Very accommodating. Loved these guys. Took care of my needs. Anyone who would go to a Firestone or Goodyear establishment? You have to be out of your mind!!!!! After they do whatever they do to a tire ? You'll get a phone call of some serious issues to be resolved. No no. Scammers. read more

I have always been happy with the service and kindness of the employees at Discount Tire!! For over 15 years now!! I have been there twice recently - due to nails in my tires ! This is our third Discount Tire Store in two days to no fault of their own. We had two tires put on our car the day prior while traveling through Topeka, KS. As it turns out, they were not the right tires for our car and we felt unsafe driving the remaining trip with them. Through the Liberty, MO store, we found out the Overland Park store carried the tires we needed so we backtracked to the Overland Park store and they were able to get us in immediately. I feel terrible I cannot remember the gentleman's name who assisted us, but the name on our receipt says Bryant. He was very nice, efficient and so professional! Bryant was able to change out the two tires the Topeka store replaced yesterday with the two tires that matched our front tires. The Overland team went out of their way to help us, said they would handle everything and sent us on our way. What customer service!! Discount Tire will always have our business! Thank you! read more

This was my first time at this location. I made an appointment online which was really easy. Javier was really great about explaining the different options for new tires and going through the pros and cons for each option. The team was very quick to complete the work as well. I highly recommend this location and will return in the future. read more

Ordered tires for my vehicle online and set up an appointment and they made the process super easy, quick and simple when I got there. They even gave me an estimate of how long it would take for them to finish up. The gentleman who assisted me was super informative and kind in everything he did! Will come back for tire work here in the future! read more

This is my second time using Discount Tire for two different cars. They run a pretty tight shift. It's always busy when I have been here. With tires purchase you get free tire rotation and tires air check. They also will repair flat tires. The value of the tires are reasonable and they carry multiple brands that will work for your car. It's fast and convenient. read more

I had just bought a Toyota Prius from a friend, who bought a set of tires from Discount Tires 2,000 miles ago and I had a nail in one of the tires. The staff took me in right away and got me out in 45 minutes !!! Like a Pit Crew and they came and kept me informed. I'm a Senior Service Advisor a car dealership, and they treat me like I'm a regular customer. I will definitely give them a shot to bid on the tires on one of my six cars. read more

Very professional and presented with a chart that showed the lack of stopping distance that my new tires provide.

Had the unfortunate event of blowing out two of my tires on the highway and when my roadside assistance company sent me a tow truck, we visited 2 tire shops in Johnson County that said they don't keep too many uncommon tires in stock. But third time was a charm and Discount Tire on 11640 Metcalf had the exact size pair of run flat tires I needed in stock, and committed to getting me out of there in 2 hours. The representative I worked with was courteous, helpful, polite and professional. And they got me out of there 30 minutes faster than committed - especially on a snow day. I also purchased their tire warranty package because I will be glad to go back there in case of another unexpected tire issue. read more

When this Discount Tire location popped up in Overland Park a couple years ago, I thought nothing of it......until recently. When discussing car maintenance and tire repair needs with a co-worker, he strongly recommended that I check out Discount Tire. I figured I would give it a shot based on his rave reviews. Long story, short = I will never go anywhere else for tire service in the future. The entire team at the OP Discount Tire is fabulous. The moment I walked in the door, I was greeted with a friendly and helpful smile. Customer service was top-notch throughout the entire experience. I needed to buy 2 new tires for my vehicle and rotate the other 2 tires. The 2 tires I needed weren't in stock, but the staff was great about searching through their database to find the best price available and then scheduling a time that was convenient for me to return for the service. I paid on the spot for a seamless process when I returned in a few days after the tires came in. When I returned to have the work done on my tires, I was greeted with the same great customer service. While the work is being completed, you can either wait in the lobby (chairs, coffee, and water available), or you can give them your cell phone number to text you upon completion of the work. I was blown away by the speed and professionalism of the work itself. These folks ONLY do tires, so it's easy to get in and out in an efficient manner. Bravo to the OP Discount Tire team - you earned a customer for life! read more

I just had a blowout with one of my tires on 435 and Aniotch. I was able to come to the Metcalf location and they got us in to be evaluated within 20 minutes. Tires for my vehicle were in stock and they were able to fix my car the same day. We come here for all of our tire needs. Thanks so much! read more

Before relocating from Texas to Kansas, I purchased 4 new tires from Discount Tire in Frisco TX. The Service Team in TX is incredible. Felt really great about my investment and what all was included, They give you friendly reminders about your Tire care and when air needs to be check & tires rotated. They will do it all for free as part of the purchase. Came to Kansas and have since gotten a nail in one of my new tires. Went to Discount Tire at 115th/Metcalf (got there first thing in the morning) the tire was taken care of in minimal time and for free. Since the nail was in the middle of the tire, it was a quick patch. This team is incredible. Talk about polite, professional, expeditious, and well put together. So impressive. Great job Discount Tire. And extra kudos to Josh & Arsael at the Overland Park location. Am happy I made my purchase through this company. read more

They got me in same day and mounted the new tire at what seemed like a decent price. I was satisfied.

