I'm writing this to share an honest experience for other families who may not fully understand how…read moreprivate school policies can impact them during difficult times. My children attended this school and were happy there. It was the only school they had known, and they had built relationships, routines, and a sense of stability within that environment. When our family experienced financial hardship due to job loss, we were no longer able to meet the tuition requirements. As a result, our children were asked to leave. I understand that private schools operate as businesses and rely on tuition. However, what was difficult was the lack of flexibility, support, or transition planning for the children. The process felt abrupt, and there was little acknowledgment of the emotional impact on them. For young children, being removed from their school environment is not just a logistical change, it's a significant emotional disruption. That part did not seem to be considered in how the situation was handled. I'm sharing this so other parents are aware: If your financial situation changes, there may be limited options, and the outcome can be immediate. If you are considering this school, I would encourage you to ask detailed questions about: -financial aid policies during unexpected hardship -transition support if a family can no longer afford tuition -how the school supports children emotionally in those situations The education itself may be strong, but families should understand the full picture before committing.

We have been a Chapin family for eleven years…read more My older daughter had attended Chapin since pre-k and graduated last year. She was more than ready to take on the challenges of secondary school. Her freshman year was an academic success! Throughout her years at Chapin, she has grown to be an independent, well-rounded individual. She's not afraid to email teachers about assignments, ask questions when she is uncertain about something discussed during class, or voice her opinion about anything. We owe those positive attributes to Chapin. My younger daughter has also attended Chapin since pre-k. She continues to amaze us with how much she's learned in just a short amount of time. We owe that to the excellent Chapin teachers who not only educate their students but also care about their growth and development. My husband and I are excited for my little one to experience all that Chapin has to offer in the coming years. Chapin is an extraordinary school. The decision to send our children here is one of the best decisions that my husband and I have ever made.

He came from a school that he attended for 8 years. Everyone went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Our son has made new friends. The principal and staff have been amazing. We were especially impressed with the school's commitment to it students' well-being and various clubs and school activities offered. It's easy to see that St. Ann's invests and cares about its students. What really sets this school apart is its emphasis on community and inclusion. We also like that it is a feeder school to Notre Dame high school that is right down the street. St Ann's and Notre Dame work nicely together. Our son has really thrived in this supportive environment, and we couldn't be more grateful. Highly recommend!

We feel our children are being properly prepared for their high school years and beyond.

The teachers were unprofessional and the owners are very shady and cares nothing for the well being of the kids. They make it appear as if because they are in quiet so called safe environment they are worth the money, my child was left in their soiled diaper for long Periods until they were developing a nasty rash in their private area. Consider paying the money to daycare slightly more as this place is not a so called quality daycare.

The classes are small, the teachers are wonderful and caring and their schedule is perfect for the age-appropriate classes. My son has flourished at this school. Before Crayons he wasn't speaking much at all, but I saw a difference in only a matter of weeks. Additionally, he has since learned his alphabet, counting, songs, and even how to write his name at only three years old! On top of that, he has developed great social skills, creative skills and Crayons staff has been a key factor in helping him become fully potty-trained. Mrs. Lini has been incredibly kind towards us and runs a fabulous daycare at Crayons. I now have a three month old baby and am getting ready to head back to work and there is nowhere else I would feel better about leaving my children! For parents looking - the facilities are clean and safe and prices are very reasonable, especially in this area. Their hours are convenient for working parents 7am - 6pm. Staff gives great updates on your kids after each day and really keeps them engaged in their activities. Crayons does fun things for holidays (my son loved walking in his Halloween parade) and offer events like professional portraits for your kids! I'm so impressed with this place, I recommend it to anyone in need of a daycare/nursery school for their children.
