hardship due to job loss, we were no longer able to meet the tuition requirements. As a result, our children were asked to leave. I understand that private schools operate as businesses and rely on tuition. However, what was difficult was the lack of flexibility, support, or transition planning for the children. The process felt abrupt, and there was little acknowledgment of the emotional impact on them. For young children, being removed from their school environment is not just a logistical change, it's a significant emotional disruption. That part did not seem to be considered in how the situation was handled. I'm sharing this so other parents are aware: If your financial situation changes, there may be limited options, and the outcome can be immediate. If you are considering this school, I would encourage you to ask detailed questions about: -financial aid policies during unexpected hardship -transition support if a family can no longer afford tuition -how the school supports children emotionally in those situations The education itself may be strong, but families should understand the full picture before committing.

We have been a Chapin family for eleven years…read more My older daughter had attended Chapin since pre-k and graduated last year. She was more than ready to take on the challenges of secondary school. Her freshman year was an academic success! Throughout her years at Chapin, she has grown to be an independent, well-rounded individual. She's not afraid to email teachers about assignments, ask questions when she is uncertain about something discussed during class, or voice her opinion about anything. We owe those positive attributes to Chapin. My younger daughter has also attended Chapin since pre-k. She continues to amaze us with how much she's learned in just a short amount of time. We owe that to the excellent Chapin teachers who not only educate their students but also care about their growth and development. My husband and I are excited for my little one to experience all that Chapin has to offer in the coming years. Chapin is an extraordinary school. The decision to send our children here is one of the best decisions that my husband and I have ever made.
