My biggest gripe was that the live music was too loud. I am used to loud music in the background, but this felt louder than normal--all of my friends were complaining about it. This obviously made it difficult to talk with others. It might not be as loud when there is not live music. The food and drinks were okay. It is bar food with a Bavarian twist. Our servers were nice and periodically checked in to refill our drinks. I'm not sure if I would go here again if I was in town, but this would be a fun spot for some.

It's easily one of the best I've ever had--bold, perfectly seasoned, and loaded with an incredible lineup of garnishes that make it feel like a meal and a craft cocktail all in one. From the asparagus and pickled vegetables to the sausage, every bite complements the drink perfectly. You can tell the bar team takes pride in what they create. I love that this place is NA-friendly. They offer some light snacks and free pretzels, which is awesome for a brewery without a kitchen. There is a food truck on site, but it was closed when we visited. No worries, though, you can bring outside food, which is perfect since there are plenty of great restaurants in the area. I asked the bartender if they brew at this location, and he said they've moved all brewing to a different location in Seattle, but it's still super fresh and tasty beer all around. This is a spot worth visiting in Seattle or getting together with a large group for a few drinks. Plenty of choices for everyone!

A day membership fee is only $6, but you can buy a month or year at a time for a discount. Paws for a Beer is an off leash Dog Park, that allows humans 21 + to accompany them. Dogs need to be spayed or neutered, and up to date on their vaccinations. A great place for doggos to socialize, sniff each other, play with balls, sit on furniture, and walk around freely. They own the joint! We are at their beck and call. There is no other place in Whatcom county like Paws for a beer! Furr babies are free to roam as they please. There are ropes they can hang from, obstacle courses to conquer. Furr parents can hang out and watch tv, have a beer, wine, or other fun drink that they have available. The majority of the play area is uncovered, but a good section is covered with lots of space heaters, and a small indoor area to sit, and also where to can get your special baby some treats, food, bones, or toys! Don't delay, take your Furr baby for a fun play date.
