We enrolled our daughter Cammie at the Kiddie Academy of Hamilton in October, and we could not be…read morehappier with our decision. My initial contact was Pam, and I was immediately impressed with her very warm and informative tour. She really took the time to explain to me exactly what my child would be learning, with examples of their teaching philosophy. I had toured four other preschools and none were nearly as professional, or as welcoming as this one was. Pam made my family feel very comfortable and taken care of, and I felt confident enrolling my daughter in the school that same day. Since then, I have not been disappointed in any way. Pam, Kathy, and Kyla (owners and the director) have been wonderful to us, and they are very friendly and approachable people to see every day. My daughter started out in Classroom 5 with Miss Amelia, Miss Kelly, and Miss Jacoby. I have been very impressed with all three teachers and my daughter absolutely loved their class! She would talk about her teachers when she'd get home from class, and I found her quickly learning many new things right away. She was showing me sign language, telling me how she sounded out new letters that she was learning, and she learned so many new songs that she sings all the time now. They worked with Cammie on potty training and she made a ton of progress thanks to her teachers! Another wonderful thing about the Kiddie Academy is the cameras in each classroom and on the playground. My husband and I can check in on my daughter any time we want to see how her day is going. Also, her grandparents love to check in to see what she is up to! They send us photos of Cammie during the day (we LOVE this) and we also get a detailed report at the end of each day. The teachers are positive, kind, and do a fantastic job, and I feel 100% confident leaving Cammie with them. Recently, we learned Cammie would be moving on to the next level classroom and at first I was worried about the change (especially since she loved her classroom 5 teachers so much!). I soon found out that she would be moving on with five classmates she knew already, and she would be visiting the new classroom a little bit each day over a period of two weeks before the official move, and that really made me feel better. What a smart and thoughtful transition! As a result, Cammie has already made a seamless change, and she is really enjoying her new teachers in classroom 6, Miss Alyssa and Miss Lauren. When I look in on the class, I see lots of activity, learning, and fun happening there at all times. Cammie is very happy in her new classroom! In closing, my daughter literally opens her eyes in the morning and says with a big smile, "school?!"! She is ready to go, and she is so excited to get there. We pull up to the front of the building and she yells "yay!! school!!". When I arrive to pick her up, she does not want to go home. I think that says it all! We are very grateful that we found The Kiddie Academy of Hamilton, and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a quality school for their child!

Each age/stage teacher has their own gifts in caring for each developmental stage and they encourage children in learning and growing new skills and abilities in an age appropriate way. There is genuine warmth and caring among all care givers as well as leadership of the daycare. A very high level of care and concern for our precious little ones balanced with professionalism and courtesy. I don't worry at all about my kids during the day while I'm working. The wonderful team of caregivers has earned my trust, admiration, respect, and love. The teachers feel more like an extension of our family than paid caregivers! Recently my sons class started sending the sweetest & most thoughtful notes home in his bag. Each one is individually written and shares a sweet observation from something my son said or did. I can't tell you how much I appreciate these! They warm my heart and it's so nice to have a glimpse into his day & development in the class! This daycare and all of their wonderful staff make such a difference in our lives, parents included! I recommend this daycare to those I know with little ones who might be interested. I don't know what we'll do when my youngest graduates from the program!

She learned many different skills- academically, socially and emotionally. The teachers are wonderful to say the least, as they truly care about every child. Each teacher tends to every child individually, in an appropriate academic setting and in a manner that meets the child's emotional and social needs. My daughter grew and blossomed with every day she attended and every year that passed. I truly believe in my heart, that who she is today, stems from the years she attended this school. It is a warm and nurturing environment with the appropriate age required academic structure that parallels with an environment of warmth and kindness. An atmosphere, like the one at this Montessori School, is an intricate, impressionable and most important part of the young years of our child's youth. The time spent as young toddlers mean so much as to who they become growing into adolescents and young adults and Windsor Montessori does an excellent job at preparing our children for an amazing future. Ms. Yasmín has done an astounding job with this school, the curriculum, the teaching of self awareness; including patience and self intrigued academic skills and the necessity of learning how to play and be okay with ones self. I still and will always recommend this Montessori School to anyone I come across with a child in their pre-k years. I couldn't be happier with the decision of having my daughter attend this school. Her years there influenced, formed and created the wonderful, amazing, academically excelling child I have now (as a third grader). So, in turn, I'd like to place a very special, warm-hearted thank you to all of the teachers. And a deeply rooted, heart felt thank you to Ms Yasmín. You have indefinitely made your mark on my daughter still to this day! Always, Sasha L-P

