What can I say? Nobody likes to maintain their car, but it's necessary if you want to extend the life of your investment. I have a Firestone credit card (offered through CFNA). I walked in for an oil change. The counter rep was nice and friendly. He gave me an adequate wait time (about 90 minutes), but I was simply dropping the car off and leaving for lunch. He took my phone number to call me when the service was complete and the car was ready for pickup. He called within the allotted time and told me the technicians found a couple of things that needed attention. My windshield wipers weren't cracked, but weren't wiping as well as they should. He gave me the cost to replace them as well as the installation cost. He also indicated my tires were at 3/32. My car would fail inspection at 2/32. He quoted me tires, wasn't pushy, answered all of my questions, and I walked out with brand new tires. They had found an old phone number in their system and were calling the old phone number as opposed to the number I gave them. Other than that, it was a great visit. This location is a little less busy than some of the Firestone locations I've visited. I recommend it. read more

I wish I could give no stars. I paid over $800 dollars here. I got 4 new tires, an oil change, and an alignment. Not even five minutes after leaving my battery light turned on and my car overheated. After pulling over at the side of the road the belt under my car was hanging out. We called for them to tell us they were about to close and for us to figure it out. No apology or anything. I have tons of pictures and documented everything. A tire had to be removed on the side of the road for my boyfriend to put the belt back on. Luckily someone helped us with a jack and tools. read more

Do not go to this Firestone! I took my car in 2 weeks ago because my battery wasn't holding a charge. They said I needed a new battery. Ok, done. Now lights are flickering and check battery light is coming on. I take it back. First they want $25 to check it...What! You just did the work 2 weeks ago!! Fine, now I need an alternator. Didn't you check the alternator when you checked the battery? Isn't that standard procedure? Was it the alternator that drained the battery, and I never needed the new battery? Now they are saying it probably just now went bad. Really. You're not getting any more of my money. Ever!!! read more

Excellent service!!!!!! I needed to purchase two new tires for the front of my car. After speaking with Jesse, I ended up purchasing all four tires for my car because of the great deal he worked out for me. Because of the rims I have on my car, it was going to take a over an hour to change all four tires, Sid dropped me off at my residence and picked me up so I wouldn't have to wait. Do not take your vehicle here. They will price gouge the shit out of you. I pulled my truck in for an oil change and to have an exhaust leak checked and have my breaks checked, and do an overall vehicle check. I've always been a fan of firestone because the one I went to while I lived in austin always took care of me really well. What the result was is they said I had over $4000 in required work that needed to be done. I told them to hold off so I could get a better understanding on it and my brother (who has worked with cars and trucks his whole life) said that none of that even needed to be done (maybe it could've been done, but was far from necessary) and also that they literally tore gaskets some gaskets while putting stuff back together in haste, also they didn't replace a bushing on one of my struts while putting it back on. You can tell the bushing wasn't replaced because it was literally clean there, where as if it was gone when it got there (like they said) it would've been really dirty like everything else underneath it. As I started looking up how much it would cost to buy parts they were literally up charging the price of some of these parts by 400% (I shit you not). $41 for a exhaust manifold gasket (which was HARDLY leaking mind you), I could order the part for $10.95 on amazon and replace in ten minutes (even if I didn't know how I could've watched a YouTube video). They were going to charge over $400 in maintenance for something that takes 10-15 minutes with YouTube instructional videos. Come here if you want to get your eyes stabbed. read more

Courtesy is there but efficiency is not. They have a First In, First out process. If you come in for a 15 minute safety inspection, it can take about an hour because of limited technicians. I also get the impression that because the safety inspection only costs $7 it is a lower priority when compared to much more costly repairs they can do. I recommend they have a dedicated process for safety inspections. This would save time for customers and open up the potential for more to come to this station. Sounds too reasonable and would most likely not happen because it's not profitable in the short term. For efficiency, I recommend the manager be able to do a 15 minute safety inspection when his technicians are busy. But that requires the manager to be qualified to do one. But that's just a recommendation. Therefore, if you have time to wait over 45 minutes for a 15 minute safety inspection come to this Firestone station.... but there coffee is pretty good! Hence the 3 star rating. read more

These guys know what they are doing they don't try to bully you into additional unnecessary services. They work quickly while you wait knowing that your time is valuable. I went in yesterday to see if my battery was good considering I had purchased a new battery from them three months ago. I walked in and wasn't greeted except with frowns. I did not get any names but there is a bald white guy that doesn't seem to like his job very much and may be the manager. Don't waste any of your time going there unless you want crappy services and over priced products. He was throwing around different prices and yes I understand Firestone is cooperate owned but cut to the chase and be clear and direct. I have a shoulder injury and he still made me lift up my own hood on the car and when I had questions to make sure I heard him right he wouldn't answer or he would walk off inside and then back outside just staring at the car like he didn't know what to do. Just a heads up they are under new management and their services suck at this location. Do yourself a favor and drive the extra 5-7 min to the Babcock location where I was treated a whole lot better! read more

Did my honda crv full maintenance check on Thanksgiving weekend, they provided the honest maintenance review like rear struts leak, rack and pinion leak and tire change suggestions. They said rack and pinion leak is a must and rest can wait. They provided me the coupons ($100 off on every $500 service) as it was Thanksgiving and I did all the three. These guys know what they are doing they don't try to bully you into additional unnecessary services. The service was very good, they provided me the pick up and drop as well. The only think that needs improvement is time duration and status updates to be more quick and prompt. read more
