Horrible customer service. Had a tire replaced due to San Antonio construction. No issues waiting on a tire they had to order. Issue is as soon as installation was complete there was a horrible vibration. After returning multiple times for the same tire, they just kept moving it around the vehicle. Last visit trying to get the issue fixed... after tech said it may be a mechanical issue (2 year old car) and waited for 30 min for any of the only two vehicles to be pulled into an empty bay. Then 10 cars pulled in. And we were bumped. Not waiting all day. Still not fixed. Too bad they had more employees working the desk than the garage itself. Be AWARE!!! N They don't deserve one star. Taking advantage of women! My 2023 Escalade was taken on emergency after hitting a pothole on NW military. I was with my 11month old child and needed to get help immediately and discount was closer to tow and get an appointment vs to the Cadillac dealership. I regret that decision! They inspected all tires and rims to make sure it was safe to drive. They ensured that they did everything to make sure my truck was safe to drive! They showed them To me, even asked me to come to the garage to show me. When they put one of the wheels back on, the dented my car. When they put the rim in my trunk, the rim was not protected and it scratched up the inside of my tail gate. The original tire replacement was the back rear tire. Prior to realizing this damage, When it came time to pick up my car, they drove my car up opened the door and rushed me to leave. The dent was on the driver side and they made sure I didnt see it. The door was opened by them, And the damage was covered.My son was already irritable after waiting hours after the second appointment (when they finally installed the new tire.) I got home and later my husband noticed the dent, with a clear as day hand print on the white vehicle from an associate. I drove it back the next day, and the store took full responsibility for it. Joey, and his manager. They advised me to contact claims department as damages were out of their hands. So that's what I did. Over a month later of conversing with them after providing all Documents and photos with evidence, the claims department wasted my time. The store denied all damages to their claims department. They had two different stories to my face vs their claims department. The whole scenario was just so unfortunate. I would never recommend, even on emergency to have your car serviced there. My parents have over 6 vehicles, and they have been customers for decades. The customer service is awful and they will tell you anything just to get you to spend thousands on new tires. I will NEVER give them my business again. Awful situation. It will cost me more to hire an attorney rather than repairing the damage myself. If I let this go, they will just continue to treat other customers like this. More and more damaged vehicles. Corporate companies like this have enough money to screw over clients. They don't care. Send your cars to your dealers, not this discount company. Your car will have to be a 'discounted' re sale after they're done with it. I tried this location out as my wife had said she found this location great. They found the nail, and identified it as being patchable and get this, they didn't charge me a dime. I literally said "who does that?" Apparently it's their policy. Not even because I bought the tires there. But for ANYONE! I said, it's gotta be worth a box of donuts or something!? So yeah, I owe them some donuts! This location stands out to me as opposed to the one closest to me on 281 because the vibe is much more chill here. So I just found out that my left front tire has a nail in it and tlin an unrepairable place. I special order my tires through them. I use continental tires. Fortunately I had the insurance and I only have to pay $38 to renew the new tires insurance because the tires are pretty new. Fortunately as well I keep a full size spare on my car so I was able to use the full size spare until they can order a new tire. That should come in in a couple of days. The tire technician showed me the bubbling leak and I saw the metal bolt in it. I am so glad I stopped in for this rotation!!! read more

Only place that has installed wheels on my 2014 Ram 3500. Cross threaded a lug nut and tried to let me leave with the nut half way on. I made them remove the nut which they had a hard time doing. If I had a flat Id have been SOL. I dont believe they are hand starting the threads on the wheel nuts, they are just power driving them on with their impact wrench. Went back to get tires rotated, told them to paint that lug and not use it (stripped). Service manager then tried to sell me a set of lug nuts for $100. I told him I already bought some to replace what they had stripped. He then told me he couldnt rotate the tires because the other lugs were stripped (didnt even try the backs) and showed me a bulging wheel lug nut which wasnt even from my vehicle telling me thats the problem. This Discount Tire installed 2 year old tires on my wife's car. Ryan, the manger, stated they were from a warehouse in Austin. If you use this Discount Tire, make sure to review the date (DOT number) on the tires they are selling you as you may not be purchasing "new" tires. In Texas heat, tires only last about 5 years. It is a safety issue - tire age. Discount Tire did correct their problem and reinstalled tires on our car that were manufactured in the current year. read more

Not sure exactly where I should be to have the tire pressure checked, I pulled into what I thought was the correct lane. After a few minutes a young man, whose name I did not catch, came up, and instead of telling me rudely to move since I was going the wrong way, merely commented that he would be glad to help me but suggested that perhaps I should turn my car around so as not to cause problems. Returned then and sat in the lobby and extra 15 minutes past the "appointment" time. When we ask about the delay, only then we were told it would now take an additional hour or so before they could get to us. We will go to a different company/location that values there customers time. The folks here were super responsive and explained that depending on how close the screw was to the edge of the tire, I may have to purchase a new one. I had an appointment this morning to have my tires rotated and a defective tire pressure sensor replaced. I was told by Fabian that they could not perform that service because I had "swollen lug nuts" and they would have to be replaced at $65 per set. I Had a nail in my tire and they put my new Michelin CrossClimate2 tire on in 12 minutes and balanced the PSI out on the tires, and all before my scheduled appointment began. I asked how they decide to jack up a vehicle versus put it on those platforms to raise it and got a very detailed answer explaining they look for sensitive parts and sometimes use blocks. A lot of hussle around the shop. Guys actually jogging at work. Front desk guy misnamed tire being mounted and I had to correct him. The tire and the insurance they provide is pretty pricey. Unusual request handled easily by these guys. I bought a 20 year old Tiller to prep my yard for sod, cheaper to buy this old thing than rent one. Only issues were the wheels. The tires were flat and they're tubeless, 16" and big rubber lugs for tread. Unusual tires and even weirder rims. Took them to this location as I've been a satisfied customer for more than 10 years. Mikey was patient and great to have manage this job. After a few go rounds with one tire seating fine, the other wasn't holding air overnight. We all thought it was a bad spot on the rim so I sanded that down with my Dremel, took it back and got a call from Mikey that they dunk tested it and there was a hole in the sidewall. Mikey ordered a matched tire for it and called me the next morning saying they had the tire and were mounting it. So unusual to get great service like that for tiller tires but that's what I got.
