I've taken my cars here for years. Every time, except one, I had a good experience. When I had a bad experience, I noticed, a month later the employee wasn't there. I used to have tire issues, hopefully it won't be happening with the new car. I was there tonight,and someone came back in with a complaint. They fixed it. Just be on your toes when you leave and get a receipt. Like everywhere. I ran over a small screw, and knew exactly where to take my new car. My car was bought in August,and only has 3,500 miles on it. I don;t know anything about tires except you need to check the air and you need lug nut keys. I leave that other stuff to AAA. I parked at one of the spots, went inside, explained what I did. They started on my car within minutes. Then in a few minutes, they came into their waiting room, and told me, I didn't have any lug nut keys, but they didn't think the screw went into the tire. They pulled the screw out of the tire, checked it for leaking air. There wasn't any. Had I not gone there, I'd not have known I didn't have lug nut keys. The guys here are great. Yes,I do check my tires and how it drives after I leave, but I'm car OCD anyway. I'll take my car there again, but hopefully not soon. read more

Got a new set of tires on the penguin mobile a week ago. Its first come, first serve; no appointments here. I think they only cater to tires as well. Fast and efficient service. New tires are pricey, but what car maintenance isn't? Just pull your vehicle up to one of the line of jacks and go to the counter and tell them what you need. The tire rim was messed up under their care. And they refused to fix it. They said it was nothing they could have done to prevent it. Owner didn't care much and customer service was horrible and they weren't understanding. read more

Poor service .... Went and got 2 tires from them and I thought everything was ok... as soon as I drove off I could tell something was wrong. Took my car to the dealership and they informed me they sold me bad tires. I took my car back up to American Quality and was told that they would switch out the tire but they didn't have my size at the time to call back on Weds that's when they get their shipment in ... I've been calling on Wed and of course my size tire not available. Well guess what the tire didn't last finally went flat late at night while it was raining ... I called American Quality to see what they could do and of course not there is nothing they can do because I kept driving on the tire and now it's flat... my next question would be how are you suppose to drive the car with no tire on it until they received my size tire??... I have been doing business with these people for years and I would assume they would be more willing to help returning customers or any customers at that but NOPE... I will not be returning here again and will not recommend them to anyone again ... Poor Customer Service ... read more

Pulled into the parking lot and immediately a guy came out to me.. Not to help me but to yell at me to get off his private property if I am going next door. At that point I decided to go next door to Certifix Auto Repairs. I stopped in for a moment to ask where I could park my car because their parking was limited. When I came back to my car in the parking lot of American quality auto they had it up on jacks and ready to move it. I told them to take my car off the jacks and I was going to move it and do business next door. The gentleman who had already drove my business away proceeded to yell and curse at me. I would 100% not recommend this place and stay as far away from this crazy man as possible. Granted this particular gentleman could have been having a horrible day, but definitely no way to treat a potential customer! read more

I've been coming here for tires since I got my first car. They've patched several holes, fixed flats, removed nails, and gotten me several good deals on new and used tires. The mechanics are nice and very fair. It would have been pretty easy for anyone to trick sixteen year old me, who knew nothing about cars, into spending much more than I needed to, but they have even gone above and beyond and have always taken the time to explain everything to me without even being asked to do so. Their prices are often much lower than I expect ($10 to remove a nail and patch the hole, $15 to grind down a leaky alloy wheel). This is why I've kept coming back for so many years. They have a huge selection of new and used tires. They are super fast and everyone is so nice its crazy! I have trusted this business and gone here for years. Always fast and friendly service... That was until last Wednesday. I popped in after having a slow leak in my rear tire for about a week. They patched it quickly, $20 and I was on my way with a filthy wheel and tire but I'd take care of that later. Thursday was hectic and I didn't get to the car wash but Friday I did, and that's when I saw the huge scratch near my valve stem. I took the car back up Saturday morning where I was told I was out of luck and lying. He claimed the scratch had been there for a while because it was dirty. They would have told me if they damaged my wheel (ya right) Save yourselves a headache and some cash if you expect to keep your car nice and scratch free! read more

If the tire goes flat after you leave and you cannot get your car with the FLAT tire there they will leave you on the side of the road.
