I've been coming to Discount Tire in Vista for years, and I've always had great experiences here. The location is super convenient in the shopping center with Home Depot, and there's plenty of parking. Even before I needed new tires, I'd stop by to have my tire pressure checked and topped off for free, which I really appreciated. Today it was finally time to replace all four of my tires, and the process couldn't have gone more smoothly. Ernesto was incredibly helpful. He answered all of our questions, walked us through the different tire options, provided a detailed quote, and made the whole process easy and stress free. I never felt pressured into buying anything, and I appreciated how straightforward and honest he was. They also offer alignments for an additional fee and price match their competitors, which gave me even more confidence that I was getting a fair deal. Overall, this is a business that has earned my trust over the years. Friendly, honest, and helpful service every time. I highly recommend this location! read more

My 2nd visit to this location. One of the most organized and clean auto service centers I have ever used including most dealer service departments! I love their online communication before, during and after your visit. The service advisors are knowledgeable and take their time explaining your service and what will be done. David at this location is the BEST! Much prefer Discount Tire to the local Honda dealerships because they don't try and upsell you on unnecessary repairs. Give them a try. read more

Another amazing interaction with the professionals at Discount Tire in Vista on Melrose! We purchased two new tires for my wife's SUV two weeks ago. Very quick turnaround even though they had to have the tires delivered from another store and we didn't have an appointment. Today, I had an appointment to investigate the slow loss of tire pressure on one of my tires. Turns out it was a small nail. The repair was completed VERY quickly! Jose was truly a customer service expert, ensuring I was kept in the loop throughout and went the extra mile to make sure the entire process was effortless. My highest recommendation for anyone needing tires...go to Discount Tire in Vista on Melrose! read more

Drop in tire rotation done in 45 minutes. Respectful service personnel. No charge! Restroom needed attention.

I WOULD STRONGLY ADVISE AGAINST BRINGINING YOUR CAR HERE!! We dropped ours off for a routine tire repair and came back to new damage--a broken rear headlight and a damaged camera. No one mentioned anything, even though the damage was clearly visible. The manager didn't offer to file a report or help in any way. Corporate later told us they weren't liable. Employees claimed the damage happened in the parking lot, but the type of impact doesn't match a rear‑end hit, and there was no additional damage anywhere else. Both the shop and corporate refused to release camera footage to the police officer, despite having cameras throughout the property. After reading other Yelp reviews, it seems this location has a history of damaging vehicles and providing poor customer service. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere. read more

Scheduled an appointment for 9:45 to have new tires installed on my travel trailer. Website was easy to navigate and made selecting and purchasing the tires easy. It also has a feature that tracks the progress of your service giving you an ETA when it will be complete. It gave me an estimate of 10:21 as an estimate and I was skeptical. They beat it by 10 minutes! 4 tires on a travel trailer they had to jack up in the parking lot and move the tires into their shop. Nice job! Their staff was courteous and the lobby was clean. Highly recommend this location for ease of towing if need tires for your trailer. read more

Just brought my car in today. Had a nail in my tire. They quoted me an hour and it was ready in about 35-40 min. I come to this location whenever I have an issue and they always do an amazing job. Always friendly and explain things well. Super grateful for the work they do here. read more

Recently discovered a nail in one of my Tesla's tires and brought it to Discount Tire off Melrose for help. From the moment I arrived, their team provided outstanding service. One of the technicians promptly came out to inspect the tire, tested for air leaks, and, to my relief, confirmed there were none. They removed the nail quickly and, to my surprise, didn't charge me a dime for the service! read more

I made an appointment for new tires and I just have to say Great customer service and fast service .

Fast, efficient & friendly service. Went in because we had a nail in our tire. Will helped my husband and I and he was knowledgeable & honest. My tire light came on so I drove to my favorite Discount Tire location, the one in Vista. It shares a parking lot with Home Depot, so there is plenty of room. Also if I need a repair, I can walk to the Depot and have something to do while the work is being performed. Fortunately this time a couple of pumps of air was all that was needed to be done, and I was on my way. Great service, nice people read more

Discount tire is the best. FREE tire rotations. Will fill up your tires for FREE too. Great prices. They have me as a customer for LIFE. I recommend calling in advance to book an appointment for the tire rotation so you don't have to wait too long. They said an hour, but only took 30 mins. I had a flat tire that another place said I needed a new tire for. I took it to DT and they patched it up! I think they did it for free too, but it was a while ago and don't remember. After that experience, I bought my tires here and they are AWESOME. Run flats baby! Tires are cheaper at Discount Tire and you won't regret buying them. read more

Great tires at a great price and friendly service. I've been a customer of this store for many years now and will continue.