For the past 4 years, my son has been fortunate enough to call Bright Horizons "home." We began our first daycare experience at the center when he was just 17 months old, and today was his very last day of Kindergarten Prep. Throughout the years, the staff at Carnegie have loved my son through some of the most difficult periods of our lives. Bright Horizons is not just a "drop and go" daycare; teachers care profoundly about the children at the center and their families. It is serendipitous that Ms. Karyn, who was my child's first teacher at BH, also turned out to be his graduating teacher in KP. She has been warm, flexible, and supportive through deep personal hurts, such as when my son's father and I navigated through a very messy divorce. (I was extremely touched by the way Ms. Karyn approached sensitive holidays like Father's Day, even going above and beyond to help my son make 2 projects-- one for his dad, who was predominantly absent from his life at the time, and one for his grandpa). She was also hands-on and supportive after we received my son's ASD diagnosis, and worked earnestly with his BCBA-D to support him. Ms. Karyn knows each of her students intently and is always going above and beyond to plan engaging curriculum that will "hook" them. Her classroom is a place of creativity and inquiry, where students are always learning and developing a love of learning, too. As I turned the pages in his KP book, I couldn't help but cry seeing all the love that Ms. Karyn had poured into my child-- even on days when it was so hard to love him. Ms. Barbara, the center's chef, has ensured my child's safety at school from Day 1. My son has severe food allergies and center staff have in place strict preventative measures and an Allergy Action plan that have kept him safe for the entire time that he has been enrolled at BH. Leadership is always transparent and responsive. When we first started at the center, Jen Albright and Tracey Pennington created an amazing culture of partnership between Bright Horizons families. Diane DeYoung and Courtney Hollosi have continued to build on their strong foundation, with Kelli Mueller also playing a large part in connecting with families. Finally, we cannot express enough gratitude to the other teachers who have loved my son as he have moved up throughout the years-- Ms. Ingrid, Ms. Charlene, and Ms. Jessica. I wish all of the staff at Bright Horizons my very best, and cannot express enough love and gratitude for the years of happiness that you have given my child. As we continue on our journey to Kindergarten, we will cherish the years at Carnegie and never forget the profound impact you have made on our lives.

I am sure my son missed the school, and especially his lead teacher Miss Sarah (toddler one class). Miss Sarah is an amazing teacher! I cannot imagine a better first teacher for my son. In addition to taking care of my son, she also put a lot of thoughts to his developments, trying to help him engaging more in various activities, and teaching him a lot of different things. We are so grateful for her. There is a lot of helpful communication and feedback during pick up time, and during the meetings with parents a few times a year. All other teachers are also great. The daily report with pictures and details is also very helpful. We are also very happy with the administration. When we visited for a tour, Ms Danielle was very helpful and friendly which was the main reason we chose Goddard. Ms Danielle is not the director there any more (she now owns another Goddard school) but all other staff are also nice. They have a weekly class blog so that you know what is going on in the class. Its only been a month of school and they already learned how to do tallies, graphs, probability. Its very focused on the core academics. My son is taking the after school program so now he is learning 2 languages Mandarin and Spanish. I thought he would hate it instead he looks forward to it and comes home talking to me like hey do you know how to count in Spanish? (He learned this just after 1 week of class) They also have yoga classes and the teacher is amazing, he can't wait to show me all these poses. I have seen his confidence grow so much in the past month. In his previous school he was a very quick learner and I was worried he wouldnt be challenged and just bored. I couldn't be more wrong. They tailor the homework and work to your child and aren't afraid to push them. If you are looking at private schools, in my opinion PJS is the top tier. I toured all of them in the area, PDS, Chapin, Friends etc. and at the end I took a chance with PJS only because I loved the open space. I was worried that academically it might not have been up to par with the other private school or public schools (I live in one of the top districts in the area). I have two friends going to the private schools mentioned (Kindergarten) and PJS quite frankly raises the bar. I think it is because of the new curriculum they have been using. This is a great school. You will not be disappointed sending your child here, if I only knew then what I do now. The choice would have been a no brainer.
