Get tire fix but that's all. Had tie rods placed there but there was metal to metal noise when wheels turned to maximum right or left, went back and mechanic too busy to take a look but never offered time I could return. Took it to 2 places Gato and Hernandez on Bandera and both informed me they were placed wrong, went back to Hector's and mechanic wouldn't even consider if he had done job wrong, told me he would fix but would have to charge me, we had heated exchange, truth is I wouldn't have let him touch my truck but just wanted some acknowledgement that he could've been wrong and correct problem, been costumer for years when Hector actually owned place, NO MORE! read more

Didn't forget about it, I went straight there after work and they put it on for me and even put air in my rear tire that was low psi upon my request to do so. All free of charge. Looking for a quick tire fix?! Stop by Hectors and they will take great care or you! The mechanics are always friendly and take care of your needs in a timely manner. Now if you dont speak Spanish I recommend taking someone with you to translate since usually everyone speaks spanish. Sometimes there is a younger girl working who can help! This place has been my go to for years. Anytime I have a flat this is the location I visit to receive great service and only $5 to fix. They also have great deals on used and new tires. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE FOR OIL SERVICES or ANYTHING THAT HAS TO DO MECHANIC SERVICES , I took my 2015 tundra for a routine oil change and the mechanic broke the oil filter housing to my truck, they didn't want to assure any responsibility for the damages or replace the housing it self at there cost and said that I had to buy it from the dealer. As the worker started taking my tire off the manager told him to take care of a person that got there 20 mins after me as I continued to wait another 20 mins to be helped. This business supposedly opens at 8am. I was there at 8:05am, they said they'd be open in 5 minutes, while the 5 of them sat around and joked. After 10 minutes of this, and still no service, deuces. This place SUCKS. read more

My daughter and her boyfriend took there car there to get an oil change, and they didn't put the oil in. Now my daughters car is making a loud noise do to the negligence, then I call and the person that answered the phone said that they are not responsible. Employees seem disappointed every time a costumer arrives to shop. One employee took almost an hour to fix a minor tire problem. I assume it was a way to get back at management. Perhaps because they've have to work more and their pay is not enough, I don't know..I've seen them drinking alcohol on the job. This is not an employees problem, It's a management problem. Horrible service and horrible people. I went in to get my tires looked at and they ended up "fixing" the wrong one. Didn't even take a look at any of the other tires and made up some story about my front right tire having a hole when my back left tire had a screw.