Came in Thanksgiving week for new tires, they said they could probably do alignment given its a volkswagon with 2hr estimate They kept my car for 5 hrs and at 5pm told me they couldnt do the alignment, even though thats why i picked this shop to buy the tires from (since their website and manager told me they do alignment). I needed to drive the following day for Thanksgiving so it would have been nice to know they couldnt do alignment as i wouldn't have purchased tires from them. They responded with rudeness when i called them out for having a sign that says they cant do VWs, and lying to me to sell me tires. Really scummy behavior on their part and the manager was nothing but rude in return. Fast forward 1 month one of the tires blew out (diff branch botched the repair), and these guys were entirely unhelpful getting it fixed. Would not recommend discount tires or any affiliates for your tires needs. This branch is particularly rude and always late when returning your vehicle. On both visits, they haven't started on my vehicle until i ask status and then i see them go grab the key and bring it to the shop, as if no one was aware they could work on then next car. Again, seems like poor management and the manager has been nothing but rude to me in my 2 visits. I would give 0 stars if yelp would let me read more

The company is complete crap.!!!!! Fraudsters and liars!!!! I have never encountered such disgusting service (((( I ordered tires, they promised me within two days, but in the end they called a week later. And no guarantee for the work or the new product. The workers work slowly. I made an appointment a week in advance, but I have to wait for 2 (TWO) tires to be replaced, almost two hours. This is nonsense. I was put in an awkward position and was without a car for a whole week, This is the worst repair shop in America for me. I do not recommend it to anyone. The company is complete crap.!!!!! Discount Tire - Very Bad Service - Tires Near Me - Vista, California

Needed my tires rotated and stopped by. A bit of a wait - 2 hrs, but not charged. Good service and nice staff.

I love this Discount Tire!! my husband and I always buy our tires from Discount Tire and they never disappoint. One of my tires would not air up in thought it was an error on my part but I took my car to Discount Tire to have it checked out. Jacob was happy to help me and had me pull up to the Air Station. Jacob inspected the tire in question and realized the valve core was broken. He replaced the broken part and aired up the other tires to be sure I was safe. All this for free because I had purchased my tires from Discount Tire. What a tremendous value and peace of mind. read more

Absolutely fantastic service! Between Ruben and the Manager, I am absolutely astounded with how amazing everybody was! I called them very last minute being out of town from Los Angeles and told them that my tires were bald and they squeezed me in very last minute: They finished everything within an hour, including placing four new tires and an alignment... no other tire place would take me this last minute and I have to drive back up tonight. Every other car person told me that two of my tires were fine and two were going to need replacing soon and the manager on staff today saved my life by making me aware of the fact that my tread was almost completely gone from all four tires! I would trust these people with my life and their service was absolutely excellent... For all of you single ladies this is the place to go to not get scammed read more

I got Tires from the Poway location and was sent to the Vista Melrose location for a wheel alignment. This is a very efficient location. This place was packed and yet all the clients were serviced in a timely manner and left with smiles on their faces. This is the ONLY location that does wheel alignments. Will and Luis are great problem solvers and they stay moving caring for the customers. They move fast all whilst listening and tending to the customers concerns. Very impressive. Aidan was technician that took care of my vehicle and did an outstanding job. Everyone knows that Tesla isn't an easy vehicle to service. Aidan knows his stuff. I had a sudden flat tire experience on my last visit at Carlsbad. Didn't expect it to happened specially its early morning. I went to Discount tire expecting someone will pay attention and will assist me with my concern - Uhmm, nope. I got point yo one direction to another. I was very stressed as i am not from the area and traveled 300 miles. I guess i just expected too much of an experience as where i go locally does take care of their guest and will talk to you and hear you out. It wasn't as busy as i was expecting when i went inside the shop and few cars are on the garage for service- luckily and shout to Jonathan for assisting me all through out with my chaotic day at SD! His customer service was phenomenal and i would recommend for you to have him requested if ever you are at the area. Attentive, understanding and direct to communicate as i mentioned my son is sleeping inside the car so he talked to me with direct, compassion and attentive and to top, He wont pass you or neglect you. The tire that i got was almost the same as i have and worth your money. For the wait of service? Minimal as like i said there was not a lit of customers waiting or walk-ins. Again if you're in the area, and need help come find Jonathan. read more

Another 5-Star experience at this Discount Tire location. Ismael and the team offer excellent customer service with genuine care and transparency! I came in last week, as a walk-in, and they said the wait would be 2 hours. Since I had other obligations to tend to that day, I said I'd come back. I went back yesterday, in the rain, but I guess everyone else thought it would be EMPTY since it was pouring outside... it was very busy, and I was told it would be 3 hours of waiting. So I decided to make an appointment. I came in during my appointment knowing I had a puncture in one tire, but after the initial inspection, it made clear sense to get 4 new tires. So I was able to get another set of brand new tires that were perfect for my car. The value you get at this specific location is unlike the others! I wish I knew everyone's names... but Colby helped me last week, Jonathan helped me right when I came in this morning, and everyone else just operated so seamlessly together. They make sure each client is well taken care of, and is informed throughout the entire process. Altogether I think I spent an hour there, which I was prepared for. Since there were other people's cars who were in front of mine :) -- I just waiting inside, which is a nice open space, and the chairs are comfy. And as a woman who gets anxious about having to deal with any car maintenance-- let alone tires-- this place makes tire maintenance easy and manageable! Thanks again!! read more

I've been coming here for several years. They are consistently providing fast service- very efficient, very professional, and knowledgeable. I don't feel like they are trying to sell me something I don't need. As part of their service, they provide free air checks and flat service for purchased tires. So I've been here several times when my car's tire pressure warning light comes on. They've checked the pressure, the surface of the tires to ensure there is no damage, and have reset the tire warning light. They've squeezed me in at the end of the day and make it seem effortless. You can buy tires at lots of places, but it's the service that makes the difference. read more
