Where do I begin? Well I have near 20 years experience working in the independent field tech…read moresupport arena. And throughout those years there were quite a few times when I did work on customer computers that were bought from Compudyne (ie now Integris IT). So at the time this company was one of the so-called big computer business fish in town. And, I even recall the many complaints from my residential and commercial customers about this company too. But even though this company's tech screw-ups got be a paycheck and happy customers as a result, it still irritated the living $#!T out of me that this company could build and sell junk at high prices and screw people over for it afterwards. Heck, I even recall my commercial customers stating their tech support was terrible too and that they wished they never got into business with them either. Many stated that they felt trapped in business contracts with them too and that they were afraid to get out of them fearing that they would be financially held accountable for doing so. How sad!!! So recently, Compudyne changed its name to Integris IT. They are still in Duluth, MN and the Twin Cities areas. However despite their name change, their foul business practices have not at all. In fact as I stated above as being a field support tech, I too not long ago did some work for them at a remote out of town site. And being in my mindset at the time, I believed that perhaps they got better business-wise and were more fair with people. Unfortunately I found out the hard way that they are not. Their phone tech support rep kept asking me to make changes with the new network equipment I was installing for them on site. Then they stated to having problems trying to remote into them. Well low and behold, while I was on site, the place was closing for the day and this job was not finished and he wanted the site staff to stay longer so I could finish the job and it could be done. Well the site staff were not happy about that at all. They were never told it would take so long and, the install start time was literally scheduled for 4 hours just before they closed for the day. This in my opinion was horrible planning and was not fair at all for the customer who is paying them for the service. This also irritated me. Plus, the worst part of this work order was the fact their tech support kept arguing with me and blaming me for the tasks they were asking me to do. And their was even a moment during this fiasco where I had to offer a solution to resolve this tech's remote access issues. But sadly being the type of rude person this tech was, he still treated me like dirt. So all-in-all of my rant here. I can clearly state I will never work for "Compudyne" dba "Integris IT" again. They are extremely unprofessional and they are not approachable. And I have reason to believe they may be defrauding people too. And they do after all, have several complaints on the Better Business (Beauro) "BBB" and other Internet review sites. So as a caring field support tech, my advise is to check them out before signing the dotted line. In fact, stay away from them and go with a more reputable and professional company.

I sat in a meeting with them that they called because our office had too many tech calls and we were not profitable for them. We turned the tables and indicated that their crappy system caused our office to go down quite frequently and they gave us a number of empty promises. Since then they have not asked for another meeting. They have quite a bit of turn over in their techs because they get paid crap therefore no one knows what's going on with our computer system. They take a Trial an error approach to fixing tech problems because they don't have a basic understanding of how their system works. Instead of calling them, get a couple of hamsters and a wheel because that would provide your office more stability then Compudyne.

The guys at Denny's lawn and garden have helped save my bacon many times. I've purchased machinery…read morethere and have them help me work with functionality, warranty, parts and service. Just this morning I called because I had not properly clipped the dipstick in my sander and it blew out causing a big mess. The guys at Denny's did not have a dipstick, so instead of sending me down the road, they actually unboxed a machine that was outside in the cold, stole the dipstick from that engine and ordered themselves another one for that engine. I was able to go to work! It's very difficult to have a business in a town like Duluth and try to serve everybody and still make a living. I think the guys at Denny's do a great job and that's where I buy all my small engine stuff.

They're waiting for a part; but they never asked me if I wanted the part, they didn't know how much it would cost, and when it would be finished. And they treated me like I was the problem for asking these questions! Thats the biggest problem with these guys - they act like the customer is the enemy. Ive been burned twice in 10 years by this place. Never going back.
