I saw this one and another close by, so I had my mother visit before I moved up. This was my mother's choice and when I talked to the owner, this was my choice as well. The owner, Ms. Cheryl, made me feel so welcome and I just knew she would take care of my son like her own. You could feel the love oozing out of her. She's also a mother and knows what mothers feel. She's done a great job of keeping me abreast of the daily activities the kids' are doing and what they're learning. Over the past year, I've seen her bend over backwards for these little kids and even the parents at times. My son can now count beyond measures, write his name and is reading a few words. He's made some great friends and loves his teachers. It's tucked away from the road and attached to a church. This also made me feel good because it's enclosed and the kids have their own gated play area. If you want to feel the love and know your kid(s) are being nurtured, being them here.

The owner Miss Cheryl was a God-send to us when we took in two foster children (two and three years old) this past year. Miss Cheryl was one of the few constants for our beautiful foster children during a time of a lot of uncertainty and instability in their lives. She also became a great support and friend to us as their foster parents. Miss Cheryl works hard to create a warm and welcoming daycare where every child is valued and loved. She loves all of the children in her care so well, and they love her! Our 2nd daughter started shortly after she was born in 2014 and is still there in a pre-K class. Our experience here has been amazing. Our older daughter never complained about going to school, she made lots friends, some of whom she continues to see outside of LGA and finished kindergarten knowing how to read and fully prepared for 1st grade in public school. Our younger daughter looks forward to going school every day and is having similar experience that her sister had. Through the years that we have been coming to LGA, we have gotten to know the owner/director, Miss Angela, and several of the teachers and administrative staff. It is clearly no accident that LGA is as successful as it is. Miss Angela is always there and takes a very hands on approach with every aspect of the school. Any time we have had a problem or concern, Miss Angela was extremely attentive and responsive in addressing our needs. All of the teachers that both of our girls have had took a genuine interest in their well being. They greet the children with a welcoming smile in the morning and they stay on top of their game in meeting the children's needs throughout the day. The administrative staff is courteous and professional and come across as warm and caring to the children - and they seem to know every child's name...very impressive.

With little prior knowledge of the traditional Montessori curriculum, our initial search expanded the spectrum. After a few facility tours, it was clear that we preferred the Montessori curriculum and style of learning over the traditional curriculum. What sold us further and made our decision easy was the day we visited the new Guidepost Montessori in Bridgewater. Sylvia Chen, assistant head of school, greeted us personally to provide a tour, answer our numerous questions, and help us through the application process. Our warm exchange and the beautiful facility spoke volumes for what we could expect from Guidepost. So much so that my husband and I agreed to submit our application for enrollment as soon as we left the school that day. Fast forward four months and my maternity leave was nearing its end. Sylvia and Jennifer Tisdale, head of school, both made it a point to reach out ahead of time to ensure our son's first day was well planned for. When we arrived for new student orientation our son's guides were prepared to meet us, and it was evident that great care had been given as his name was already visible noted around the classroom. Guidepost's gradual entry for new students allowed us, as well as our son, to adjust easily into our new environment. From the start, we have always felt like our son's needs were well attended to and cared for. The Nido guides are fantastic and are invested in getting to know you and your child. They always have our son's best interests in mind and keep us updated on his progress and needs. One thing we love about Guidepost is their consistent communication. Each day, we look forward to receiving photos and daily tracking notes from Ms. Perrone. While we cannot be with him during the day, this detailed level of communication makes us confident that our son is well cared for. In just the few months that our son has been attending, we have seen so much progress with him developmentally. He is reaching milestones early and becoming more independent each week. He is excited to go to school each day. It is amazing to see his growth and I know it is because of the support he is receiving from his guides. We couldn't be happier with our choice. These individuals consistently go above and beyond to ensure the safety, well-being, and development of every child. In our case, they collaborated with external experts, including my son's grandmother (a DCF supervisor) and a regional manager from Children's Specialized Hospital, to address the emotional challenges my son was experiencing. This collaborative effort underscores their commitment to the holistic care of children. Unfortunately, the only opposition to these efforts came from Lauren P. and Patty P., who were unwilling to cooperate for the betterment of my child. It is disingenuous for them to cast blame on an organization that showed such willingness to help, especially when they themselves refused to support a united approach. For instance, they've alleged that Lightbridge Academy violated state protocols by keeping my son in a room for two hours, yet they omit a critical detail: they specifically instructed the staff not to contact his father during an outburst--even though he was just eight minutes away. Lightbridge Academy was following their directive, so any blame for this situation rests with them, not the facility. It is both shocking and disappointing that these baseless accusations are being leveled against a daycare that has shown nothing but compassion and professionalism. We maintain thorough records and evidence to refute these claims. Lightbridge Academy did everything possible to navigate complex challenges, including instances of parental alienation, manipulation, and misinformation, all while prioritizing the best interests of my son. For three weeks, my son experienced emotional outbursts, often immediately following drop-offs by his mother. The staff consistently went out of their way to support him, employing strategies like emotional redirection, personalized activities, and special accommodations to help him adjust. This level of care has been a hallmark of Lightbridge Academy throughout my son's time there--from when he was just four months old until November 2024. As someone with insight into daycare standards (thanks to my mother's role with DCF), I can confidently say Lightbridge Academy is exemplary. It is deeply unfair to see this business--one that treats every child as if they were their own--be maligned for issues rooted in parenting challenges, not institutional failings. Again thank you to Amy Speiser, Esther Sander (gifted my son a Childrens bible), Lauren Nolan and the rest of the amazing Lightbridge Academy staff for all their love, support and amazing care for my chid and other children at the facility.
