Terrible service. I lined up a tow two weeks in advance, the day prior he increased the price. The night prior @ 9:33 pm he asks to pick up the vehicle at 5 am. Then he turned into a ghost, did not respond to calls or texts. I missed a young brother appointment at the harbor that took weeks to arrange. Unfortunate situation with my SUV breaking down today 2/20/2025 outside of Wahiawa on my way home. Called these hammahs and they answered! They were polite, direct, and quick! From the time I called until the tow driver, Nick, pulled up was 25 minutes. Nick is good people - he took the time to look over my ride and did the work to get it hooked up and towed across island to my mechanic in Waipahu. He followed up after to let me know it was safe at the destination as requested and made sure I received the e-receipt. I'm not happy about the situation with needing a tow, but I am VERY PLEASED with the level of service I got from Discount Towing. Mahalo for coming thru when I was in a bad spot! read more

My dealership cancelled the tow after a no-show. Not sure what happened or what went wrong.

If you get assigned this tow company do not I repeat do not use this company. Call another one/ have insurance assign another as this company has a tendency to cancel the order at the very last minute and make you waste your time. They are not reliable and not professional. Don't let the 5 star reviews fool you Horrrible service. Insurance assigned this company to tow my car. ETA was 2 hours. Within the 1st hour of waiting, called to check in and no one picked up. Called the 2nd time no one picked up. Called my insurance and they said Disount towing is not answering resulting in cancelling this work order. Smh wasted 2 hours of waiting. They incorrectly attached the tow and dropped my vehicle. They refused to cover necessary mechanical repairs resulting from the impact. This company has a severe lack of communication and lack of professionalism. Definitely look elsewhere if you can. read more

After a long 6 hour wait due to another Towing Company canceling on our order and not informing our Insurance company. Discount Towing came to the rescue! I would have given Discount Towing Five Stars if the wait time was not as long as it was and if we were updated when running behind. Ed the tow owner is a liar. He lied about giving me a receipt so I can get reimbursed for my insurance. That's the only reason that continue to go to him for my problem. He told me to text him the information for my car so he could give the receipt. I have been calling him for almost 3 weeks. He declined my calls and didn't answer to my text. My mother had to call him so he could answer the phone. He said that he was going to send the receipt to my number and never did. Said he going to call back but never did. He lied about send the receipt to my email. Which I never sent him, then said my mom gave it to him. Which she never did. He is a lair don't got to him! He a fraud!!!! read more

Amazing! Ed answered the call when i requested a quote to get one of our work trucks towed across the island. Instead of just giving me a price, he asked what was wrong. Someone had drilled a hole into the gas tank to stal the gas. We were just going to have it towed until we could decide on whether or not to fix it. Ed actually came over to show us how we could patch it!! That saved us thousands and will allow us to keep that vehicle in operation. I have found our new go to company for our towing needs! Just over all customer service. I was in an accident with a rental car and according to the manager of Enterprise in Aiea it should have been taken to their service center by the airport. This morning was a stressful one until Discount Towing came to our rescue!! My daughters car wouldnt start and we needed to get it to Mazda in Waipahu for service. I called Discount Towing and the clerk was so helpful and nice! He sent a tow truck right away...the driver came in about 10min. The driver attended our needs right away. I was involved in a car accident and the insurance company contracted Discount Towing as the company to take my car to the repair shop. My car was supposedly towed to the repair shop on the 8th of July but the shop said the car wasn't there. So on the 9th I contacted the towing company to find out where my vehicle was, the owner answered the phone and told me it was at the shop and how he was disappointed in the repair shop for not seeing my car there and telling me it wasn't there . He also told the insurance company the same thing earlier that day and promised both myself and the insurance pictures of the car at the shop. Those pictures were never received by either parties. Hours after I was promised resolution and pictures I called discount towing back to ask if my car was found and he again assured me that it was at the repair shop and he was headed there to take pics of proof. An hour later I get a call from the adjuster at the shop stating that the car was just now dropped off. Still no phone call nor pics from discount towing. I understand mistakes happen but rather than taking ownership of the problem the owner repeatedly assured me and the insurance company that the car was there and blamed the repair shop for just not seeing it. My fiancé was on his way home from work when he got a flat tire on the side of the freeway. I called several other towing companies to get price estimates because he was only 2 cutoffs away from our house. However, after receiving several quotes all of which were very pricey I was able to get ahold of discount towing and spoke with a representative who I later found out was the actual owner. He not only was helpful but he was extremely generous when it came to helping accommodate my tow. Shout out to discount tow and everyone who works for this company. These gus are awesome! So I had bought a bus to use on our farmland but the thing had died out in the middle of driving it away. These guys were able to come quickly and was able get it onto our farmland with their big truck. Other towing companies wouldnt do it because the uneven dirt roads are hard to tow, but it wasnt a problem for them. Turns out they are the only ones with a 4wd tow truck. These guys are awesome. Would reccomend them to anyone! read more