I had to go out of my way a bit because this location had my tires in stock. Everything was super easy to schedule. When I got there 15 minutes before my appointment, someone was already waiting for me to check my car! They were super fast. They said it would be 45 minutes. But by the time I got down the road to Starbucks and picked up my order I got a text that my car was already done! Amazing! They did ask about my wiper blades but didn't try to overly sell me like some places do. Even though there are closer locations to me, I'll probably come back to this location. Thanks! read more

Probably my best tire experience to this date. I have gotten new tires on my wife's car and my truck. Sitting in the waiting area I witnessed someone come in with a spare because of a broken wheel (pot hole). They just said we got you, listen to this person asked a few questions and just handled it. Very Happy with this shop.... read more

Unfortunately, my first trip to Discount tire will also be my last. I purchased a set of tires and was given a guaranteed appointment. I brought my car in at the appointed time and was told it would take one hour. When the hour was up, my car had not been moved. I inquired about it and was told that it was about to be started, even though it was still in the parking lot. I had another appointment in an hour, so I could not wait. I asked for and received a refund. I try not to expect too much, but I do expect a business to do as they said they would. Promising something and than failing to deliver on that promise is a poor way to earn customers. read more

I was impressed with everything overall ! The customer service, knowledge and experience was a lot better than other locations I've dealt with in the past..... They are my go to from now on I will make sure my friends and family are there as well! read more

Wow! I am blown away by how good the service was at my tire installation appointment. It helped that I ordered the tires from their online site a few days before and made a morning appointment, but the staff had the tires ready to go, were communicative, and downright expedient at getting my car in and out. They even took the time to point out a bend in one of my rims that needed my attention and reset my tire pressure sensor settings in the car. I've been going to various Discount Tire shops for decades, but I have to say this was hands down the best service experience I've had yet. Well done! read more

How in the world do you make contact by phone with ANYBODY at Discount Tires? None of their phones work. Corporate or local level. If you do price tires, you get, "I'll call you back tomorrow." Yeah right!! That's a joke! read more

You need tires, they got 'em! and if they don't they'll order them. I needed a new set of tires of my car and I had to only wait a day for the store to get the tires. Installation was a breeze and they explained everything, making sure I didn't leave clueless. All the workers were extremely kind and informative. Unfortunately I have gone from a long term loyal customer to a one star. We replaced tires on Saturday , drove the car and had no brakes when we attempted to drive it 3 hours later. Discount takes no responsibility for this "coincidence". Their only response was that They were glad that the mechanic they referred me to could take care of me. At least I live close so I didn't have to deal with no brakes on the highway! Don't let the high ratings fool you. When you expect them to step up, they won't! read more

I just got done getting 4 Barum Bravuris 5HM all-season tires put on, at the Overland Park store at 11640 Metcalf Avenue. I already called and told them the tires that i wanted and sceduled an appointment earlier this morning. They got me right in once I arrived and it only took 35 minutes to mount, balance, replace TPMS seals, and put the tires back on my vehicle. I'm very particular about keeping my factory black aluminum wheels looking like new, and was nervous about how they'd look. Well, not a mark or anything on my wheels, I'm super happy at how they treated my vehicle. The entire staff is very professional, polite, courteous, thorough, fast, and have a phenomenal attention to every detail. I'm a Discount Tire customer for life now, and couldn't be happier about the whole tire buying experience. I read alot of reviews on various tire shops and Discount Tire has the best reviews hands down of any tire shop around. I live 65 miles away and it was well worth the drive to get such amazing work done on my vehicle from people who still believe in manners and not trying to upsell the customer on things they don't want nor need. read more

I was impressed with the good selection of tires online, the reasonable prices, and the fast, professional service. I purchased online, where I saw tire availability, and received a reasonable price including all taxes and fees. My tires were available in store. Within two hours I was called to schedule my appointment, and I scheduled it for the next morning. My new tires were installed in just 35 minutes, without any additional costs. The waiting area was clean and new, with coffee, bottled water, magazines, and free wi-fi. Several shopping and dining choices at Rosana Square were also available within easy walking distance. Shit! I arrived and was told an hour. it have been over 90 minutes and my vehicle has not started service yet. When I asked and he should me where I was on the schedule, everyone else' wait time was 40-50 minutes, even the walk in's were being serviced faster. All I got was 'I'm sorry", Ever as I write this, other cars are being service and mine is still in the lot. They have very good lip service and seem like nice, and organized people, but today the service sucks. read more

10/10 recommend this place. I called around to 5 other tire shops is near proximity, and this was the lowest in price, and by far the best customer service.
